A doctor friend of mine recommended a surgeon to me that works out of the Morris County Surgical Center and after today I don't know if I'd want to go anywhere else. I was the first on the board this morning so I arrived at 6:30am to a smiling and friendly nurse/receptionist who was very helpful. I was brought to the back where I was taken care of by Elaine, who was very caring and kept me at ease (her British accent was calming). As more people started coming in and milling about I realized that these nurses were awesome and cared about making me feel confident. When I was brought into the ER by my two ER nurses (sorry ladies, I simply cannot remember your names) they, and the Anesthesiologist, quickly got me situated and comfortable and were saying good night. The next thing I remember was waking up in the recovery room with nurse Laura and Dr. Simon talking to me. I've been under the knife six times now and I have never had a better experience than today. The nurses, the doctors, the recovery room...I felt at ease the whole time, from start to finish. This is the first time I came out of anesthesia without the shakes or feeling nauseous. I can't say enough about how great this went. Now I hope my recovery goes as well.

During that time, I…read morereceived multiple treatments, including Botox, fillers, laser treatments, facials, and weekly weight-loss injections. I always paid for my treatments in advance and trusted the staff enough to have charges placed on my CareCredit account and simply receive my receipt afterward. Unfortunately, my experience has changed significantly. I was first contacted about a $5 charge for a treatment box that no one had informed me needed to be returned. Had I been told there was a return policy, I would have gladly brought it back. Instead, I felt like I was being blamed for something that was never explained. I also experienced confusion regarding my prepaid weight-loss injections. Before picking up my injection, I confirmed with Amy that I was receiving my last prepaid dose and that I would need to pay only if I decided to continue the following week. However, when I arrived, the front desk insisted that I needed to pay again. Even after I explained that I had already prepaid and that this had been confirmed, I continued to be questioned. As a loyal customer, I found this frustrating and unnecessary. The final disappointment came when the owner called me and said the front desk staff felt uncomfortable with what I had said. I explained that I was the one who felt uncomfortable because I had repeatedly been put in situations where I had to defend myself over issues involving communication and payments. Rather than acknowledging my concerns, I was told that my remaining laser session would simply be refunded. The issue has never been about $5 or paying for services. I have always paid for my treatments. The issue is the lack of communication, inconsistent information, and the way I was treated as a long-term customer. I expected a luxury med spa to provide professionalism, respect, and excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have not reflected those standards.

My skin was dry, lacked volume, moisture, etc. I made an appointment to get a hydrafacial with Kristen and immediately fell in love. The spa is gorgeous. It has a nice warm feel to it as you walk in. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Kristen is literally beautiful inside and out. She makes sure you are comfortable and ensures you have the most amazing spa experience. The table is soooooo comfortable and warm. The room is so peaceful and relaxing. Not only did I leave there super relaxed, but my skin was glowing! Kristen doesn't try to push anything on you. She's honest and that is the most amazing feeling in the world! Kristen followed up that evening by checking on me. I mean, talk about great customer service! Needless to say, I went back for my second appointment and she was just as wonderful. In less than a month's time, my skin did a total 180. My skin is flowing and feels so smooth. Definitely has some more work to do but I'm confident my skin will look it's absolute best with Kristen's help! I am definitely going to be a regular at the Montville Medspa. Thank you Kristen for the most amazing experience and facials!

I also do not put up…read moreany doctors who feel my time is not important -- that and a "god complex" (complete with the old days when the sexy Pharma rep got to meet with the doc even though I'd been waiting 30 minutes already AND condescending speak) means I refuse to deal with that office. I have had to tell too many doctor (back in the 1980s and '90s) that *I* pay their salary, whether it is via insurance or not, and I am not paying them to be treated poorly. My time is JUST as important at theirs. Enter Changebridge. I have never had to wait, they have called me if an appointment could not happen or had an incredible wait (very, very infrequently, but it happens), I have never seen a pharmaceuticals rep in there ever (granted, it is no longer cricket for them to offer a free trip to Hawai'i any longer, but that's fine with me. My doctor is Dr. Frank Iannetta, and he has been so for the time I have gone there. I love him; he took a lot of time to learn about adult-onset muscular dystrophy (DM Type II), always offers advice, looks into any question I have, not religious and always has a laugh with me over so many different issues outside of medicine. He listens, chats, but is serious and totally qualified to help with anything. Another excellent quality is that Changebridge has relationships with so many other types of specialty medical practices that I have gotten audiology, podiatry, cardiac, pain management and so many other kinds of help. I take almost no medications (the list is 6 now, not 10 and far less than the amounts I've been on). I also go to PT three times a week, and I feel just INCREDIBLE! I go primarily to Dr. Iannetta, but any doctor there is just wonderful. My husband and I both go; he really likes to go to Dr. Pallay, who is very medically knowledgeable, but he is focused on the medicine and not a "chat" kind of doc; I love Dr. Iannetta because he is the exact opposite. Both kinds as well as everyone in-between is right for many patients. None of the doctor or nurses are any the less gifted in medicine. I know all the staff (for the most part) and speak to them all with delight. I enjoy every person there. They all bring something special to the experience. They do a lot for any patient. I cannot recommend them enough. I would not even know where to begin with how much they have done for me over...I think more than 30 years. We have lived in Parsippany now for 32 years. Before that in Fairfield, so really, I don't know. But I am deliriously happy with every visit there. You will be, too.

I think what actually brought me here the first time was when I decided "I haven't had a physical in awhile. I should go get one." and looked around for doctors. I discovered that nowadays, you're hard-pressed to find individual doctors, so I went for the clinic, and CMA seemed to have good reviews. Since then, I've had a few physicals, gone in a few times with illnesses. Every time, I have been treated well, promptly, curing whatever I came in with and helping with whatever they find. So like today? Just the physical? They reassured me most of my vitals were fine, pointed to the one that was a little out of whack, and presented suggestions for how to fix it. Sat patiently with me to discuss until we were on the same page. VERY friendly and thorough. And that even goes to the desk staff. I have never had a bad experience with any person at CMA, never had a misdiagnosis or the wrong meds. Nothing. OK, a couple of times I got a charge for the blood work they did, but this time I think we've learned, tell them up front it's diagnostic and not preventative. Again, even the separate-building blood lab (which I think moved into a new, larger space) is friendly and helpful. #CMA4EVA

In conversations before the bris, I knew that my friend was nervous about the process, the ceremony, and the actual circumcision. I can say with confidence that Dr. Rumbak put the family's mind at ease both with her expertise and her gentle approach. As a "spectator" at the ceremony, Dr. Rumbak passed around sheets so we can all follow along and feel part of the ceremony, and explained what different blessings meant. She also added some Jewish text in a modern and relevant way, which I appreciated, and my family continued to discuss post ceremony. The sweet baby did super well and was calm throughout the entire process. Truthfully, I didn't even know when the actual circumcision actually happened because she was so gentle and discrete. At the end of the ceremony, many people went up to Dr. Rumbak to compliment her on one of the best brit mila's they ever went to, and many asked for her card (including my mom for our temple!). She has a great business partner in Shachar, who socialized with the guests of the ceremony, kept everything organized, and was just an all around stand up guy. Oh, and how great that she is a mohel AND a doctor. Talk about putting your mind at ease..that will definitely do it. Highly recommend.

Would have loved so much to give a glowing review of Dr. Rumbak but unfortunately we look back on…read morethe day of my son's bris and what transpired after with a lot of sadness. Dr. Rumbak deserves credit and thanks for her discretion in not circumcising our son the day of his bris due to a urological condition she noticed in her ore-ceremony examination. We are thankful for that. She performed what essentially worked out to a baby naming ceremony for us. Obviously the day was emotional to begin with and the news she couldn't circumcise was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking since this was a day we looked forward to for so long. In the days after the bris we were able to absorb the events better and realized exactly what happened. To begin with, my wife asked for a program to keep as they were being collected (yes, collected), and the response was, "I collect them." She said the same to my mom (baby's grandma). We consider this ridiculous - even if the baby's grandparents couldn't have one, at least the parents should. When I emailed Dr. Rumbak about the issue I'm about to describe, I also mentioned the program and that part of my email was left unaddressed. Here's the major problem, though. We paid $800 for a circumcision plus $150 for travel from Manhattan to Nassau. We were happy to do this because we really liked Dr. Rumbak on the phone. However, after the bris, we had a bit of a realization that really irked us. Why were we never offered any kind of refund for the circumcision not being performed? It really should have been offered that day, on the spot, but it wasn't. Days and weeks turned to months and we still were never offered anything. We didn't even get an email or phone call to check on our son given the medical issue Dr. Rumbak identified. This was surprising given the emotional nature of the day but also because part of Dr. Rumbak's service (advertised on her web site and vouched for in her reviews) is her frequent follow up with the family. Finally after a few months, I emailed her explaining we feel we are owed some kind of refund due to the most critical part of the ceremony, the circumcision, not being performed. It is that expertise for which we paid. Dr. Rumbak issued a $200 refund, saying that the rate for a baby naming is $600. It's unfortunate such a beautiful day was soured by the experience we had. As new parents we feel we were, in a way, taken advantage of. Dr. Rumbak did ultimately give some money back, but we feel we shouldn't have had to ask. Experiences like this are what make people cynical about organized religion. The right thing to do would have been to give us a refund without us having to ask. We would not recommend her.
