I'm a local here in Corpus Christi, and I'm so sad I haven't heard of or tried this place yet. My family and I went out for a little pick me up and came across Saigon's. First off, the atmosphere is so cute and relaxing. They had some calming beats music and it was all very quaint. I also have to mention - the staff was so nice!! We ordered just plain cold brews. I wish I had tried something more adventurous for the sake of this review, but I must say this was one of the best cold brews I've had. They have a ton of options to choose from for both drinks/food. I absolutely loved this place. The staff is always friendly and offers great suggestions. The atmosphere is cozy. I can say so many great things about this place until you enter their co-ed restrooms. I went twice in a 2 week span. There was no soap and after the second visit, the restroom looked in the exact condition as the first time. The walls and floors in the restroom have stains that look like it has been untouched for a while. It was disappointing to see. I really was looking forward to their French menu. My 1st time there and I got ube coffee and bagel w/ egg. The food and service was excellent. The staff was excellent. The ambiance of the place I just love but there is one thing - the manager at the time I was there was just horrible. The way he spoke to the women that worked there is just horrible. He is very chauvinistic. I mean these young women are spoken down to and I feel from just watching how he interacted with the staff is just shameful. I would not want my daughter to work at a place like that and work for him. Maybe this company needs to look into another manager. Someone who knows how to manage and knows how to respectfully treat their employees. Unfortunately I will not be back at this place and I will tell my friends about my experience there. This is hands down one of my favorite coffee shops in town!!! Everyone is super friendly and the coffee here is so, so good. It's the type of coffee that's so perfectly roasted, it doesn't need flavors or sweeteners. The first time I went it was a little busy, but my coffee came out quick. I always get the flat white. It tastes amazing just the way it is. The espresso is very smooth, there's just the right amount of milk foam, and it's definitely strong enough to get you going. It's made well each time and the taste is consistent. They also serve banh mi which I haven't gotten a chance to try yet. I always get my coffee to go, but the inside is beautiful. This is a very cute little coffee shop in south side of corpus. I have heard a lot of of good things about their Vietnamese sandwiches and coffee so we finally decided to check it out. The shop is conveniently located in the corner of a busy plaza in between the intersection of airline and holly. The interior is nice and clean, it gives off a modern ambient with a touch of Vietnamese tradition. We got a classic banh mi, Vietnamese iced coffee, coconut-pineapple smoothie and an avocado toast. The banh mi was delicious! It reminds me of my hometown where I grew up in. The Coffee is strong and has an authentic taste of how a traditional vietnamese coffee should be. We were in town for a couple days from out of state and stopped by this place both days because it was so good we had to have it again before leaving town! We tried the coconut and pandan latte and they were both amazing. The pandan latte is the best latte I have had in a long time and I love trying new coffee spots. The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable about coffee roasting. The decor is nice and a very comfortable spot to hang out and enjoy a coffee or work/study. There's also alternative milk options including my fav oat milk. Food options as well including an awesome croissant we tried and kolaches as well as banh mi. Honestly my favorite cafe in Corpus Christi. I can tell that they really care about the quality and craft of the coffee here, as they told me about how they import their beans fresh from Dalat, Vietnam. When it comes to Vietnamese coffee, nowhere else compares. My go to is an iced Vietnamese latte, but for the super hot days, I get their "Espresso Yourself" since it has ice cream in it. We are visiting from out of town and came across this coffee shop. The Pandan latte is sweet and delicious. I definitely recommend this cold drink to anyone who wants to venture out and try something new. Hua, one of the coffee makers provided AMAZING customer service and explained the menu to us. He even customized his recommendations to us by asking us a few questions: hot or cold, sweet or not, willing to venture or stick with a classic, etc. there are other items on the menu that I can't wait to try when we come back! Update: We went back a second day in a row to try to breakfast. We had the Saigon brunch, which is steak, eggs, bread, pate and veggies. We also had a drip coffee and a Sua coffee.
