Great place for the hungry. It is inside the shopping center. We took buffet, which was tasty and with nice selection. Cost effective.

After so much traditional food, I was very curious to try sushi in Innsbruck, and wow did this beat…read moremy expectations! We came on the early side and got the best seat in the house- a little nook with a huge window overlooking the main street. The sushi rolls were great, especially the California salmon roll (not actually a California roll as I know it, much better, came with torched salmon on top). The sashimi was very good, expensive but worth it. Note that there is no English menu, but you can figure out what's what. The dessert was really cool, we got the Sensei Art, which is an assortment of fruit, ice cream, and a Nutella sandwich, so good! Service was really attentive and the food was prompt.

Something easy like Saki, for Christ's sake should be easy. Tasted like saki vinegar. Aperol spritz were on point, the highlight of our sushi night. On a brighter note, if you're mental enough to come here, there's a pharmacy across the street to get your meds to put you in a better position to find another place to eat next go around. Ambience was ok, but I've had better sushi in their world countries. Too add more, the rice was garbage. I had to pick through it to find the tuna in my roll. Even though I speak pretty good german, I got things I never ordered, although they did correct it in the end. The scallops really opened my eyes to a new texture of seafood jerky. My jaw nearly broke trying to chew through them. I'd give this place negative stars if there were an option, but please save your euro's and stomach from this disaster

What I don't think is appropriate was allowing a dog to sit at a table in a restaurant. I observed a guest with her dog in her lap and tables are super close. After she was done we were seated at that table and I had to request the table be cleaned. The host which was also the cashier and server was nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed (understandably). Food was served quickly. I ordered pho and it wasn't hot it was warm to touch and broth didn't "cook" or "steam" added veggies. Portion size was decent. Flavor was okay. For the cost it definitely had room for more vegetables to be added. Water isn't free so make sure you bring or know before hand. Prices are reasonable. I saw lots of people ordering other things and they all looked and smelled delicious. Decor was super cute!

So much flavour, combined with a sweet chilli sauce that had a little kick and was a very nice lighter meal alternative. The spinach tuna roll was nice and simple. The crispy spring rolls were a very generous portion and came with a nice sauce and rice noodles. The sauce is quite sweet but we didn't mind that. The beef pho was very tasty. Again, a generous portion with lots of meat and toppings on the side. The dumplings were also really nice. If I hadn't been so full I definitely would have tried the mango sticky rice! It can be quite hard to get the server's attention at times. I also found the dragon crunch roll a tiny bit too salty (I think it was the crunch coating), otherwise this would be a 5 star review.

We were surprised to find a decent Sushi place on the mountain. After 4 days of heavy burgers,…read moresteaks and greasy food, we were really craving for an authentic Japanese dishes. The restaurant has a retro vibe, the main room is small but with cool decorations. You don't really have a view of the mountain (there is only one small window, facing the street), but you won't need the view to kill time, i'm sure the food will grab all your attentions. The services were really friendly and they all spoke in fluent english, and don't worry if you can't pronounce crazy german words - there is an english menu for you. The food are not cheap, one nigiri is about 6 euro or more - and the rolls are about 15 euro+. However, i think it is acceptable in this kind of touristy place. I am from Taiwan, and traveled to japan more than 20 times. To be honest, we were worried about the quality of the sushi at first since the european taste of Japanese food is really different than the real asian taste. But, the dishes were decent ! It was fusion and creative, but it doesn't lose the spirit and soul of authentic. The sashimi was sliced with the right angle with about 0.4 cm, and it was fresh. The rolls were fresh with a good twist of fusion sauce - you won't get tired of the taste even after 8 pieces. In general, i would totally recommend for you if you are craving some sushi or asian fusion dishes - the only note is that this place is not cheap and it would probably cost you around 70- 90 euros to have a full meal.

Zams is a very small place in Austria, and the Post-Gasthof Gemse (named after the cutest mountain goat you have ever seen) is one of the only authentic Austrian restaurants around. And it WILL be full. No reservations unless your party is a substantial number, so call, get an idea of a good time to go then just wait if you have to, there is enough to entertain you in the hallway that you wont even realize the time. Order a soup. They have all the Austrian specialties: Frittatensuppe, Knödelsuppe, Kurbis soup, all fabulous. Everyone was ordering the Schnitzel - nach Wiener Art - but I decided to try their house made Frischkasse with Schweinemedaillons and Polenta. Delicious. Everything we tried (all soups and Rinderfleisch, Schnitzel, und Schweinemedaillons) was very tasty. But because the portions were huge we had NO ROOM for dessert. That is something that rarely happens! Gemse is more than worth a visit. Make sure you read the history on the menu and enjoy imagining all the activity this house has seen.

They serve dinner around 8pm onwards so & lunch menu is from 3pm. You'll need to make reservations for dinner as it gets very busy. During lunch they have full bar available, small lunch menu and a DJ playing schlager music the entire time. Even on a Monday afternoon, the DJ was blasting those tunes loud and enthusiastically trying to get the crowd singing. Which usually occurs after afew drinks anyway. The menu is traditional Austrian, so get right into it because it is delicious and homemade style. For lunch we ordered currywurst, bbq spare ribs with garlic bread and ham crust. The dinner vibe was a little less disco Germanic music and more relaxed but buoyant and busy. I think we over ordered but ah well. We had crunchy winter salad, double boiled beef broth with fried cheese dumplings, classic bacon & onions flame tarte (ham crust), pork belly with sauerkraut and roasted potatoes and crispy skin boneless chicken leg with spinach "spätzle" and mushrooms. Honestly no bad dish, everything was top notch only problem was the food was so filling it was difficult to consume it all. Luckily we took our time and managed somewhat.
