This is the most sorry excuse of a store I have ever stepped foot into. First and foremost when you google this shithole it says they close at 9pm. You call the number and the automated system says 9pm. I came here at 7:50 2/19 thinking they close at 9pm. They let me walk in and never said "we are closing" "you only have 10 mins" it's like they just avoided me. I only went to exchange sunglasses so that's all I looked at. I finally approach someone to unlock the sunglasses and she said they are closed and the registers are off. Today is 2/24 and I arrive here again promptly at 7pm. It took me 5 mins to get out my car bc my toddler was sleeping. When I approached the door it was LOCKED. I called the store and they told me they were closing at 7pm today despite the website and automated system saying otherwise. I am extremely disgusted with this location and after I return this item I'm washing my hands with SAKS altogether. Let's not forget my commute was just 2 hours. & I would rate this place 0 stars. read more

OMG... what a pigsty. dec 28th and the place beyond a disaster. Designer clothes security tagged together and all twisted up crazy. Clothes on floor and trampled. Scarves all jumbled up together - hard to look at anything. Nothing put away and tidied. Why would you want to buy something when everything around it is jumbled or on the floor - makes you think that what you want was once on the floor too. Only items still neat and nice - bags and jewelry and sunglasses. Everything else a complete mess. Takes no time to tidy up for your customers. Manager is rude, customer service is awful!! I bought a pair of sunglasses. They had trouble getting the security tag off so cashier handed it to another cashier. She also fought with it and started using so much force that everything went flying. I got home and realized she broke the sunglasses trying to take off the security tag. Drove back almost an hour to exchange and the woman refused because it was damaged, but *they damaged it*. She was incredibly rude and accusatory basically saying it was my responsibility to inspect the goods AFTER I handed it to cashier. She told me they were going to "check the video" and call me. Two weeks later no call. I ended up having to protest the charge with credit card company. Awful, disappointing experience. Nothing luxury about it. read more

This Saks has a great selection of accessories. I love the earrings and sunglasses which ranged from balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Celine and Gucci. The store is a little unorganized making it hard to look through items. Also, there was no one present to unlock the watch display. The outlets closed at 9 but at 8:30 their doors were locked. I had to go through Saks to get to the parking lot where my car was. So I had to bang on the glass door and thankfully a customer unlocked the doors for me. read more

I've been shopping at Woodbury for many years and at this Saks location. I'm so sad to say that they have only gone down, down, down over the years. The layout of the store feels more like a Walmart than the outlet for a high-end department store. I honestly don't know how they have survived Covid. The management team here is also absolutely awful. Employees just stand around chatting with each other rather than helping customers. I've come here several times to see only 1-2 cash registers open with loads of people waiting in line while other employees are just standing around not doing anything. And it's not to say the regular Saks store is much better. I'm still waiting on just under $400 for a return I made last December that still hasn't been credited back to my credit card after about 15 calls and massive amounts of excuses. But I will give credit where credit is due. Some of the older employees are quite helpful and kind. They know and understand the business and what true customer service is. And because of them still being there, it warrants at least one star for Saks getting one thing right. It's just too bad they seem to be failing in every other area. read more

Had two items. Asked to skip the line at 8 months pregnant because the AC is barely working and I am starting to swell and sweat. The employee looked at me up and down and said no. Beyond rude. My local Saks would never be so rude. He said people people complain and it doesn't matter if it's a safety issue. How do you not have the AC circulating, 3 people on register, and acknowledge that safety isn't a priority over people complaining when I'm obviously pregnant. So Saks 5th Ave continues it's aggressive and inevitable march into the proverbial crapper with this abysmal excuse for a retail store. It used to have a slight resemblance to its much more upscale cousin but that was demolished with the recent "renovation." I looked up the word "renovation" and discovered that it meant to reinvigorate; refresh; revive. Hmmmm. What they did was essentially gut the store's infrastructure and replace it with a bunch of racks haphazardly and seemingly randomly arranged, making it more akin to a Marshall's or TJ Maxx. It's like a big warehouse without the organization. Now, I'm sure that somewhere in the plethora of clothing there are things that are worthwhile to buy. Hell, there may even be a bargain or an incredible bargain buried somewhere. The problem is that you need to wade through so much crap, very little of which has actually seen the inside of a real Saks 5th Ave, to find it. And by that time you're either too frustrated or exhausted to be able to recognize it. This store is a mess. It amazes me that Saks would dilute their name to the point that they would brand such an abomination. Of the upscale retailers who lend their names to their bastard step children, Off 5th is by far the worst. Nordstrom Rack, Bloomingdales and Last Call Neiman Marcus. while a far cry from their top shelf namesakes, at least aren't shitholes. Who thought this was a good idea? Sadly, I think that Saks will be going the way of I. Magnin and Bergdorf Goodman ending up with either a single store or going out of business completely. You can't continue to cheapen your brand and not expect a backlash from your core customer base. They put an Off 5th a mile or so away from their Hackensack, NJ store and guess which one survived? This is an odd store. All their outlets seem to be a little oddly organized. This one even more so. Maybe its the space they have, or the way they have configured it, I don't know. But I find it overwhelming to visit here. Love this location since it's a skip and a hop for me. [This review Is intended for the White Plains location]. Off 5th, replaced Loehmann's more than a year ago. I've found most of my items from here. But one thing that always gets me- it's how some racks are just bunched up so tight- you can barely get your hands through the hangers to separate each item. Even with that glitch right there, Customer service (to me) is good. I never had to hunt down a sales rep for my size 10 shoes, because everyone makes themselves noticed. Layout is pretty big but with so many racks it can become generous, just walking- this time- around the clothing racks is a tad tight. With that being said, Off 5th has a great selection of women clothing. Men's selection seems limited though. Like their prices. You still get quality clothing at a fraction of the cost. This store is a disaster. It looks like a bomb went off last year and they still haven't gotten around to cleaning up the mess. Clothes are haphazardly strewn everywhere and it is nearly impossible to locate a particular designer. Certainly this isn't Manhattan. Besides geographically knowing that I wasn't in Manhattan at all, the store is courteous enough to put "Off 5th" in it's name here to avoid confusion apparently. I would've just called it "Saks", but hey, it's not my company. Inside this store seemed to be a slightly modernized and darker version of the Illustra store in the 80's movie Mannequin. Certainly this doesn't look at all like the Manhattan version, even if this is just an "outlet" version. While I didn't purchase anything, some of the merchandise I did see seemed to be decently priced. Of course being a Saks, you'll find decent enough merchandise here depending on your tastes. Staff was non-existent, as I didn't see one employee that I can recall the entire time I was inside. Located in the Woodbury Commons Outlet Mall, it's worth a trip inside at least once. read more

I went in there looking for nothing specific and fell IN LOVE with a pair of clearance heels. I couldn't find my size so the staff member, Gabriella, scanned the shoes and saw that there was just one more in the store. She helped us look for a solid 15mins until we found them. Sadly they didn't fit. Gabriella recommend some similar styles though and I left with two pairs and a 20% discount for becoming a member. I just wanted to write a review regarding the cashier named Allyson who rang up my purchase this past weekend on 3/23/2019. I have visited this location several times but this cashiers above and beyond customer service skills were so wonderful I had to write a review. It would be great if all cashiers treated the customers with such care. It made me want to shop. This location has some Hi End Fashion Gems if you don't mind the trek up to the outlets. It's quite controversial for some things, but for outlet stores there is a consensus: BIGGER IS BETTER. And this Saks outlet is the biggest one I've been to in my life. There are four things that determine whether or not you'll get high quality luxury items at an outlet store. 1) The name - if you enter a luxury outlet store you'll find luxury goods 2) Size - the larger the store, the greater the chances of finding something you want. 3) Location - even if it's the same outlet, the location will determine the quality of the goods in the store. If the store is located in the state of NY vs. say Podonk, Nebraska, the chances are you'll find the better and higher end luxury goods. 4) Luck - you gotta get damn lucky b/c you have to find something that matches your taste, at the right price, and in the right size. Although you can't control for luck, this off 5th saks will maximize your chances of striking gold. Why? It's HUGE (size of an average department store) & is located in the most fashionable state in the US. They carry just about every selection imaginable for men and women. Armani, Kiton, Dolce and Gabbana, Ted Baker, Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, Max Mara, Brunello Cucinelli. It's like a Madison Avenue jumbled into one store. If I were to choose one place in Woodbury to go to this place would be it. It's significantly cheaper than the rest of the outlet stores b/c of their ongoing promotions, and they carry so many items and brands that you are bound to find something of interest. Some Woodbury Common stores are all about customer service and others are hit or miss. Saks Fifth Off 5th is one of those stores. Though the selection of items is ok, the check out lines can be long and it takes forever. We also had an experience here that will make me think twice about coming back again. We're on the line with three cashiers taking customers and we're next to check out. What do you know...when one cashier is done with her customer, she walks away. When the next cashier is done with his customer, he also walks away. So one cashier is left with a problem customer. As the clock ticked on, my friend went to get a manager, who was very apologetic and checked us out herself, but the damage had already been done. Unfortunately, this happens a lot to us 'non-blondes' at Woodbury Common stores (that was the 3rd time that day at other stores that cashiers just walked away when it was time to check us out). I'd like to think that it's just a coincidence, but it's a fairly common occurrence there. It's not all about the prices when it comes down to it...there's a lot to be said for treating folks like they aren't invisible.Thankfully, the internet can't see what we look like so I'd rather shop there than be subjected to this kind of treatment again. read more

Kind of a jumble of great deals and not-so-wel-constructed clothing, if you can dig through the stuff you don't want, you're bound to find a gem. We went to here to get a suit - Jack helped us out and was great. My fiance tried on multiple suit jackets and we ended up narrowing the best down to a specific brand/style/size. It was way easier than I thought it would be. We ended up buying two suits - even if they were Hugo Boss, they had been marked down 50% from their original price, and then were on sale for another 40% off. For serious. read more

Until we showed up on our last excursion to find the place completely rearranged to resemble a chaotic K-Mart. There were no more sections to speak of - just tight rows of racks crammed with clothes in no obvious order. Look around Woodbury and you'll see that its success lies in its stores' tasteful ambiance. Yes, you're getting a deal, but you're also having a good time perusing. Not only was she knowledgeable about suits, she was extremely helpful. Barbara checked the stockroom for the sizes that we needed. She went the extra mile to make sure we found what we wanted. No. Just don't. Hands down the most unorganized store I have ever entered in my entire life, I am not even exaggerating here. They have this really nice woman standing at the entrance greeting customers, so you immediately get the impression like this shopping experience is going to be a good one. THEN, you walk in and you are hit with this MESS of a store, clothes, bags, shoes, scarves, jewelry everywhere. I almost feel like that old TV show, supermarket sweep just occurred in this store, where four contestants had a certain time limit to fly through the store and find certain items, completely neglecting the cleanliness and orderliness of the store, because in the end if they checked off all of the items on their list they would win mad money. Well, turns out, there was no television show that took place here, it is just naturally a disaster and I wanted no part of it. You couldn't shop for anything specific if you wanted to. The jewelry was behind a counter; could you walk behind the counter? Was it off limits? It looked like the kind of counter where you needed to wait for someone to assist you...I was lost. In front of the jewelry counter were watches, half of the watches torn out of their cases and were missing, ones that were in their cases were tossed about without any level of organization. The hats and scarves were on the floor, purses which were supposed to be organized by designer were not in the right spots and WICKEDLY expensive. I took one look at the clothing section and was horrified I just had to walk out. Ditch the greeter, get someone to organize your store, IMO. read more

The organization of the store may make you crazy, and any time more than an hour after opening, the masses will have picked the shelves over so much it begins to look like a tornado hit. I used to really enjoy going to Saks Off Fifth at Woodbury Commons. Now it feels like TJ Maxx or Walmart. The latest 'renovation' has left so much to be desired. The store is in utter chaos and looks just awful. Not only is it completely disorganized, but shopping here leaves you feeling grimy and you just want to go home to take a bath. Not to mention the employees who are completely lackluster and have zero personality. They seem to have hired an entire new crew who doesn't care to service you and will leave customers waiting in their TJ Maxx line for quite a while before bothering to open a new register. I've always been a devoted Saks fan, of both the flagship in the city and the outlet at Woodbury, but am now thinking of moving my loyalty elsewhere. I tried to buy a pair of HUGO BOSS shoes at the Woodbury outlet in the Saks Fifth Aveneu shop. First there was absolutly no service. We had to crawl on the floor, to finde the right size. 30 min. nobody asked us, if the can support. And personel was there. Then when we came to the check out, the did not want to accept a seperate discount from Mastercard, even they were advertising with it! I called the supervisor, but there was no interest in the customer. I left the shoes there and- honestly to my surprise- bought them 40$ cheaper directly at the HUGO BOSS outlet in Woodbury! So for me its not Saks but sucks Fifth Avenue! read more

Used to be a loyal customer. Used to have an associate call me whenever items I liked would arrive...don't know what type on management the store is currently under, but it is extremely poor. If you want to shop at an Off Fifth that provides excellent service stick to online THAT way you are servicing yourself. Or go to White Plains. This store doesn't service any customers and almost every associate I interacted with was completely rude and seemed miserable to be at their job.Maybe they need to be reminded what their job is. I really shouldn't give any starts cause this place is absolutely trash!!!!!! The service is horrible and don't get me started on the cashiers! I was waiting in line. Mind you I was the only customer and I didn't get asked if I was waiting or being helped. Then when I was finally recognized they girl who was ringing me out was having a full blown conversation about her personal life! Who does that!!!!!!!!! Before you guys hire people please do some good training. Because that was very unacceptable and I didn't appreciate the language that was being used. Secondly the store was trashed and the fitting room was even worse.... Wasn't even the weekend more like a Tuesday asked for a manager and she took 20mins to come from wherever she was at.....
