What a shock! to go in and ask for Highlights from Sherri and she totally disregarded my information and took the whole top of my head and bleached it blonde...I have brown hair. Now, I have 2 extremes, one whitish at the crown , and the other my original hair. I tried to talk to Dana, but she is not good in communication as I wrote her how extremely devastated and horrified and ashamed,. They gave me my money back, but don't trust Sherri, she lied when I asked why, and she denied it all. Those people are snotty, and without regard for beauty. . I have to wear this mess. Salon 21 is a nightmare and took no responsibility to communicate to Sherri what she did. Are they that bad, YES! read more

I don't recommend this place if you have short hair like me. Sierra always leaves my sides uneven and she always does something to the front of my hair when I have said I wanted it left alone. She doesn't pay attention to detail, I always have to ask her fix something. read more

I have been going to Salon 21 since it opened for my hair cuts, styles, and color. First of all, I am so happy that there is an Aveda Salon in the Bitterroot Valley. I love the products! The ladies at the salon are all very professional and well trained. They take advantage of the Aveda training and stay very knowledgeable and up to date on all aspects of hair care. The Salon decor is very beautiful with antique pieces to admire and comfortable seating provided. The Aveda specialty tea is great and coffee is also available for the clientle. I have come early for appointments on occasion and between relaxing while drinking the tea and reading the magazines I almost regretted having to start my appointment. I would recommend Salon 21 very highly. All of the stylists are great and will provide wonderful results for whatever you are having done. read more
