I mean... the food was ok. Everything ate really dry. The green sauce wasn't that tasty at all. I didn't like it. The garlic noodles while taste wise was good ate super dry, the rice was dry the chicken was flavorful but ate dry without the sauce. The best thing was the egg rolls and they were ok at best. I probably wouldn't eat hear again, but for the most part they did a pretty decent job.

I ordered the pork belly kimchi fried rice and the pork belly garlic noodles!! This shop is located in a plaza with easy parking and it was easy to find, you order at the front first and then they bring you the order, service was great! It is a nice chill lunch spot to hang out, I especially enjoyed how well their pork belly was, I will be back

Great fast casual Vietnamese restaurant in Orange. If you don't want to trek out to Westminster/garden grove, Saiga is a solid option. They have a bunch of classics on their menu including pho, vermicelli bowls, bahn mi, garlic noodles and rice dishes. I ended up getting the vermicelli bowl with the crispy pork belly ($1 extra) as well as the grilled pork bahn mi. The vermicelli bowl was so good and refreshing with the slippery rice noodles and fresh vegetables. I also loved that it came with an egg roll. The egg roll was perfectly crispy and had a good filling ratio. I'm glad the cashier convinced me to get the crispy pork belly. I typically don't like pork belly because it's too fatty but this one was perfect with the crunchy skin and juicy tender meat. The nuoc cham fish sauce balanced out the whole dish too. I had the blended coconut Thai tea smoothie to go with my vermicelli bowl and it was delicious - creamy, nutty, sweet and a good amount of Thai tea flavor. The coconut paired so nicely with the Thai tea! I saved my bahn mi and paradise swirl (blended coconut strawberry and pineapple smoothie) for later and it was still good even hours later. There was plenty of parking in the plaza on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant has a decent amount of seating inside. The workers were nice and professional. It was the perfect quick meal that I was looking for.

This was our first stop on our recent Orange County trip. The eatery is modern and casual. We ordered two bowls- a vermicelli and a rice bowl. For the vermicelli, we opted for chicken, which came with an eggroll! The rice bowl came with grilled pork and a yummy green aioli sauce. They also have banh mi, pho, garlic noodles, kimchi fried rice, lemonade, and desserts! Both bowls were very flavorful and delicious! We also got a lychee green tea and a lemon guava green tea. Both drinks were refreshing! Service was friendly and quick! Can't wait to try more items on our next foodie trip!

A great fast-casual Vietnamese spot in Orange! So many options to choose from on the menu, ranging from banh mi to pho to garlic noodles! There is something for everyone! The staff were so friendly, and ordering was quick and easy. I tried the barbecue chicken banh mi, grilled pork vermicelli noodles, and the pork belly garlic noodles, and they were all a hit! The barbecue chicken banh mi was great, with the fluffy yet crunchy bread and juicy chicken, with the fresh and pickled veggies within. Such a large portion too, I saved the other half for later! The grilled pork vermicelli noodle was a nice palette cleanser, cool and refreshing noodles and fresh veggies, topped with fried shallots and amazing smelling grilled pork. Love the addition of the eggroll as well for a crispy texture change! The garlic noodles were definitely my favorite, with a hit-you-in-the-face garlicky punch. I loved the springy, bouncy noodle texture along with the fatty pork belly. Washed everything down with a lychee lemonade, which was not too sweet and refreshing for the carb-heavy meal. I can't wait to come back to try their other menu items, including the kimchi fried rice and pho! They're still having their promotion now, but 1 entree and get a drink 50% off! Lasting until this weekend! And then I believe they're bringing back a Happy Hour menu afterwards, which I'm excited for... Eat good, eat fast!

Grilled Pork Vermicelli with Eggroll, BBQ Chicken Rice Bowl, & Lychee Green Tea

I really like the variety on their menu and it's an easy go to spot, especially for takeout. My go to is the grilled pork vermicelli, especially with the fish sauce which is super flavorful and the crispy egg roll. We also ordered the BBQ chicken rice bowl and it was a solid choice. I paired my meal with the lychee green tea and it was really refreshing, and the service was great as well with everyone being very kind. Definitely a spot I'd keep in rotation.

For drinks, we got the strawberry lemonade, which was sweet and mildly tart, and the lychee green tea, with a sweet flavor and a green tea aftertaste. Highly recommend both! Tried the eggrolls; first off they were pretty big. The outside was flaky and not at all greasy. The filling was hot and flavorful. Got the pork belly bahn mi. Good flavor, tastes smoked with flavors of cinnamon and star anise. However, didn't have a lot of meat in it. Had about 4 slices per half. The pork belly was nice and crispy. Tried the grilled pork bahn mi. Was expecting a BBQ pork flavor but this was different and good! Smoky and juicy. Felt like this sandwich had a little bit more pork in it. You order at the kiosk and they bring your food out! Easy and great service!

Overall we really enjoyed the food and ambiance here. Everything was brought out to us (we dined in). The lychee lemonade was sweet, tart and strong on the lychee (I love that). The Thai tea was decent, not strong on the tea flavor but still good. I added an egg to my shaken beef and it was cooked perfectly, nice and runny. The beef was tender and the side salad + pickled onions added to the dish was a nice refreshing touch. The star dish was the crispy pork belly! The pork belly is perfectly crispy while also being flavorful. The flavor came through in every single bite! The staff was very nice, they have an Easter "iSPY" hunt happening and if you find everything on the list you'll get a sweet treat. Really nice touch to get customers & kiddos to engage and look around.

Delicious Vietnamese food in OC. From vermicelli, rice to salad bowls and PHO and Bánh Mi, this spot has a little bit of anything for everyone! Their Pho is solid and also tastes just as great to go! Love that they don't use the plastic to go packaging! Rich broth with generous portions of meat. Their bánh mì is a large portion and my go to is their roasted pork belly! Cannot to wrong with whatever protein you crave. Their vermicelli bowls feel light and fresh to satisfy your Vietnamese food cravings! We went for pork belly and the grilled pork. Also their Vietnamese coffee game is STRONG just how I like it Go check them out!

Reservation: Not needed - fast casual Parking: Super easy parking in lot right outside Vibes: Very bright and welcoming atmosphere with greenery and free wifi Service: friendly and efficient Grilled Pork Banh Mi: my personal highlight - perfectly toasted bread and the grilled pork was so flavorful Garlic noodles with BBQ chicken: chicken skin had really nice color on them and noodles had the right amount of garlic Brisket Pho: great amount of noodles and brisket with the classic basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeños provided and hoisin and sriracha packets to taste Everything together was under $40 - a convenient, quick meal for good value!

    Chicken Vermiccelli Bowl.

I was pretty bummed that the Boba place was shut down initially, not knowing what new spot would replace it. But like a Phoenix reborn from the ashes of a past life, Saiga Vietnamese Eatery was created. The store itself leans small-medium size, but it was empty when we came in so there was no issue finding a seat. Ordering was easy and we got our food within 10 minutes. I ordered the Chicken Vermicelli bowl and I feel like I hit an equally healthy and delicious find. The sauce was just the right amount of tangy and the sides were proportioned just right. It looks like they use Rotisserie chicken as the protein. I would order that bowl again and again. Though I am tempted to also go for their garlic noodles. Coming back again for sure.

    Justine R.

Came here recently and was really impressed. We tried the pho, pork belly banh mi, egg rolls, and drinks -- honestly no misses. The ingredients tasted fresh, portions were solid, and the flavors were on point. The pork belly banh mi was probably my favorite. It's a great place for a casual lunch or dinner when you want something comforting but not too heavy. Bonus that they also sell items in stores! Would definitely return.

Came back again after a while and they changed their menu! Open on holidays like July 4th, like a true Asian restaurant! Got the: 1. Cajun green beans ($14): 9/10, the lemon pepper butter sauce was scrumptious, I even wanted to add rice to it. -1 for green beans that are on the old side and the ends weren't chopped off. The corn nuts on top are meant to give a nice crunch, and while they tried to crush it, it's still too hard for my liking, so we mixed it with the sauce so it could soften up. 2. Seafood soup ($26): 7/10 and not worth the $26, as the swai fish is very little, you get only approx 4 shrimps, and the owner couldn't allow subbing calamari for more shrimp as he explained that the seafood is all pre-portioned out. The soup is very sour like Tom yum but it had too much lemongrass and was too sour for my liking. It came with 3 pieces of cucumber that could rival Ding Tai Fung and spicy sauce that seemed like their rendition of Lao gan ma. The price would've made me -1 but they get a +1 for the cucumber and Lao gan ma type spicy sauce, otherwise it would've been a 6/10 for me. 3. Mushroom & Beef Stir Fry ($23): 9/10, the beef reminds me of shaken beef and the sauce is very flavorful of beef. Love that the rice is delicious chicken rice, it's so addictive! If the mushroom was more umami it would take this up to a 10. 4. Garlic Noodles with Prawn ($22): 10/10, my second favorite on the menu (my fav is still the discontinued mushroom soup) and out of all the garlic noodles I've had, this is the best one. It's garlicky, the noodles are perfect texture, and the shrimp are large and crisp. I've been ordering garlic noodles at every Viet restaurant I've been to and haven't met a better executed one 5. For dessert, pistachio mouse cake ($12): 10/10, never knew pistachio and berries are a good combo but it was so mind blowing! The pistachios had the perfect crunch, and the wild berry sauce helped cut the richness of the cake. I only wish there was 2-3 more pieces of strawberry as it is the perfect accompaniment to cut the richness of the mouse cake. TLDR: summer menu is worth a go (minus the seafood soup) and please bring back the mushroom soup!!

I was introduced here by a couple of friends, and Seven Grams did NOT miss! We were a big group,…read morewhich means we got to try multiple different things out. We waited one hour on my visit, but that is to be expected as the restaurant is quite small. Beef Rolls (5/5): We got two orders of these, and it was our favorite for a reason. Crispy and flaky wrap on the outside and it was packed with flavor. It was very satisfying to eat! Scallion Pancakes (3.5/5): They were plain but that is to be expected, I didn't taste much scallion. It needed the sauce of course! Spicy Wontons (4/5): These are solid and the chili oil does pack a lot of heat. I would say they are on the spicier side, just wish there was a little more depth to it. Seven Grams XLB (4/5): Juicy and flavorful! Not the absolute best I've had, but still worth ordering. Golden Beef Noodle Soup (5/5): This bowl right here was amazing. Green leafy kale paired with the extra hearty soup was what made this bowl a standout dish for me. 100% would order this alone! Mapo Tofu (5/5): Yummy silky tofu cubes with the minced meat sauce were delicious in every bite! I had no other complaints, but this dish gets very filling easily. Seriously, this place is one of my favorite places in Tustin. The service one inside is efficient, and the ambience is a bit noisy and packed, but this place is popular for a reason. I'll definitely revisit this spot when I get the chance.

Been to Seven Grams multiple times, primarily for the delicious Xiao long bao. There is a Yelp…read morewaitlist, and you can also join in person. Seating consider is around 10 tables plus hjgh top stools, so if you are a large group the wait can be long. We stopped by yesterday to try out some new items, which were a mixed bag. First the Cheese Chicken Roll was surprisingly good. Imagine the Beef Roll and swap things around to get something off of a fancy KFC menu. It features a crispy flaky tortilla outside, wrapped around copious chicken (katsu texture), some lettuce for a crunch, some melted cheese, and then a spicy Thousand-Island type dressing. It all pairs well, has a good chicken portion, and texture variation too. My only desire would be for slightly more lettuce and slightly less cheese, otherwise perfect. Crispy Lotus Root Fries are solid, but not a replacement for typical potato fries. The lotus version was not as crispy or crunchy, but would be an Asian version. It comes with ketchup and the same spicy thousand island dressing as the chicken roll. Lastly we were let down by the Pan Fried Shrimp&Chicken Dumplings (Whole Wheat). The whole wheat wrapping had a very slight texture difference, not as chewy as the typical dumpling wrapping. But the inside was the main focus. It seemed like it was a fishball inside, a homogenous color and texture and more reminiscent of fish than of shrimp. It's possible we got the wrong dumpling. Based on this experience we would not order it again. Wheat wrapping would be fine, but the shrimp/chicken filling would be a no.
