Great place for the hungry. It is inside the shopping center. We took buffet, which was tasty and with nice selection. Cost effective.

Because there is not a large crowd this time of year I assume they have a limited menu of items. That being said, what is prepared is usually well done. We ate here one night while staying at the Ramada down the street. When we walked in, I noticed…read morethere were a lot of people eating here- a good sign. My wife and I both ordered something off the menu, along with an appetizer of egg rolls, but I have to imagine the main draw here is their Mongolian barbecue. For those not familiar with it, in Mongolian BBQ, you select raw meats and veggies from a buffet then give them to someone who cooks them for you. I never thought I'd see a Mongolian bbq in Europe, as it's not easy to find, even in the US. Anyway, at this one, you select your ingredients then put a clip on your plate or something. Based on the color of the clip, the chef will give your dish a different flavor - Mongolian, Chinese, Korean, etc. It looked pretty good and was probably worth trying but like I said, we ordered off the menu. The Mongolian BBQ was €17. So we got one order of egg rolls. We received a plate with 6 small egg rolls, a generous portion of dipping sauce, and some kind of Asian slaw. The egg rolls were good. I ordered the 3 meats with veggies (A18), and it was great. It had chicken and beef (I guess the third meat was pork) along with peppers, mushrooms, peanuts and zucchini. It also came with the Asian slaw. My wife got chicken lo mein (#36), and it was good though she did find it greasy; she also got some Asian slaw. We both got generous portion sizes and were happy with this place. Our bill for the 2 entrees, an appetizer, a beer and a water came to about €34, which we found fair. If I were in the area again, I would eat here again.

We were surprised to find a decent Sushi place on the mountain. After 4 days of heavy burgers,…read moresteaks and greasy food, we were really craving for an authentic Japanese dishes. The restaurant has a retro vibe, the main room is small but with cool decorations. You don't really have a view of the mountain (there is only one small window, facing the street), but you won't need the view to kill time, i'm sure the food will grab all your attentions. The services were really friendly and they all spoke in fluent english, and don't worry if you can't pronounce crazy german words - there is an english menu for you. The food are not cheap, one nigiri is about 6 euro or more - and the rolls are about 15 euro+. However, i think it is acceptable in this kind of touristy place. I am from Taiwan, and traveled to japan more than 20 times. To be honest, we were worried about the quality of the sushi at first since the european taste of Japanese food is really different than the real asian taste. But, the dishes were decent ! It was fusion and creative, but it doesn't lose the spirit and soul of authentic. The sashimi was sliced with the right angle with about 0.4 cm, and it was fresh. The rolls were fresh with a good twist of fusion sauce - you won't get tired of the taste even after 8 pieces. In general, i would totally recommend for you if you are craving some sushi or asian fusion dishes - the only note is that this place is not cheap and it would probably cost you around 70- 90 euros to have a full meal.

Though if you are hungry sit down and buckle up because the portions are big, home crafted and delicious. Zams is a very small place in Austria, and the Post-Gasthof Gemse (named after the cutest mountain goat you have ever seen) is one of the only authentic Austrian restaurants around. And it WILL be full. No reservations unless your party is a substantial number, so call, get an idea of a good time to go then just wait if you have to, there is enough to entertain you in the hallway that you wont even realize the time. Order a soup. They have all the Austrian specialties: Frittatensuppe, Knödelsuppe, Kurbis soup, all fabulous. Everyone was ordering the Schnitzel - nach Wiener Art - but I decided to try their house made Frischkasse with Schweinemedaillons and Polenta. Delicious. Everything we tried (all soups and Rinderfleisch, Schnitzel, und Schweinemedaillons) was very tasty. But because the portions were huge we had NO ROOM for dessert. That is something that rarely happens! Gemse is more than worth a visit. Make sure you read the history on the menu and enjoy imagining all the activity this house has seen.

They serve dinner around 8pm onwards so & lunch menu is from 3pm. You'll need to make reservations for dinner as it gets very busy. During lunch they have full bar available, small lunch menu and a DJ playing schlager music the entire time. Even on a Monday afternoon, the DJ was blasting those tunes loud and enthusiastically trying to get the crowd singing. Which usually occurs after afew drinks anyway. The menu is traditional Austrian, so get right into it because it is delicious and homemade style. For lunch we ordered currywurst, bbq spare ribs with garlic bread and ham crust. The dinner vibe was a little less disco Germanic music and more relaxed but buoyant and busy. I think we over ordered but ah well. We had crunchy winter salad, double boiled beef broth with fried cheese dumplings, classic bacon & onions flame tarte (ham crust), pork belly with sauerkraut and roasted potatoes and crispy skin boneless chicken leg with spinach "spätzle" and mushrooms. Honestly no bad dish, everything was top notch only problem was the food was so filling it was difficult to consume it all. Luckily we took our time and managed somewhat. The ambience of this restaurant is cool, Austrian, joyful and drinking. Definitely try some of the local Austrian beers. We enjoyed this place alot and definitely will return upon next visit. Recommended.
