I go to the drive thru healthy food restaurant often. They are always fast and have delicious and fresh food. The menu is simple. Breakfast burritos, salads, and wraps. Drinks lemonade and iced tea only come in one size. The salads are very good size often I have to save some for later. Today I went at lunchtime and the line was wrapped around the building I would say at least 20 cars. I was in and out in 15 minutes total. Amazing service and the cashier at the window was so thoughtful to offer my pup some water. I love this place, I have never been disappointed with service or food. I am vegetarian and I can get marinated tofu on any of the salads. I highly recommend the BBQ Ranch salad. I got an Arnold Palmer and the salad with tofu for about $10. My wife and I are amazed at the consistency we experience at every Salad and Go location we've visited, and this one is no exception. We've had yet to be deceived with their preparations and quality. Regardless of location we experience, their fresh, tasty, savory greens, veggies and ingredients that go into the servings have been top notch... how they do it, I don't know! Here's an opportunity to get some good things with variety. From Cobb, Greek, Caesar salads to vegie-based wraps and breakfast burritos, there's few, and far between places in the Valley that can give your ongoing and consistent offerings. The salad seems still relatively fresh for the most part. I did go to salad and go, and I felt like some more of the leaves were less fresh than before. I had some tomatoes in my salad, and they were smaller than before as well, but very cute. I also thought that the size of the sliced egg was adorable as well. When I went to salad and go recently, I felt like there was less salad in my container than usual. I am not sure if they are putting less salad in there but there was not as much salad dressing. I usually like to mix two of the salad dressings together because then there is a sweet and savory aspect to my salad. This location is always hopping! The drive thru line does move quickly, or you can order ahead on the app to pick up. Just be aware that the dining room never reopened after COVID, so there's a door at the back of the building labeled for online order pick up. There are a few parking spots back there too. There are directions on top of the container. Make sure to shake well and stir. There are tons of these shops around now. They are mostly small building. I have seen many cars in the drive through. The mozzarella cheese balls are small and cute. I don't eat the croutons. The croutons are not my thing. There is nothing wrong with the croutons. When I get carrots they are shredded small. The cabbage is also shredded small. I don't get that many small tomatoes. Usually I get about five of them. I also usually get the buffalo out regular chicken. The salad is very filling. read more

I know each location likely gets their prepped veg and ingredients from a commissary kitchen, because it's not feasible for each location to prepare their own ingredients. This has been an ongoing problem at several locations I've visited around the valley, including the location at 59th Ave and Union Hills which is close to my home. Is there no quality control at your main kitchen regarding the doneness of the ingredients you're sending to all your locations? This is basic food safety/quality stuff. If you're not ensuring the ingredients you send to each location are cooked adequately, you shouldn't be serving that food to customers. It can't take very long to have someone try the cooked product to make sure it's cooked well before sending it out the door. I've DMed the company about this but gotten no reply. I'm a salad and go junkie... just about every day or every other day but since COVID, I'm about 3x a week. I was caught completely off guard when I drove by a new location in Tempe was running some errands so I quickly made it a point to put in an order (online). The line, like so many is pretty long so I was glad that I thought ahead to place online and pickup. When I approach I drove around looking for the front counter, but no luck. Then I realized, you actually have to go inside to pick up your orders if you want to avoid the line. I wasn't tripping but it was different. a long corridor that leads to the window. My order was ready and I was set. If your plan to park, they have parking on the side near the door, but I would recommend parking just behind that in the spots that face east-west so you avoid the regular traffic moving through. The quality, speed, price ratio here is UNMATCHED. I literally come here 5 days a week. I can't make a healthier lunch for less money. I hit Salad and Go on my way to work every day. You can be there getting salad as early as 630 am. It's so convenient. It's like a life hack. They have $1 cold brew. On occasion I'll get coffee for my whole office and I'm a hero for like $9. Their juices and lime/lemonades are killer. Staff here is fantastic. They're consistently accurate and kind. They're fast and professional. They give good recommendations. Speaking of recommendations, the Cobb salad is a home run every time, the seasonal salads are usually my favorites, but the Thai with tofu is so good. It's a great way to cut down on your meat consumption. The only thing that dims their star even a little is their breakfast burritos. They're not great. They're fine. This recent visit I ordered a cobb steak wrap, and it literally was like empty. I barely had a drink since it was full with ice, and the person at the window didn't even give me a straw. Overall it seems like the staff couldn't be bothered to care about the food or the customers. If you're going to Salad and Go for the price I would skip this location, and if you care about customer service lol. *since this location is so inconsistent with their sizes. I'm so happy there's a salad and go closer to me now. On the weekends they've had longer lines but on the week days after 5pm it's been pretty quick. I love my Cobb salads with blue cheese dressing. Perfect lunch to make me feel full but not stuffed and it adds up to a little over $6 after taxes. I wasn't a big fan of their frozen strawberry lemonade, the one I got looked and tasted like they put a red kool aid packet in lemonade and it was icee like.
