Zero stars...but I give one because I can't choose a no star option. First of all, when I asked an associate for help, she ignored me. She was facing items, but she chose to keep her head down. When I asked for help again and she decided to acknowledge me, she told me to go wait in the aisle I needed help in and she would send someone over. No one came. Several of the older associates walked by and stared, but when I tried to flag them down, they melted back into the cursed dark aisles of no return and vanished. Ended up trying to find my part on my own but I ended up driving into Tucson and going to Home Depot where the associates were more than happy to help me match parts and look at compatible items. read more

Anything perfect location for that quick hardware run in the Sahuarita area, they have burned me. A few weeks ago I happened to be in the store for another reason when I saw a deal for $5 off something I needed. However I couldn't open for a few weeks due to medical issues to find it was missing a part. I went to swap it with another of the same kind. Most employees there are extremely nice and as I expected they said I could trade making sure the new one had all items. Well it wasn't that easy-had to do the paperwork. When they found out the store coupon was used, they wanted to charge me the difference for the swap. Here the inconvenience was on me based on their product defect and they wanted to put more of a burden on me. Ridiculous. read more

Went into the store needing a key made. This is after they made the wrong key this morning. Another 6 mile drive to get the right key duplicated. Waited for 10 minutes for someone to come to the key booth. And yes I checked in with the cashier upon arrival and was told that someone would be back there. No one showed up. Went back up front and still no one showed up. Customer service is pretty poor. I am sure I can find another company to make the key. read more

Ace Hardware Sahuarita is the ONLY Ace Hardware store I use in town. Their customer service and friendliness is excellent. On two separate occasions, George built 2 screens for me and the turnaround on the last screen was one day and the price was affordable! I cannot say enough about Ace Hardware Sahuarita and strongly recommend it. read more

Very convenient and large selection I've read the reviews here and say I agree with both the positive and some of the negative ones. Yes, the people who work here are knowledgeable, but because of the number of customers often they are stretched pretty thin and getting someone to help you can be tough. The prices are fair and make shopping there for a few things easier than driving to Home Depot or Lowes. Their tool selection is great for a small store. Anyone can have a bad day but for most of the time I've been taken very good care of here. To the negative reviewers, try smiling and not being rude. You'll find you'll get treated better, not only here but anyplace you shop. read more

I placed an order online and picked it up at the store. While I was there I had several questions about the different types of flashlights and torches. The man who served me was very helpful and patient and I wound up buying one more of the same torchlight and a few other items. The next day I returned one of the other items, and there was no problem returning it at all. This store is heads and shoulders better than the ACE Hardware in Green Valley Mall. It is cleaner. The staff is just as helpful. The prices are MUCH better. And everything is organized better. read more

I usually like this store, they have a good selection of goods and had exactly what I was looking for in the barbecue department. However, after wandering around looking for someone to assist me I finally approached a gentleman and he stated he'd assist me in a few moments. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Let me start off by saying this is in the green valley area, which as you know is a 55+ crowd for the most part. My husband and I (in our mid 20's) live in Rancho and are doing quite a few projects on our house that we just bought. We've lived in Rancho for about 2 months and have been to this Ace about 6 times, and won't be returning after this last horrible visit (they've all been horrible might I add). If you come in contact with Dwight (I'm assuming he works at the paint desk), be ready for a crappy attitude ESPECIALLY if you're young, rude, huffing and puffing every time someone comes in even though it's 30 minutes until closing, and him to move as fast as the sloth from Zootopia. Me and my husband went in there to get some paints that were on sale. We stood at the paint counter for maybe 15 seconds, when Dwight said very rudely, "it's gonna be a while, I'll get to you guys as soon as I can." Honestly, making us feel like we needed to come back another day. We were in no way impatient, like I said we weren't standing there for long while he helped some lady with a bird feeder for over 10 minutes. Once he was done with the older lady ahead of us, he never greeted us to the counter. Hell, he never even acknowledged us or even looked our way. He was clearly annoyed that he had to mix some paint up 20 minutes before closing. While our paint is being mixed, he decides to help the older lady behind us, being as sweet as can be to her. So at this point I'm like okay maybe he hates young people, because I'm just not sure what we've done to him at this point, so it's all I can come up with. Whatever we get the paint and go to checkout. So we're checking out where another lady is already throwing attitude out. (Like seriously what is up with these people who work here). I politely tell her that these paints are buy one get one 50% off and that I need to pull it up on my phone. She looks at my phone and immediately pushes it back in my face and says, no these paints aren't on sale. I look at it again, and sure enough yes they are on sale. She gets all angry that she was wrong and is just nasty the whole time. So hi there, you must've made it to the end of this god awful review. I know how convenient Ace Hardware is for you sahuarita/green valley folks. And how sometimes it can be cheaper than Lowe's or Home Depot. But just take your business to Tucson at those stores. I hope you never have to go through the attitude and nastiness that we went through for no reason. BECAUSE CLEARLY THIS PLACE HATES MILLENNIALS AND MONEY GOING INTO THEIR STORE. bought three keys and one lanyard. One of the keys was cut wrong and he had no more of that kind. The Lanyard was marked $1.99 where it was but was charged $3.98. I only for gave the price differance because it was for U of A. Plus an employee was fightingwith an employee. Doubt I will go to this not so classey place again. read more

Purchased solar screens including measurements, removal, and install. One of the patio door screens has a large enough gap for small lizards to crawl in. Even after sending photos & emails to the manager and numerous phone calls, I am still waiting for it to be corrected. I would not recommend this hardware for solar screens. read more

They know the paint mixer is broken but they have not fix it. So it takes way too long to get paint mixed. Also the staff is not very motivated to help you in a timely manner. read more
