I wanted to change my salon location so I looked around found this place. When I called someone with a great personality picked up and was very helpful! When I went into the salon it was a very nice and well put together and the staff was great.. The atmosphere is little LA'ish and I like that because i am from LA. :) I sat down and explained very thing I wanted into great detail. This was my 1st time here so I didn't expect them to get it the 1st time without me telling them. The outcome was more than I was expecting. When they completed my cut and color I was asked if I wanted a little more flare and style to my cut. I was a little apprehensive but after looking at everyone cut , who worked in the salon ,I felt I was in good hands. The outcome was great! It didn't take very long. I will be going here for many years to come. The only thing I would suggest is if you are a new client and you go into the salon or any salon and say you want a cut and color and expect them to know what to do, you might get something you don't like. I absolutely love this place! Everyone is so friendly, the service is exceptional and the pricing is very good. When I moved down here last fall i was nervous to find a new stylist because I had had bad experiences changing salons in the past, but thankfully I found this place!!! I see Leah and she is very good at balancing the ideas I bring to her with what will work for my hair type. I recently dyed my hair for the first time EVER, and she did an outstanding job picking shades that worked best for my complexion and preferences. She is very honest about what will and will not work for you, so you are guaranteed to have a flattering cut/color. I hate to write this review but I feel that I need to. The guy who works here (sorry I cant remember his name) gave me such a bad color on my hair that other hairdressers that I showed were shocked. I asked for my dyed blonde hair to be broken up to graduate into my natural hair color, and was given black, yes black streaks through-out my hair. By the time that my hair dried, I had to find another colorist to help salvage my hair. All the colorists I saw were truly shocked at the wig state of my blonde/black steaked hair. I had to have it all dyed dark brown to cover up the mess. They are nice people at this salon, but do not get color done here. I would not say that unless it was really that bad. read more

FINALLY. The search is over. I have found a salon that I love. I can't honestly say that I have ever liked any of my haircuts - ever. But this place gave me the haircut of my life. I have very difficult hair. It's awkward and wavy and very thin. Any haircut I get only makes my hair look thinner. The guy who cut my hair knew exactly how to work with my hair type to make it look fuller. I actually got layers! Who knew that could happen? It's modern and fun and the people are very friendly. It cost about $40 for the cut, which I think is reasonable for the quality of service. It was a fabulous experience. read more

If you're looking for a place to get your hair done where it's not a chain but you also don't feel like paying $100 for a hair cut, this is your place. My hair girl is Ana and I just love her. She does an amazing job with my hair. I've gone in and given her specific instructions on what to do, and she does exactly what I want. Other times I go in and give her free reign to do whatever she wants, and she never disappoints. She also gives the BEST shampoo massages, and she always has great conversation to offer. loved the salon, been to lots of places in north county coastal these past 20 years, think ill come back to this one Found the ladies here very fun and competent. My color turned out lovely and having a relaxing cup of tea or wine made my afternoon. What a great experience. Finally! I have found a salon where I know I will walk out happy...every time! The atmosphere is so fun and hip, with featured artists' work decorating the walls and a cool retail area in front with retro flare. I also love love love the complimentary wine. I have always been the girl who thinks of a trip to the salon as such a chore and put it off for as long as possible, but I already have my next appointment booked! They have a great little retro boutique up front along with a nice line of hair products and makeup. Comfy couches and really friendly staff make it a relaxing experience. I never feel rushed and I feel like I'm the center of attention when I'm in the chair.
