The shop is beyond filled with everything you need for survival gear, but also camping type items, boots, security items, food rations, various tools and many cool things for winter. You could spend hours looking at all the merch they have packed in their store - it's literally wall-to-wall (but still organized). The staff seems very knowledgeable and very passionate about their area(s) of expertise. Good to know they have much more than fatigue/camo patterned clothing, canteens and compasses.

By far the best bait store in the whole Vermont side of lake Champlain/burlington area that I've been in. They had triple the amount of isles of tackle than any other store including Walmart. Wide variety of tackle and different brands. The literal cherry on top is the creemee stand built into the side of the building. Great creemees at a great price. My only slight criticism is that the creemee was a little drippy and I didn't even go on a hot day. Nonetheless, great all in one store that you could get literally anything. I walked out with a bottle of wine, some fishing tackle and a maple creemee, not many places you can do that at!

There is always some good seasonal sale's @ Sail as they have a large assortment of outdoor clothing, fleece, jackets and other goods! Their selection of winter clothing is pretty decent. Brand names are in the mid range on average. They do have some Arcteryx, Canada Goose, North Face and Columbia items to name a few on the higher end. A decent selection of outdoor footwear as well. If getting lost in the woods, or skiing hiking or fishing is your game then you need to get to Sail!

Five stars for absolutely first class customer service on a walk-in repair job…read more Short version: Through blatant and admitted poor judgement and misuse (note to self: do NOT cram ten pounds of shit into a five-pound bag), I managed to bust and hideously mutilate the main zipper on my favorite little Arcteryx dayback. Phoned the store, recounted my idiotic tale, asked if the factory did zipper replacements. Was told that if I could bring it in, they'd look at it and tell me if it was feasible. Upon inspecting the bag, the assistant manager insisted on sending it to the mother ship for a new zipper under warranty, even though I repeatedly told him that the rupture was my fault. Factoring in labor, bookkeeping, and the prepaid FedEx they returned it to me with, they lost a lot of money on my dinky hundred-dollar packsack. I own a half-dozen of their bags and garments. The designs aren't always perfect, but I'll keep buying their stuff when it mostly meets my needs, because their after-sales service is bricklike.
