I've been to Sally's many times over the years. The store near me is kind of small but still has a lot to offer. On this trip I stopped in to repurchase an eyebrow pencil that I ran out of last week. They moved the makeup and did not have as much as I remembered, but they still had the eyebrow pencil. This made me very happy because I love this product! They also had all of their fingernail polish buy one get one 50% off. Which is a very good deal for OPI. In addition to makeup and nail polish you can shop for hair care products such as color, shampoo and conditioner. They also have a wide variety of hair. The other thing I like about Sally's is they offer coupons regularly. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I will continue to shop at Sally's for my makeup and hair care needs. read more

This was a pop in pop out stop- I knew exactly what I wanted, more pink hair dye. I did pause to look at the other brands, the cost to quantity ratio and how it was listed- temporary or semi-permanent. Sally's is the nearest beauty supply store to me. Yet they have so little to offer me. It's such a small cramped store but I walk around and feel like there is really nothing inside. Everything feels better supplemented at Sephora or cosmetic section of Walmart. But every so often pop in check out the sales. Every so often I get into a beauty haul and stock up on nail polish and DIY spa items. Service is always flacky. Sometime I walk in and can;t see anyone and I'm not greeted. Out of nowhere, someone appears and just stares at you til you say you are ready to check out. When they do greet you everything they ring in seems to be missed marked. I don't know why such a low rating at this Sally's! I love this Sally's and have been a patron for 9 nine years. The employees are always helpful, the store is always well stocked and clean, and they carry just about every item you could possibly need for your hair. Hair color, bleach, toners, shampoo and conditioner, styling products, brushes, straighteners, blow dryers, extensions, scissors, clippers and guards, and of course all of the supplies to execute your diy color job. They also sell make up and stuff for mani pedis. If you are knowledgeable when it comes to diy beauty this should be your first stop. Also, I just wanna throw this out there too...if you are a brunette and trying to go platinum blonde for the first time, please do not attempt this on your own. Pay the extra money and have a professional do it your first time, and then come here for your root touch up supplies. read more

I would highly recommend this location. Sabrina and her staff gave the best customer service and did an amazing job with assisting me choose a sit under hair dryer. They also helped me sign up for the beauty rewards program and allowed me to use some rewards right then and there. Loved the staff here, they were beyond friendly and funny. There are rules in retail. We know what they are. Always greet customers walking through the door. If you have low margin product but a lot of it, staff a good number of people who can keep an eye on the inventory and be available for questions. If the store is slow, find something to do. There should always be someone at the register. So there were missteps when I visited, not least the failure by any of the three attendants to greet me when I walked through the door, they weren't rude just preoccupied with their enthralling discussion. When I was ready to purchase my items all attendants had disappeared into a back room, so I got impatient and left. Kind of a bummer. read more

I come here very rarely for a few things. The last time I was here was well over 4 months ago. The lady at the counter at the time was very friendly, helpful and attentive. This time though it was a different lady at the counter, I can't even say she was at the counter she was crouched behind it in the corner in the phone. She didn't even greet me. - which isn't a big deal IF you're actually busy. Being on your phone justifies nothing. I found what I needed and went to check out, she mumbled the entire time. The reason why I give this Sally's a 1 star rating is because they SUCK! Do not go to this Sally's! I went there 4 times in probably a 1.5-2 month period. I had to start bleaching my hair on my own because I just didn't have the money to keep going to the salon and paying $200 just for highlights. (Even though I loved going to that place and the girl that did my hair) The first time I went the girl was very sweet and attentive. (She was a shorter black girl) She told me the stuff that I needed to bleach my hair and the toner to use. And handed me the items and rung me up at the counter. But with the toner she didn't tell me I needed 2 bottles. She just handed me one. So when I went home to do my hair, my hair was so brassy, even after toning it. So I went in the next day. I talked to a different girl (short, fat, white girl with short hair) and told her what happened to my hair after I toned it and she told me I should have used 2 bottles of toner since my hair is so long. But when I was talking to her she was talking so quiet that I could barely hear her. She told me since I'm toning again that the one bottle I had in my hands should be enough to get my hair the color that I desired. (When I was talking to her she acted like she just smoked a joint in the back)! That's how dumb she sounded and she wasn't really paying attention to what I was saying when I was explaining what happened to my hair the night before. So I went home and tried again. Still not much of a difference when I toned it the second time. So obviously she didn't know what the hell she was talking about. So I went in the third time and I talked to the older black lady that worked there. I explained to her what happened the first and second time I was there and she asked me who I talked to and I told her and she had a look on her face like "yeah they are idiots"! That lady seemed to know what she was talking about and seemed like she had some knowledge about hair. The other two young girls DID NOT! So today I went in and got some more toner because after a while it washes out. The same girl was there that I saw the second time. (Short white girl) She didn't come to me asking if I needed help at all. (Which I would have told her no because obviously she knows nothing about hair) but she kept following me around the store like she was making sure I wasn't stealing anything. It was very creepy. There was another woman in there that had black hair and wanted it to be lighter. Not sure what shade she wanted but she was talking to the employee and she told the girl that her hair should come out that color that she wanted even though it's black! I couldn't believe it. I had black hair for 5 years and the best thing to do is cut it out or maybe go to a salon and see what they think is best. I felt so sorry for her:/ also when I went around the counter of the store to ring up my items the girl was just leaning over the counter and looked very bored. Can't you just seem busy??? when the girl rung me up she forgot an item and it was like a $12 dry shampoo and I wasn't going to say anything about it because in my eyes I was owned that since I spent so much money there because these idiots don't know what they are talking about! Anyways rant over. I just feel like if you are going to work at a store like this then you should have knowledge of hair. And not just some person telling people stuff that's not true just became you want those products to be sold. read more
