It's not a huge store, but helpfully it's open 24 hours a day, although you do have to fight your way round the shelf stackers at night. Generally it's pretty well stocked, apart from the odd days around the major holidays where you can find the shelves dreadfully empty. There's a pharmacy, which I've never used, a Tesco Direct counter which works just as it should. The photo shop is always having their machine break down but when it's running the service is actually very good. A word of warning, there's a café tucked away upstairs at the far right of the shop, very easy to miss. I would definitely give it a miss, the breakfast is truly disgusting, and the coffee machine seems to be out of order whenever I go there. It's clean and tidy though.

Not a fan of the co-op down the road this is the best place to get produce, eggs, meat and just about most things you can think of to fill your fridge and cupboard. The upstairs even has large freezers with ice cream and baked goods, and more meat. The people are very friendly and everything is quite affordable. I am so happy to be able to support my local farmer. They'll soon be starting a delivery service as well!

The meat prices are extremely good especially for being so fresh and local, and the frozen meats are a super bargain! We bought some just-picked seasonal strawberries yesterday and they were amazingly delicious. We still need to get some things at a bigger store like some familiar national/international brands or particular varieties of groceries, but Radmore Farm Shop is definitely our new place to walk for fruit, veg, and meat. It's perfect for those "What are we going to have for dinner" afternoons because I can grab meat, onions, mushrooms, and whatever veg suits and cook something up fast. We are definite fans and plan to shop here routinely while we're in town.

As it is an Extra, it stocks everything from TV's to toothpaste, so everything you need is under one roof. These include a a range of locally-made ice creams, preserves, fruit juices and bakery products, as well as unusual cooking ingredients. (It's the first time I've seen black salt on sale.) There's a delicatessen counter and a large butchers within the shop - the latter doing a roaring trade on our visit. It's a bit pricey but it's the quality and local sourcing you're paying for. It's a perfect place to buy gifts for friends and family, if they like good produce. Staff and knowledgeable and friendly. There's a parking area at the front. Highly recommended.

I went in this supermarket on Friday 1st of August to do our monthly shop, we used the scan as we…read morego scanner which we always have done with no problems in the past apart from being checked 3 times out of 5 visits which is annoying but always with no problems. So we do our shop which came to £333 get too the checkout and as expected get a message saying to call a member of staff to check our shopping. This member of staff turns up and proceeds to rifle through our shopping checking i believe 65 items,, they get to the 65th item and tell us that we hadn't scanned a packet of doughnuts so they would have to check every single item in our trolley .We then spent roughly half an hour whilst every single item was took out of our trolley and spread over the service desk ,in bags on the floor, bags in the trolley and an on an adjacent unsed till.There was hardly any consideration for the fact they were handling our food and it didn't appear to matter if the food was fragile or not the only concern of the member of staff was to find if we had (stolen) ((because that was how we were made to feel)) anything else.I also noted the security guard had not intervened but had moved closer so he was between us and the exit,coincidence maybe but i certainly wasn't going to run through him with my bag of doughnuts..Anyway after being embarrassed for about half an hour we were finally told everything was in order and we could proceed to pay for our shopping but before we did this i heard the member of staff mumbled something to my wife which i didn't quite hear but here comes the money shot,,,,,,,,,They said "oh it was my mistake the doughnuts had been scanned after all ".Its probably a good job i didn't hear as i was seriously pissed off by this point as you can imagine.Suffice to say i will NEVER use a scanner in Blue Boar Tesco again and just be warned if you make a mistake and miss an item or the staff member makes a mistake you are going to have to stand there and be made to feel like a shoplifter even if you are as straight as the day is long like myself...PS If Tesco dispute my version im sure the cameras would have been watching and i have the till receipt with the doughnuts on it to prove my story is true.

The produce section is quite large and very fresh, the grocery sections have tons and tons of choices, ranging from Tesco generics as well as many different flavors of name brands, the frozen section is three aisles of freezers and bunkers. Very large parking lot with an easy to access petrol ("gas" in American) station at the perimeter. Prices are quite competitive with Asda and Morrison's and I think are also lower than Waitrose. Many tills ("registers") are always open and I've not seen more than one or two people waiting, even at the busy times. There are also two groups of self-service checkouts. All told, a positive shopping experience.

There's a good vegetable section although if you know what you're cooking in advance some of those ingredients can be found cheaper elsewhere (most of the major supermarkets sell mooli (long white radish) and fresh ginger nowadays). If you're someone who's careful about best before dates then it's worth checking them first on some products here as they can sometimes be a bit close.

The clothes here are usually quite nice, and there is usually a sales rack. I have enjoyed browsing the rails for bargains. However, the food shopping i have found very difficult. It is near impossible to find your way to the items you want. Most trips I have got frustrated halfway around and returned home with only half the items that I want. They do not seem to stock as wide a variety of brands as other supermarkets i have frequented. All in all, worth a visit, and i'm sure that if you visit several times and persevere with the food shopping then you would be able to find your way around.
