I had a very serious experience at this salon that left my hair extremely damaged. During my balayage service, my hair became mushy and gummy when wet, and it was breaking and falling out while the stylist brushed it. I ended up losing a significant amount of length because of the damage, and my hair is still very dry and compromised. The situation was distressing enough that I'm currently exploring my options to address the damage and the cost of repairing it. I expected a much higher level of care and attention during a chemical service. I'm sharing this so other clients are aware and so the salon understands how serious the outcome was for me. read more

Please beware of this salon and horrible customer service from the salon owner Lisa. My daughter asked for a balayage and Jess took it upon herself to give her baby highlights instead. Why would she choose to do highlights when my daughter specifically asked for a balayage? So instead of providing good customer service and owning their mistake, instead they came back with lame excuses ( box hair dye, time constraints...) instead of recognizing the fact that Jess did not perform a balayage technique and instead put the bleach on the entire section of hair from root to tip. A balayage is natural free hand brush strokes not simply slapping on bleach from root to tip. Horrible experience and waste of time and money. My daughter had to go to another salon and have the mess that Jess did on her hair covered with a solid colour in order to start from scratch again. They were able to give my daughter a balayage in one appointment with the same amount of time that Jess was given. Do yourself a favour, go somewhere else. They don't care about you just your money. Stay away. Find another salon. Go to a salon that will actually listen to what you want and try to make you happy. I see they also have other 1 star reviews ( I'd give a 0 if I could) so it's not only us who feels this way about this salon. STAY AWAY. read more

This salon is the best in London! I am from NY and Chicago and it feels like I'm back at home. The salon sells the best products (Kerastase, enough said) and it's two floors. Plus a full bar, I was offered a coffee with Baileys, yes please!!! Kayla is a master! She took my hair from yellow and orange to Ice blonde perfection. The haircut was flawless too! I went from medium brown to blonde in one session and the stylist Jess was so so patient with me and very helpful. She didn't charge me for a head massage and toned my brows for free as well. She is an angel and took her entire day to work on my hair. Even styled it for free. I think she is incredible and anyone who wants a good stylist please see Jess. I was shocked at how much blonde I was able to get to in one session. (5 hours) but she took the time to highlight tiny pieces as well. I cannot say enough about how amazing Jess is. The only reason my rating isn't 5 is the price was very high and I did end up noticing streaks in my hair that I didn't particularly want. She did have another assistant that wasn't a professional stylist yet help. I also think the job was amazing but it's a big change. Stylist was great. I booked a women's cut with the understanding it was $65. I got maybe an inch cut off and my total came to $112. I was never told different stylist had different pricing. Overall, this is definitely one of the nicest hair salons in London, Ontario! I love my stylist, Brandy. She's super friendly and makes the time go by so quickly (there's a reason it's called "hair-apy." I've had balayage done by her twice now and she's done an amazing job! I cannot say enough positive things about this salon. I have had many experiences over the years and have never once left anything but feeling beautiful, pampered and well informed. I had Jade do my hair today. The other stylists have been good also, particularly Shauna. However, I have been a little frustrated with how my hair looks within a week or two of my appointment. Most of that may be that my hair seems to have changed over the past few years and that I spend a lot of time in the sun. Also, I am probably not very good at expressing the look that I want. So it may be what it is, it is. Today, Jade went above and beyond, taking the time to figure out the look that I wanted and explaining the pros and cons of different colors and why some may not work for me. I also love the cut. I had a great experience here. Lisa cut my fine, curly hair that I've been having trouble with and gave me lots of tips for styling and products. The haircut looks amazing and I feel like I actually know what to do with my hair now! Lisa seems very knowledgable about curly hair of all types so I would highly recommend her if you're looking for someone to cut curly hair. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Terrible salon - I had Courtney and came in for a blonde-highlight, chrissy teigen look. I have asian hair and had given backstory that my hair had been bleached before and was strong. She didn't listen at all, ended up lightening the roots and ends by one shade, only, and left a huge chunk of dark in the middle - she clearly knew she had messed up as she kept saying "it'll get lighter" even though it was clear that it was not what I had wanted. I called back after saying I was not happy with the hair, they rebooked me, I went in with Courtney and then expressed heavily that I did not want to pay for a correction as I had clearly stated what I had wanted the first time and that I was really unhappy with my last visit. I repeated this almost 5 times saying "I am a student and I cannot afford this", unfortunately she clearly didn't listen to me as they charged me an extra 150$ after on top of the original 200$ for the first hair appointment and I was so uncomfortable as she stood there, demanding I pay, that I paid. Futhermore, she still messed it up and left a chunk black!! When I called back, out of embarrassment that I had to call again regarding the bad service, the owner never even spoke to me when talking about what would happen next. One of the managers called me and only refunded 130$ out of the 150$ for the second appointment, she was clearly frustrated with the ordeal and did not care whatsoever to maintain a good rep for her salon. I do not know about the other hairdressers but Courtney in particular seemed incredibly vapid and arrogant. She clearly lied about her ability to dye my hair properly and it seems, through the owner's response, as though this salon is only concerned about making money and not maintaining a good standard with their clientele. read more

in the last week If I had the option for rating negative I would have done that. This was my first appointment and last visit to this salon. They are not only unprofessional to the core and unapologetic. I was given a 5:15 smoothing treatment & haircut appointment. When I reached there I was told that my appointment was for 5:00 pm and they have slotted in someone else. They do not have a proper system of email or sms confirmations. I have traveled and lived in many places but have nowhere seen a professional place not sending you a confirmation messages. I requested to check if I can at least get a haircut as I drove a long way and rescheduled my family dinner just for the salon appointment but they refused to accommodate me. The lady at the reception was very arrogant and did not apologize. She implied that I was lying and didn't bother to call in and cancel my appointment. Be sure that you aren't the next victim. Carrie-Lynn is an absolutely wonderful stylist! I have very thick, medium-length hair and, in my experience, it is difficult to shape and thin for many stylists. She was methodical, taking her time to give me the right cut. A reasonable cost for an excellent cut, it is worth the cost if you want a great cut. read more

Found this place when I was at a restaurant in-town and just had to ask this woman, who had the nicest haircut and colour I've seen in a long time, where and who did her hair.
