My heart becomes sad everytime I see a new Sainsbury's Local or Tesco Metro opening on a high street. Not content with destroying businesses in town centres with their giant convenient one-stop out of town giant supermarkets, they're now apparently not content with that and are now vying to compete directly with small and medium shops on the high street itself.
