The store is always clean and tidy, the staff are always friendly and helpful and you can usually find everything you need in here if you are popping in for a pint or milk or a loaf of bread. There is good parking here and an ATM which is always handy. It is also in a good location, with excellent access to the Belfast and Newtownards roads. There is certainly no real reason not to call in here. You won't be able to do a full weeks shop in here, you will need to go to Tesco or whatever for that but you certainly will be able to get plenty of what you need in this wee shop.

It sells all the usual stuff but the prices are slightly hiked up because of its location and I guess just because it can with all the passing trade and the business men and women nipping out for coffee, chocolate, papers and snacks. I don't care that it is a tiny bit more expensive, its convenient on the walk to town, friendly and it has a good feeling about it.

The place initially had the National Lottery and Paypoint, which made it a very handy port of call. It now has neither of those as it never had the customer numbers to fully sustain them, which has lead to low numbers decreasing even further. I don't ever go in here anymore unless it's for something so basic, as it usually doesn't have anything you want, with me unable to get real butter, cream and brown bread on separate occasions. Has massive hot food area. The hot carvery sandwich I had was lush. I used their Facebook offer half price deal so got it for like £1.75. Bargain. It was packed with filling. The meat tasted so good. There is also a proper barista coffee shop with a lovely seating area overlooking the Buoy Park and St Anne's along with some very fancy looking self service coffee machines. It's a great space too, a far cry from the typical Centra or Spar with very funky design features, high ceilings and great graphics and colours which make it a pleasure to visit. Really great addition to the area and a sign of things to come for this rapidly changing part of Belfast.

Firstly the store is deceptively big and you could easily complete your weekly shop here. They have a huge cold drink and snack selection and they also have an off license at the back of the store. The selection of alcohol isn't amazing but they have all the usual suspects. One thing to note is that there's a minimum spend if you ant to use your debit or credit card. This happened to me but rather than pick up unwanted items to make your purchase up to £5 you can use the in store ATM. There's a whole load of bargains in this Nisa so you'll more than likely come out of the shop with items you didn't intend on buying.

I have found that the produce is mostly local and the freshness of it is first class. There is a butchery department in store and the meat is off excellent quality. There is a small sub post office on the premises which operates 09.00-17.00 Monday to Friday. It is possible to do your weekly shop in this store as I have observed some people do and the amazing thing is that the prices compete with the larger supermarkets! I am all for supporting our local stores especially when you can buy such good quality produce.
