My family visited this church while we were on vacation in Pismo Beach. The message was biblical…read moreand the music was from the last 10 years. I'm told the church has about 2000 people per weekend counting their online attendance. A long time pastor passed away and the lead pastor now has been there for 7 years. They were friendly folks. The best part was that in addition to the fact that Jesus died for my sins, I also got this free coffee mug. It's an especially sturdy mug with a rounded bottom and nice color. It feels really secure in my hand, and my guess is that it spills less coffee on average than the mugs they have at other churches. As I walked across town, I could feel people's envious stares as they drank from their sad styrofoam cups. I took it right to Red Bee Coffee and told them about the mug and asked them to put a Hawaiian latte in it, and you know what? They did. So that's three great things today - atonement, latte, and most of all my new free coffee mug. Five stars. Would get saved again.

It's a small church which I like because you get to know everyone and the sincerity and openness of its parishioners is awesome . The minister , Reverend Bob is terrific . His sermons are very relevant and meaningful . After service we get together , talk and have coffee and snacks . The church is all inclusive and everyone is welcome , that's the best aspect of this church .

I've listened to over 80 sermons, and not once has there been a clear gospel presentation. What I did hear is teaching on Lectio Devina, a Roman Catholic mystical practice(contemplative prayer/divination). I also heard man centered moralistic-therapuetic-deism. They believe that "all men are worthy of God's grace".....this is heresy and blasphemous. The book of Romans lays this out specifically. I do not recommend this.....I don't know what to call it.....self esteem/self help country club? I do not recommend the, I don't know what to call him......new age guru, motivational speaker, ego messager, naval gazer? All would be applicable, because he is not a pastor, according to Titus 1. For he is disqualified.

There is NO pretending here. The people are real and friendly. You can be yourself with these people. Pastor Mark, well sheesh, what can I say... The man is a modern day prophet. He is a refreshing blend of knowledge tempered by humility. In this PC era we live in, most pastors avoid anything controversial. Pastor Mark has a gift of handling the tough topics, givin-it-to-people-straight, yet doing so with love and kindness. Every message seems like it is meant for me, haha. He is a true blessing and a gem to the Central Coast!
