The appointment system is great and sends a reminder the day before and everything comes in a little text. I did see some of the nail art and it was well done. And I'm not picky. The first girl literally had my eyeliner 3/4 inch thick on my eye lid. You couldn't even see my eyelid because it was covered in eyeliner. I told her it was a little to thick for me and when I turned around the owner saw my face and had another makeup artist come over to fix it. After rubbing my eyes raw from adding and removing my makeup the 2nd girl who was working on me had another client show up, so she had to pass me off to another girl. My appt was at 130. I didn't leave there until 430!!!!! I went there to prevent stress from doing my own hair and makeup, but instead it caused a lot more stress than if I would have spent the last 3 hours doing it myself. I was soooo upset. So after having spent 3 hours of my face being rubbed off by 3 different people, you would think I would have gotten some kind of price break or something to rectify what I had just experienced, but no. I paid full price for a service that was done by what felt like high school girls trying to do each other's makeup. Although my hair was good I only have one star because my overall situation was that bad!

Not only was everyone…read moreextremely welcoming and rich in southern hospitality, but Juanita was personable, she actually listened to me and didn't just nod and smile and then go through the cutting motions. I had extremely long and thick hair that on average from wash to blow dry takes over 2 hours. Not only was Juanita on point with her scalp scrubbing, massaging, and washing skills, but she didn't just go right to hacking away when I decided "how much" to cut off, she actually cut a little at a time to make sure I was happy with the results and still got done within the average time frame. While I was there, the ladies also shared with me the non profit they are affiliated with, PINK HEARTS. Pink Hearts Fund helps people struggling with cancer feel better by donating and finding funds to create wigs with real human hair. I told them that if (when) I shave the underside of my hair (closest to my neck) I will be sure to send all 14+ inches to them to donate on my behalf to PINK HEARTS.
