I found the celebrant to be comforting and uplifting. The cantor sung beautifully and it was a sad, solemn occasion. My Uncle attended here regularly. It was only fitting that his funeral mass be celebrated here. The major drawback is the location. There is. Nowhere. To. Park. I ended up parking at the church across the street and hoping I wasn't going to be towed away. Thankfully I wasn't.

His heart seems to be one that demonstrates the Love of Jesus. The people in the congregation echo that same Love to each other and to visitors alkie. I know there are other churches in the area that exhibit this same Love because Jesus is alive and living through them. So, my experience is that this is an excellent choice and one worthy of being a place to call my Spiritual home

My friend had her wedding here and it's a good thing we had one big bus to get the party to the church. They are so popular that we didn't have time after the wedding ceremony to take pictures inside the church or outside much because they had a service scheduled :-( It's okay though, we went to the monuments and got nice pictures.

Here you will find the tabernacle where it should be front and center as you walk down the aisle and you'll find a crucified Jesus on the cross behind the altar. In addition to it being a beautiful church the priest that said mass was well spoken and offered a beautiful Sunday mass. I am looking forward to becoming a parishoner at this church as we are new to this town and have been church shopping for just this kind of a parish

Walking down the center aisle I expect to find the Tabernacle front & center, sadly thats not the case here. The seating for the priest takes high ground front & center, Less important Jesus and Tabernacle are off to the side. Walking into the church, there is not even a Crucifix visible. It was carried down by an alter girl before the priest at the start of Mass. I will try to find a parish that puts Jesus front and center as he should be.

Calvary Chapel in Delta Pa is a wonderful church. I have been going…read more for 10 yrs. or more now and love it. Pastor Doug teaches word by word from the bible. When you are not a book person, this really helps you to understand the bible. The people at Calvary are down to earth, and easy to talk to. They have many different events throughout the year for adults and children including childcare for every Sunday service. Calvary Chapel has a program called the Delta Pregnancy program. This program helps all women in their walk with God while they are questioning their pregnancy. What truly makes a good church is the Pastor. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Pastor Doug. He truly cares about his church family. I am so grateful that Pastor Doug baptized my granddaughter when she turned 9. He made sure she understood what her baptism meant. My grand daughter true likes Pastor Doug. His 5 children were all home schooled and he married each one of them. I feel Pastor Doug and his wife are truly Blessed.

A sign of a healthy church is a church where you have people of all ages that are engaged and interested in the mission of Christ, and one can find that here. As a more mature Christian, sometimes it can be hard to find a church where the messages offer practical encouragement in my faith, but the sermons here are a great balance of things that are applicable to new believers and old believers alike. People are also very welcoming and accommodating (as it should be in any good church). If you have questions or concerns, you can talk directly to the pastor as well after the service; he's a great guy. Altogether, this is everything I could ask for in a church, and the messages are inclusive and compelling while not bending to the widespread dilution of Christian ideals we see in today's culture.
