Saint Paul's is my parish and has been for over half a century,I was baptised and make my first conformation here, phew that seems a long time ago but I do remember making my confirmation when I was six my two sons made theirs at this parish also.
The diocese of Saint Paul has stood on the same ground since 1850 and the present church was built in 1957. This is a beautiful place to go for reflection
and you are always made welcome by the parish priest, now I don't know if its just me but places like these make me sad and happy sometimes at the same time ( strange but true ) this parish is one of the best attended in the east end of Glasgow and is certainly one of the richest in the diocese compared to a couple just up the road. The interior of this chapel is superb and is in the 'baroc' style and has not changed since I was a child, all in all this is a fantastic place to visit so if your in the area pop in and say hello read more
