Went for a late lunch with my wife. I made more or less a Caesar wrap with a few extra toppings. It was great! I was a huge fan or of the complimentary salted Pita chips. My wife made a build your own salad, which she liked as well. Her only recommendation would have been to ask for the dressing in the side. This place is absolutely terrible . The dressing I ordered was inedible and they refused to make it right.

I stopped in here while staying nearby for business. I looked on Yelp and found Salata and figured I'd give them a try. I was greeted when I entered and quickly ordered a regular salad. It comes in a large metal bowl (based on size of salad you want) and there are several choices of lettuce. I got spring mix with some kale. After my base I added a lot of toppings which all looked fresh. To name a few toppings I got: cubed beets, edemame, pea sprouts, garbanzo beans, broccoli, carrots, sun dried tomatoes, black olives and jalapeños. I know I missed a few in there as well. You'll find the protein section next, I'm mostly plant based so skipped that. I added some sun dried tomato dressing and a little bow tie pasta. It's then mixed to coat the salad with dressing thoroughly and either served in the bowl or in to go container. I found the salad was pretty tasty. The jalapeños were no joke which was nice as I like some heat. The service was good. I'll likely be back if I'm in the area again. read more

The food is always great, but when I went today I had the worst service I've ever had. A young girl helped me and not only did she seem like she hated her life (because who does when we're working. Let's be honest, but at least fake it!) but she literally did not listen to me AT ALL. She was more concerned about getting through it and mumbling under her breath than actually actively listening. If she had actually listened, she probably wouldn't have gotten my order wrong. Didn't say anything because I honestly didn't want to deal with her for another second of my life to be wasted in not listening. I always tip, even with bad service and this is the first time I didn't (not like she probably noticed cause she evidently didn't notice anything else). Anyways, salad is good but she suck's. I got herb marinated chicken as my protein and my dining partner got turkey. I love their prickly pear lemonade. Just the right tart and sweet. Staff was friendly and funny. First time here. Three stars could inch up if I came more often and got it dialed in, I think. Good selection of ingredients. Got chipotle shrimp for protein, but the presentation of proteins a little weak. Not super appetizing look but okay taste. One serving of dressing but wish I had done half of that or less. One of my favorite spots especially if you're eating healthy. Reasonable price for healthy eating. I typically get a wrap with the seafood mix chipotle ranch. This was my first time going to this location I was not impress with one of the staff members. She wasn't friendly and her customer service was not the best. I appreciate having this convenient and healthy option. My large size salad was about $10 + $3.50 ish to add chicken. The portion sizes are good with enough toppings, dressings, and protein choices to satisfy anyone's tastes. Your salad comes with a carb side. I chose the croissant which was a nice touch. I can't quite grant that fifth star as I've had other customize salad bar type meals at places like Mod pizza or Evergreen in other states that I believe are of a higher quality or better pricing. Wow they have such good ingredients ! This month is Mint special. Mine was with mint and lots of vegis n fruit with seafood and walnuts with ginger lime. Boy had large salad with the Asian chicken dressing. Day two we went to the movies and came here after. Yumm! Although I had to have soup I was freezing from the movie. I had the broccoli soup. My boyfriend was in the wedding and the rest of the party was having some sort of barbecue while they were getting ready but I wanted to keep it healthy. Small location downtown Ft.Worth in a great location for me to grab almost any day of the week as long as you get there early. Lunch crowd can cause quite a wait. Some days they seem to be short on help and it takes longer. Sometimes we sit and eat but I always get a to go box and split mine in half cause it's so big, it's two meals for me. We have season tickets at Bass Hall, and this is a regular stop prior to the show. It's always fast, fresh, healthy and conveniently located! I enjoy both the salads and the wraps, and have tried different proteins and dressing, and haven't disliked one yet. I'm not a fan of their healthy drink selections, but they also now have a soda dispenser - and I can always get water. Some salads just taste better! Whether it's that they toss and chop it so well, or the ingredients are just so fresh, it's just better than many salad places.
