The 40 min drive was totally worth it to see the falls and we had the best brunch here! Parking looked a bit tight but we got lucky... also pro-tip go to the bar area... we walked up with a kid without reservations and the dining room had a 2 hour wait BUT luckily we we were able to get seated at a great table by the bar without waiting.. Our waitress was so helpful and personable... she made for a nice experience. The food was excellent! My buddy ordered the big American breakfast and it's the most food I've ever seen at brunch! It came with overnight oats, pancakes, yogurt, meat, eggs and choice of drink... so wild! I ordered the pork shank benedict and wow! The croissant was a great base, pork done very well and the hollandaise was out of this world! And don't forget the biscuits!

    Gorgeous view of Snoqualmie Falls!

We came to the Salish Lodge to celebrate my birthday, and they made the entire experience feel truly special from start to finish. The atmosphere alone is relaxing, but the staff added an extra layer of warmth that really stood out. My fiancé did run into a bit of a challenge getting clear communication about getting a package set up before our arrival, but despite that, he was able to confirm the chocolate covered strawberries and rose petals just in time. Walking into the room and seeing everything set up so thoughtfully instantly made the night feel elevated and romantic! We also booked a couples massage, which was incredibly relaxing and probably one of the most calming experiences we've had. The therapists were professional, attentive, and created such a peaceful environment that we walked out feeling amazing. Dinner was absolutely delicious. They even surprised me with the cutest little birthday cake, which was such a sweet touch and made me feel celebrated. Both our waiter for dinner and our waitress for breakfast had the brightest personalities. They were upbeat, engaging, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Their energy made the experience feel personal and fun, not just routine service. Breakfast the next morning was equally amazing. And the local honey they drizzle over the biscuits? Incredible. The views, the ambiance, and the overall vibe of the lodge made it feel like a peaceful little escape from reality. Even though we only stayed one night, it felt incredibly special, relaxing, and memorable. Salish Lodge truly knows how to make an occasion feel meaningful, and I'd love to return and experience it all again.

My partner and I had just watched Twin Peaks and came to "The Great Northern" for massages at the spa to celebrate his birthday. We did the falls "hike" before our treatments. You can see the Twin Peaks main view if you walk about 5 minutes, but there is also a bigger loop around that takes about 15 down and 25 up. So we were outdoors for about an hour, and had to stop at the gift shop. They have coffee, ice cream, pastries, and tons of souvenirs. From the minute we entered the property itself, we really felt special. Staff is smiling, friendly, opens doors, and really welcomes you. The spa itself was so much more luxurious than I had imagined. The fluffy robes were so cozy, and the waiting room for treatment has complimentary yummy snacks (freeze dried strawberries, chocolate covered nuts/raisins, energy bites, pretzels, tea, etc.) while you wait. You can also order cocktails from their spa-cktail menu for a charge. Our massages were so relaxing. You get to choose aromatherapy, targeted areas, etc on the intake form. We were so relaxed that we wished we had booked longer sessions! Afterward, you can shower in their locker room area, which is a little small, but well-stocked with a blow dryer, disposable combs/razors, deodorant, etc. The shampoo and conditioner in the shower left my hair feeling so soft. The only complaint I have is that there were no large towels or washcloths; the only towels were hair-towel size. Also, the spa spray in the shower itself was empty. The women's had 3(?) showers but my partner said there was only 1 shower in the men's, so he didn't have time to wait to use it before our dinner reservation. I would love to come back sometime!

The highlight here for me is the staff! Everyone from the front desk associates, to the spa staff, restaurant staff, and especially the manager, Jackson, is amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The hotel is also certainly luxurious, and feels a world away from Seattle even though it's an easy drive to SEA and the surrounding larger cities. Snoqualomie Falls is breathtakingly gorgeous and Salish maximizes the views and natural beauty. Our room had the most amazing view, cozy bed, and double headed shower. The bath products smelled wonderful and the cleaning staff made sure our room was freshened up every day. The only negative for me was due to some weird "policies". Now, it could be because we booked online for the spa service and didn't book directly by calling that we were so surprised when we showed up for our spa treatments early to use the amenities and found they required a separate reservation. I have been to 20+ spas in many states and countries but have never run into that. Once again, the wonderful staff was accommodating and squeezed us into use the hot tub for 15 mins prior to our treatment. Unfortunately, that still left a sour taste in my mouth because we were unable to use the cold plunge (which is another separate reservation) and were not able to use the amenities after our treatments at all. This is just one example and we ran into this type of odd policy multiple times in our stay that took away from the "luxury" feel of the hotel.

Lovely place for sunset and dinner. My husband and I met our friends here and we enjoyed our dinner. Service was very attentive and the chef was great at accommodating dietary restrictions. Food was really tasty. Would definitely love to come back one day.

    Drinks in the soaking pools

For pretty much my entire adult life, staying at Salish Lodge has been on my PNW bucket list. My fiancé and I decided to nix gifts for Christmas for each other this year and take a trip instead and we decided on staying here! SO glad I finally got to experience this iconic hotel. We were in Snoqualmie killing time until check in, but we received a text that our room was ready early (complimentary to check in early if it's ready!) so we headed over. Valet is included in your stay and all of the attendants are super nice. Check-in was also a breeze, and we were also given the choice of NA hot apple cider, or spiked hot apple cider which was an awesome welcome. We had a river view king room with a balcony and it was absolutely gorgeous! Probably our favorite room we've ever stayed in. I wish we had more of a view of the falls, but it was still really pretty. Opening up our sliding glass door to listen to the falls was one of our favorite parts about the stay. The bed was also super comfy and we loved the added coziness from the fireplace. The shower was also HUGE with two separate rain shower heads. I also made us reservations for the soaking pool, which is only accessible for guests. It's $75 for two for an hour in the soaking pool, which I think is a fair price for how awesome the experience is. You're greeted at the front desk, and taken to a waiting lobby that's dimly lit with a warm fireplace. Super cozy! We were taken to our soaking pool right at our appointment time and we were pleasantly surprised at how BIG the pool was. There's either two or three pools (definitely two) and we felt that the distance and barriers between the separate pools made it feel very private and comfortable. There was complimentary NA drinks, but they give you a button to press where you can order alcoholic drinks to the pool. They were super quick with this service and the girl working was super nice. We didn't dine here because we wanted to check out a handful of other local businesses for meals, but it's on our list! We did try to order brunch via room service, but their site told us brunch orders were not available for room service at that time. Maybe next time! While staying at Salish is definitely a splurge, it's extremely worth it. It was one of our favorite stays that we've experienced together and I know we'll for sure come back in the future for a special occasion.

    Duck chilaquiles

I stayed here with my significant other for her birthday, and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. Our room was beautiful -- we had a balcony with a stunning view of the waterfall, and I swear the pillows gave me the best sleep I've ever had. We booked the couple's massages at the spa, and wow... absolutely worth it. So relaxing and just what we needed. After the massage, we didn't even want to leave the room -- we ordered breakfast in, and it was easily one of the best meals we've had anywhere. The duck chilaquiles were surprisingly the star of the show -- I was skeptical at first, but they ended up being the best chilaquiles we've ever tasted. The pancakes were great too! Everything exceeded our expectations -- the views, the room, the food, and the overall vibe. Customer service was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. This was truly a 10/10 mini-getaway, and we're already planning to make this a yearly tradition. Huge thank you to everyone at Salish Lodge & Spa for making our stay so relaxing and memorable. We can't wait to come back!

Took a drive and had brunch at Salish in the new dining room! Well worth the drive. Their coffee service is so fun and the pork shank eggs Benedict DELICIOUS!!! The new bar in the restaurant looks very cool and comfy. One of our favorite places.

This was the first of many taken of the falls, and happened to be my favorite.

I'm going to do my best by not giving this a really long review, but this was one of the most relaxing stays I've ever had. My first trip to the Pacific Northwest, I wasn't initially planning on going all out, but something told me to make the most of it since I didn't know when/if I'd return, so I took advantage. Booked two nights in the Spa Level Riverside Guest Room which takes up the top 4th floor of the lodge. This includes access to Club 268, which was located right next to the reception desk, check in was accessed by your room key. I figured with their consistent food and beverage options, this would actually save me on a couple of meals. Pulling up to the valet, they were friendly and informative with the process after hours when they left for the day which was something I needed to know as I like to go night driving. Check in with a new girl in training went smoothly, and if she needed information, she asked her co-worker who was also helpful. Warm cider was offered, and I had two cups it was that good (they had an alcoholic version as well). If you have anxiety, you might encounter this if you booked the top floor, as you are face to face with the spa reception desk where a receptionist as well as some therapists might be standing when you exit the elevator. It can be a little awkward at first, but eventually you should get used to it. Room was pretty much across from the elevator area but I didn't mind. The space was beautiful; the bathroom had lovely pendant lamps framing the mirror, and an illuminated light came on under the sink when you turned off the other bathroom lighting. This didn't shut off so I guess it's in case you needed to get up at night. Dual-showers in the large space, water pressure was okay. Television worked fine, and I enjoyed the fireplace. Desk was also useful, although I wish the chair was more comfortable. I'm used to watching tv from the desk at other hotels, however here the fireplace was in between so I had to go to the bed to watch instead. The two chairs were surprisingly comfortable, and there was a long bench area under the tv if you had extra guests. Gifts in the room was a nice leather luggage tag and a box of really good chocolates elegantly presented. There was also a balcony which I didn't spend a lot of time on, but I'd walk out every now and then to watch the water passing. Restaurant is under renovation, so they had 'The Attic' stand in for their restaurant for the time being, and the lounge was lively during their open hours right off the check-in area. I didn't eat here but the hostesses I spoke to were nice. Shop was close to the entrance, and they had a decent selection of local as well as whimsical items. The lighting fixtures throughout the property were beautiful. The property this place sits on is another reason I wanted to stay here. There are a lot of areas to walk, and one of my favorites was right on-site. Seeing the Snoqualmie Falls in person was very moving for me, and you could access different viewing levels which I took advantage of. I didn't get to walk the whole trail this time, but would love to on another visit. Can't think of much I would have changed about this trip, and I hope to return someday soon.

This was everything and more! Absolutely a must. The service was amazing and all the little extra touches are so appreciated and they are lovely. This was the best experience I ever had at a hotel. I am a Twin Peaks fan and the little nods to the show were incredibly sweet especially having a little personal Assistant named Cooper.... The gift shop was beautiful . Amanda-lee Seely Morton

Beautiful lodge, but restaurant host's rude and unfair treatment ruined the experience We stayed at Salish Lodge & Spa in July (13-14) to celebrate our anniversary. Everything about the lodge was lovely -- except the dinner experience at the restaurant, which left us feeling disrespected and angry. We are an East Asian couple, and we had an 8:00 PM reservation. Earlier that afternoon, we visited the restaurant in person and politely asked about a specific patio table for our celebration. The staff told us that seats aren't guaranteed but he will inform evening shift manager -- which we fully understood and respected. However, when we arrived at 8 PM for our reservation, we saw a white couple ahead of us -- walk-ins, no reservation -- being seated immediately... at the exact table we had requested earlier. We were asked to wait, and after about 10 minutes, the host led us to a different patio seat -- one with direct sunlight, right in front of the door, and no view. When we asked to switch to another nearby empty table, the host replied, "Someone is waiting for that table." That made no sense. We were told table assignments weren't possible -- so how could that table be "saved" for someone else? Let me be very clear: we are not upset about not getting that particular seat. We're upset because: 1. We were told no one could request specific tables, yet others clearly could. 2. We had a reservation and waited, while walk-ins were prioritized. 3. The host showed no professionalism, and treated us like we were being "difficult." 4. She threw the menus onto the table and said in the most dismissive, sarcastic tone: "Have a great dinner." It was shocking and completely inappropriate. It felt like we were being punished for simply asking to be treated fairly. There was no basic courtesy, let alone hospitality. This kind of inconsistent policy enforcement and rude behavior -- especially toward guests of color -- is unacceptable. I hope the management takes this seriously and trains their staff better. We came here for a celebration, but left with disappointment and resentment.

Blocking the pine/evergreen scent every way possible.

My first staycation here over a year ago was phenomenal - 5 stars (room/food/spa). After one of the most challenging periods of my life I decided to treat myself to a spa/book binge in bed weekend, but sadly this second experience was less than amazing. It's the weekend after Thanksgiving and all of the Christmas decor is up - it looks lovely but Salish decided to pump the HVAC vents full of a fake evergreen/pine scent that I'm severely allergic to. The ten minutes I spent in the lobby checking in were enough to leave me flushed/sneezing/itching, and the room was no better. I've literally never asked to move rooms in my life, but I called reception, explained the situation, and they moved me to a patio room so I could "keep the door open" for fresh air. Two challenges - 1) there's a public pathway outside that people walk on at all times of the day and 2) leaving the door open during late November is chilly. Yes, the fireplace helped but I couldn't turn on the in room heat because of the evergreen scent. Apparently I'm not the first one to have issues with the fake smell, as reception mentioned other guests had reactions as well. There's a Safeway 5 minutes away so I went and grabbed Benedryl/Zyrtec, but puffy eyes/itching for a whole spa weekend (even AFTER taking antihistamines) was a downer. At over $1000 for two nights, I won't be back during the holidays. I booked three spa appointments online - signature massage, facial and wrap. At the beginning of the massage I was asked what kind of pressure I like - I said hard/firm - and was surprised with an upcharge to a "deep tissue" massage when I checked out. If I wanted deep tissue I would have booked deep tissue, this was more for relaxation than anything else, and at the very least the therapist could have mentioned a price difference. Was the pressure good? Yes. Was it deep tissue? No. The facial and wrap were lovely - Jana is the best and I didn't feel pressured to buy all the things. I didn't say anything to the spa reception because I'd already had to move rooms and didn't want to be a Karen, but just be wary of all of the "extras". OH! And make sure to make reservations if you want to use the steam room/sauna/jacuzzi - you can't simply walk in at most times, especially if you're not getting any spa services or in a Club 268 spa room. Room service: The grits/cheese curds were delish as usual, and the wedge salad was amazing. Food was delivered within 20 mins and Nelson was delightful. Lunch at The Lodge - Since it was just me I sat at the bar. The servers seemed rushed and were doing their best but I had to ask for a menu/my check. I offered to slide down a seat when a large family group showed up and they had similar issues - the tea they ordered was sludge in the teapot, no scissors for the honey sticks, had to ask for extra hot water, etc. This place isn't cheap, so one would expect a little more attention to detail. I'll be back at some point, but I can't recommend Salish over the holidays due to the cost and service, especially if you have scent sensitivities/allergies.

Salish Lodge & Spa Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Salish Lodge & Spa

Does the restaurant/ the dining room accept walk ins? Anyone know how busy it gets in a Saturday afternoon?

Hi Alice, we do accept walk-ins as long as we have room. However, we strongly encourage that you make a reservation to avoid disappointment. We tend to become fully committed, especially on the weekends. Thanks for your question!

Is the $50 for the pools, steam room and sauna worth it? How big is the place and how many pools are there?

I'd recommend seeing it when you arrive and then deciding! I didn't end up going because I didnt end up having enough time to make it worth it. The gym pass they provide is awesome though and has great classes so I recommend that. The outdoors is… Read more

When we arrived at Treehouse Point, everybody was so professional and kind! We were given a quick tour of all of the amenities in the lodge and other community areas. Then, we were directed to our tree house, Ananda. Just wow! It was cozy as well as spacious, and it was very well appointed with everything we could possibly need! Even though there were other tree houses around ours, we ALL enjoyed total privacy. A great deal of attention has been made in creating personal experiences while still tending to developing a very unique community. All building materials in our treehouse were the best quality available, and the workmanship is second to none! We walked around the grounds, being respectful of others' privacy. Every tree house was unique and beautiful! We then took the trail down to the Raging River. It was beautiful, but our spring has been unusually dry, and the river a little thirsty. Overnight, a rainstorm came through the area. The sound coming from a refreshed river the next morning was breathtaking! I wanted to wake up so I could experience it all, but instead I slept through it. I guess I slept comfortably! (And I am not young.) The bath houses were beautiful and felt like individual spa rooms. They were supplied with wonderful bath products, and the shower offered a pampering experience. Similarly, special products and amenities were provided in our private unit, including coffee and tea. We were going to wash our few dishes, but no dish soap was found, further demonstrating Treehouse Point's intent to pamper their guests. After waking up in the trees, we prepared our own mugs of coffee, tea, and nibbles. After a peaceful start to the day, we made our way to the lodge for breakfast (feeding the fish along the way). Our own breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The chef and souz chef prepared several wonderful dishes. The selections and quality of preparation were both outstanding! Our visit was so wonderful that we truly didn't want to leave! We made the visit to fulfill a bucket list item, but we are already talking about returning again, this time with friends. I could go on and share more, but I want you to delight in your own experience, just as we had. If you've been considering a visit to Treehouse Point, wait no longer. You will never regret it!

I truly can't say enough wonderful things about TreeHouse Point. Our first stay felt like stepping…read moreinto a storybook. Sleeping in a beautifully crafted treehouse, surrounded by towering evergreens and the peaceful sounds of nature, was pure magic. It's such a cool and unique experience -- cozy, serene, and unlike any traditional hotel stay. One of my favorite memories is making s'mores by the fire and enjoying them beside the running river. We loved it so much that we booked another visit -- but unfortunately, we ran into an unexpected childcare situation that meant we had to cancel. It was incredibly disappointing and honestly very inconvenient. We had been so excited to return, and having to change plans at the last minute was stressful. That's where Abbey Rodriguez truly shined. She was so gracious, kind, and understanding throughout the entire situation. Instead of making us feel like we were causing a problem, she stepped in immediately, handled everything with compassion and professionalism, and made what could have been a frustrating experience feel manageable and supported. Her warmth and willingness to help turned a difficult moment into one that actually deepened our appreciation for TreeHouse Point. Exceptional places are special -- but exceptional people make them unforgettable. Abbey's graciousness and care showed us that TreeHouse Point isn't just magical because of the treehouses and the forest (though those are amazing!) -- it's magical because of the heart behind it. We are so happy with TreeHouse Point and so grateful for the way we were treated. We absolutely plan to visit again soon -- and next time, we can't wait to be back in the trees where the magic began.

We got to start setting things up the night before, so the morning wasn't super crazy! Working with Kendra and Adrienne was superb! They are so kind and helpful making sure you have everything that you need, and all questions are answered. Kendra helped set up the weekend and every time we got to chat, she remembered all of our details and had the best suggestions for vendors and layouts. Adriene was there day of and helped answer last minute questions, located parking signage, and managed vendor questions with ease! The lodge made some recent upgrades so the ceremony and reception space (new tables and arch) was absolutely gorgeous! Check in/Check out is easy if you follow their list, and the flow of the wedding day was a breeze because everything was at the same place! Our group is already planning an anniversary trip for us because the lodge was so much fun! Thank you, Wallace Falls Lodge and team!

Twin Peaks Fans Unite!…read more Just wanted to leave a very well put review on this motel that we stayed at! My Fiancé and I reserved and stayed at mysterious room #6 which incase if you already know... this was the same exact room in Fire Walk With Me with Laura Palmer and Ronette Pulaski were seen in. I got to say. Staying in this exact film site location was amazing! Leo, one of the hotel managers made sure we were taken care of as far as booking this special room for our eventful weekend for Fire Walk With me with Shery Lee and made sure we had access to our room! Definitely would stay here again at this establishment and would encourage any twin peaks fans to reserve room #6 when you can or you can get room #8 for phillip jeffries room as well incase you can't get #6, but trust me. This place you enter is both wonderful and strange as Dale Cooper would say and was definitely a magical stay here at Mt. Si Motel aka Red Diamond Motel.

Don't let the exterior deceive you. The lady at the front office was very friendly, the room was clean and didn't smell weird, and it's not far away from the town at all. Everything is a 3-5 min drive or if you're in need of some exercise, a 25-30 min walk depending how far you wanna go. You also have the added benefit of less traffic since the location isn't as close to the town center as the other hotels. I recommend the place. Don't be afraid to try it out. I also assume it's cheaper than the other spots too.

Love that there are so many designated accessible rooms with lit doorbells for Deaf guests. Breakfast area was clean and well-maintained. Variety in the food was good/standard. Everyone was well-fed by the time we finished. Enjoyed courtyard with my youngest who wanted to bring his bubble wand. The coffee area ran out of hot water in the evening but the bartender was very helpful in filling two cups for us for a hot chocolate and tea. Looked like people were using the self-service laundry facilities regularly. The hotel is close to Costco, Trader Joe's and Target. Room felt a bit cramped compared to other hotels I've stayed at this year. That would probably be my only complaint.

But the main thing I didn't like was that in order to turn on the shower you have to step into it and get a blast of cold water directly on you because you cannot change the showerhead direction at all. Whoever designed the shower is an idiot. You don't put the showerhead where the fixed door is you put it where the operable door is. For this reason alone I give this place two stars. The receptionist says well it's a good way to wake up. Not for people with heart disease, it isn't.
