It's quite difficult to find good sushi places in Bremen. The Sakura, in my opinion, is one of the better ones (and one of the cheapest). I personally can recommend the all you can eat offer during the day. The variety is good and it's not only sushi you can choose from. From Monday-Friday (12 - 2.30 pm) you merely pay 10,50 EUR and Monday-Friday + Sunday (5.30 - 10.30pm) you pay 15,50EUR. The quality is good and I recommend to reserve seats if you plan a visit in the evening. It's also a good idea to arive early so you can take your time enjoying the Japanese specialties. read more

Sakura is probably the best Sushi place you can find in Bremen. And you only have to pay around 16 euros to have as many sushis as you want. The Jasmine tee is also particularly great, which I always oder when I go there. In short, this is a genuine Japanese Sushi bar that satisfies me, who has a rather picky taste like most Asian guys:). read more

A typical sushi-bar in Bremen central. I'm not a experienced sushi-eater, but even for my picky taste there is a wide range of tasty food. The 'all you can eat'-offer is a good quality at that price, but when there are only a few people in the restaurant, the service won't put that much stuff on the conveyor band. But if you ask for a special wish you'll get it nevertheless. A bit distracting are the messy facilities. read more

It was a well balanced combo of clearly homemade mango purée, green tea ice and roasted nuts - it was a nice finish :) While the cappuccino was not as good as in a great coffee house, it was solid above average :) Also the open kitchen where you could see the people working there liked working together, joking, smiling - I love a restaurant with a open kitchen !

After reading all the good reviews in both English and German, I went to the all-you-can-eat on a Sunday night and was extremely disappointed. The all-you-can-eat is only available by the sushi bar conveyor belt in the middle of the restaurant and the sushi selection consisted of all 'western style' rolls with the seaweed wrapped on the inside. I wasn't expecting authentic in Bremen (the place is run by Vietnamese) but they could've at least gotten some more regular 'maki' or rolls in the rotation and the attempt at 'onigiri' was laughable (they were basically 2 blocks of rice, sandwiching a tiny piece of mangled fish). To be honest, I could've rolled better rolls myself. My real question and complaint was: where's the fish?? The rolls for the all-you-can-eat were about 80% rice and 15% cheap veggie filling and 5% fish. Eventually some traditional 'nigiri' showed up on the conveyor belt but were made of only cheap thinly sliced salmon. What's a sushi restaurant with no tuna or yellowtail or even some shrimps? Was it too expensive for the cheap owner to put some out there? I can't really recommend this place at all, the owner's dirty money-making scheme by filling the stomachs of unbeknownst German customers with so much rice is absolutely terrible. If I do come back, I will be ordering a-la-carteor rather just spend the money at any of the Sushi Factories in the city, which are way better. read more

hallo, ich war vor kurzen dort mit meiner freundin essen! wir waren an einem Mittwoch-Abend zu Normal-Preis-Sushi (15,50 EUR) im sakura essen. Es war einiges los in dem kleinen Raum, aber wir haben auch ohne Reservierung zu 2 noch ein platz bekommen :) glück gehabt hehe Für meine Sushi-Kenntnisse war im sakura alles prima. Es gab abwechslungsreiches Sushi und zwischendurch auch anderes Leckeres Nigri-Sushi gabs oft genung, das war mein Favorit. Für den Abschluss kam auch mal gebackene Banane, meiner Meinung nach alles recht ausgewogen. Bedient wurden wir sehr freundlich und die leeren Tellerchen wurden ebenfalls rasch abgeräumt, damit wieder neues gestapelt werden konnte. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis finde ich klasse, da geh ich gerne wieder hin. read more

Also, ich war vor 2 Monaten das erste Mal in der Sakura Sushi Bar und war sofort wirklich begeistert. Die Preise sind wirklich gut für die Qualität und den Geschmack, den man bekommt. Das Ambiente ist echt toll, man sitzt am Fließband und kann sich inspirieren lassen. Das Mittagsbuffet ist wirklich zu empfehlen, für 10,50 EUR kann man nix falsch machen.Abendbuffet ist der Hammer und kostet nur 15,50 EUR. Die Auswahl ist fantastsisch es gibt jede Menge verschiedene Sushi Sorten / Arten ! sehr empfehlenswert!! Leider war es letztens so voll, dass wir keinen Platz mehr bekommen haben - aber das zeigt wohl von Qualität und zufriedenen Gästen.Deshalb sollte man vorher reservieren. read more

Ich liebe diesen Laden!!! Ich gehe dort schon Jahre hin und es gab noch nicht einen Tag , wo ich das Gegenteil behaupten würde!!! Das Essen ist Super frisch!! Die Bedienung ist sehr nett! Der Laden ansich ist nicht besonders schön und auch die Toiletten könnten mal ein Styling gebrauchen, aber da das essen soooo lecker ist.sollte mir der Rest egal sein! Leute die behaupten, dass das Essen qualitativ schlecht istganz ehrlich, die machen sich nur wichtig und meinen, dass sie Sushi Experten sind! Ich möchte gerne einmal gezeigt bekommen, was an dem essen nicht ok ist! Ich fahre dort sogar ganz aus Cloppenburg hinund von 100 Besuchenwaren 100 auch 1A!!! read more

Hello ! I have just come back from Sakura Sushi Bar. And In my opinion, it's one of the best Japanese Restaurant that I have ever eaten in Bremen. Good price (only 10,50 eu in noon) , fresh food, great service. You can find lots of traditional Japanese meals in this Restaurant : Sushi, Japanese noodles or Sake. If you want to know about one of the most delicious Sushi dish, I think you shoud try eating Tempura Maki ^^. read more

Hallo zusammen, ich habe schon oefter bei Sakura gegessen und mir hat es bis jetzt immer sehr gut gefallen. Man sollte nur nicht zu spaet kommen sonst findet sich nur noch sehr wenig Abwechslung auf den Baendern. Bei einem Preis von 10 Euro fuer all you can eat aber kein Wunder! read more

Das Sushi im Sakura ist wirklich nichts besonderes. Der verarbeitete Fisch ist nicht sehr frisch und auch die Rollen an sich passen geschmacklich nicht besonders gut zusammen. Der Service ist freundlich, aber aufgrund des Essens kann ich hier leider nur 2 von 5 Sternen vergeben. read more
