I have been going to Sierra for 7 years now and I am always thrilled with my results. Everytime I have a new color in mind she always delivers. She has taken me from red, burgundy and purple to jet black with extensions. More recently she has taken me from light caramel to buttery blonde. I have followed her from different locations because I wouldn't want anyone else bleaching and coloring my hair. She also has a friendly personality and is always accommodating. She will be my hairstylist for life.

I had Absolutely the worst and most upsetting experience ever ! I saw a new stylist named Sierra for a color change and she left my hair two different tones I reached out to her a week later to go in to get it fixed and have one color across my hair she decided to bleach my ends left me sitting for 10 minutes and I experienced severe burning I asked someone next to me to help with finding my stylist as well as another worker at which point I had to get up from the chair run to ask for help from another stylist who left her client and ran to wash my hair out my towel was scorching hot I almost passed out and multiple stylist saw what happened and assisted She continued to color my hair and left it looking super patchy and uneven. She kept insisting it looked fine I paid over $400 for this service all within 1 week !!! I contacted management specifically Karla the manager and she was no help neither was the stylist no accountability TERRIBLE and Upsetting experience !! Do not see her !

Rene did an excellent job on my balayage. I have been using box dye for a couple of years, and she was honest about my color potentially not lifting as much. But I ended up loving the color. It and the haircut were exactly what I wanted: natural, warm and lots of layers. Rene is also very efficient, which I appreciate! I've found it difficult to find a hair expert I like who gives me the end results I'm looking for, and so I plan to see Rene again for the next touch up. She has 30+ years of experience and is very talented. Highly recommend her!

Rene did an amazing job!! She really listens to her clients and gives great suggestions. Rene really exceeded my expectations. Definitely will be coming back to her, she took really good care of my hair. I'm used to staying in a salon for about 6-7 hours for a balayage because I have so much hair but she did it all in 3 hours and half:) ! Great hairdresser!!

Stumbled upon this salon on accident. I came here for a hair cut a earlier this year. I have been wanting to get my hair colored but every time I've gotten it colored in the past, I never liked the way it turned out. I decided to come back to try this place out for color. I set an appointment with Desiree R. She was amazing! She's friendly, down to earth, easy to talk to, answers all your questions, and is able to explain things to you (like after care, touch ups, tips). I went in explaining my past hair color history with Des, she looked at my hair and said my hair looks healthy enough to color again. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and it came out exactly the same as the picture. I highly recommend Desiree for any hair appointments!!

I came in a about a week ago. My stylist Lubna is amazing!!!! She gave me great balayage!!!! Lubna cares about the health of your hair! Plus she is very funny, kind, and she is just all around good energy. I looooveeee the space it's roomy I don't feel clustered. They have all types of services not just hair bust also they have facials, nails, laser hair removal, and messages. If you are looking to get Balyage I highly suggest Lubna.

Thank you Rene!! She did wonders on my hair! As a momma I don't get to do my hair as often. I decided to go from my brunette hair to a ombré look. I was scared that I would have to go through the yellow hair face. But my gosh she surprised me. She was able to lift it way past that & to top it off she made my experience super comforting and didn't pressure me into doing anything I didn't want to. Her work definitely speaks for itself! I've been coming to this salon for a few years now to see my girl, Staph. As you can see, she does an amazing job at whatever hair color I can dream up. After meeting her, I will never trust anyone else with my hair. She's so creative and so meticulous with my hair. As often as I color my hair, she absolutely knows how to work with my hair without damaging it. She's super fun to work with and a total sweetheart! I'm really lucky to have found her and can't compliment her enough. I almost don't want to write this review because she's already busy enough and I want to keep her for myself. Checkout her work on instagram [at] by_staph. As for the salon, it's a massive salon and checking in is a breeze. Parking, as many have mentioned is fairly easy as long as you don't come during evenings/weekends. Just a warning with parking: Make sure you check where you park and the allowed duration. The parking structure is usually a 2 hour limit and they do come mark your cars and you will get ticketed if you don't move.

My first time coming here and right away I loved their decor. I got a Brazilian blowout and a trim from Erika (beautyby.luz). My hair was damaged from all the bleach I've put it through and she managed to make it super soft and manageable since I have thick frizzy hair. Thank you again, Erika. I love my hair read more

Absolutely recommend this place to everyone! Find someone who can have you sit in their chair and you can explain you want and watch them go to work. That's what Briana Macias does! She always knows exactly what to recommend for stylist products and booking an appointment with her is so easy! She is amazing at cuts and color!! read more

5 stars for Kayce! I had her cut my hair today and she did an amazing job. She cut 6 inches off and I absolutely love it! And she even curled my hair for me. I'm writing this review for Bitia. I have finally found someone that I love and my hair loves. I call her 'my Beautiful Hair Fairy'. I've been going to see Biti for the last two years and every time I come out of the salon feeling beautiful. Whatever she does - color, cut, styling - always beautiful and stylish. Wish I could have her do my hair every day! I give her an idea of what I'm looking for and she delivers every time! Finding a great hairstylist is not easy but I have found the ONE, and can't be happier. I also like the fact that Bitia is flexible and willing to make adjustments to her day to accommodate my busy schedule, making appointments is super easy, the salon is in a great location and lends itself for a relaxing pampering time. read more

Miguel saved my hair and gives me the colors I want. I've been going to him for over a year now. I first found him at his old place of business and he did a redo from another stylists mess up and I have not looked back. I even followed him from there to Salon Lujon. He gives you exactly what your looking for. I change the color of my hair about every 6 weeks and he never disappoints. read more

Five stars hands down! OCTAVIO was amazing. He was highly recommended by my coworkers and all I can say... it was worth the drive. It was my very first time actually going to a salon to get my hair colored. The entrance is in the back, but the little patio outside is perfect, I was thinking to myself FANCY. Once I walked in, kindly the lady in the reception desk(didn't get her name) was friendly and called the stylist that I was there. Once I sat on Octavio's chair, he clearly explained to me what the process was going to be, after I showed him the picture i showed him. I put my trust in him with my hair. All I could tell him that since I was going blonde, I DID NOT want it looking yellow. He agreed with me NO YELLOW. And that what I got. After when cutting and styling he told me exactly what he was doing, just in case I was wondering. And all I can say is it was a great experience, definitely going back!:) read more

My review is for Miguel. I have known Miguel for 22 years, he is still the only person I trust touching mine and my 18 year old daughter's hair. I just left his chair and can't thank him enough formy hair. I have hair that went past my butt, it was dried out because I haven't been to see him in a while. He trimmed it and made it look and feel great. It goes to my waist now and looks super healthy. About 3 months ago he gave my daughter blue highlights, he was super patient with her long thick super curly hair and gave her exactly what she wanted Miguel is always available when I ask silly hair care produxt questions too. He knows his stuff and makes you look amazing. read more

I love Salon Lujon! I always walk in feeling so self-conscious about my roots & the way I look and I walk out feeling absolutely fabulous. Heather Perkins is my primary hair stylist, but everyone that works there is always so kind. Definitely recommend this place for men, women, and children because they always do an amazing job, no matter what. read more

I booked an appointment with Mihaela & she was amazing. I had seen other Yelp reviews about her so I decided to go with her & she didn't disappointment. I went in for a hair cut & she really did an amazing job. My hair looks amazing. She also curled with for me because I had my engagement pictures that day. I 10/10 recommend her. I will definitely be going back to her. The salon is also very nice. It is very classy & elegant. Very clean. Everyone was 6ft apart and wearing masks. read more

Went for a DevaCurl cut for my kiddo and the stylist's cut really didn't match the first stylist we had out of another studio. It was also really packed. We went as soon as salons were able to open. Definitely wish they limited the number of stylists and customers more. I did appreciate the precautions with masks, sanitizer, and liability forms. We won't likely go back only because my daughter need someone really really skilled with cutting curly hair. read more

I got waxed by Greg. I've done this about 10 times before, and Greg was BY FAR, the best. He was perfectly professional, confident, and gentle. A++. By all means compare him to somebody else, because you'll then understand how much better he is, really!!! Additionally, the salon was incredibly clean, very spacious, very professional, and had very good check in and check out procedures. For those concerned about their Covid policies and how they practice social distancing, all the best practices and procedures seem to be well in place. read more

Miguel is the BEST!!! Being someone with curly hair, there is a particular way that it needs to be cut so that it sit's and doesn't look like a boxy fro. All I have to ask Miguel is if he can cut it so that the curls "sit pretty" and I LOVE MY HAIR EVERY TIME. My coworker recommended her from her own personal experience, and it was a big step for me to go to a new hairdresser after going to the same one for over 20 years. Had an appointment with Novia to cut my hair into a short bob and she did the most amazing job. My hair is wavy which can a be a little difficult but she took a lot of care into making sure things were even and gave me exactly the style I was looking for. First Deva cut by Meghan. Her hair has never been colored but like all girls with curly hair once the knot fairies take over you know it's time for a good cut. This was by far the best haircut EVER! Meghan took her time abs really listened which is completely important. If you're considering a curly cut I highly recommend Meghan. There are other curl styles there and everyone seemed really nice. This review is for Suzan. I provided a photo of what I wanted my hair to look like and after just less than two hours she was done with my hair (which felt extremely rushed to me). She left me an undesirable shade of blonde, brassy and with orange spots throughout my hair. After the appointment I let her know that I didn't like the orange spots and she told me that I was going to have to deal with them. Unfortunately I paid $350 for this awful service. I let her know a day after that I'm really not satisfied and if there was something she can do to fix it. I went back to see her and to be honest I don't know what she did because the shade of blonde, brass and orange spots was all still there. She insisted that I was going to have to deal with it. I'm so disappointed in this service especially after expressing my concerns with her and being told "you're going to have to deal with it". Now my hair is damaged and I have to pay for someone else to try to fix it. read more

Writing this review for Miguel who is the only person I will trust to do my hair! He has been doing my hair for a while now and I have no complaints. Every time I leave the salon my hair looks better than ever and I love that he doesn't cut my hair so short when I just ask for a trim. He always leaves my hair looking so long and healthy. I went in today super nervous for my first haircut on my curly hair. Wendy cut and shaped my hair so perfectly! I'm in love with the results of my hair!! Wendy Bood is also one of the sweetest stylists I've met so far. She has children with curly hair and was able to recommend products and give personal advice about what will work best for my hair. I made an appointment at this salon with Gina Gaunt three weeks ago for a deva cut and color. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience and could never recommend her or Salon Lujon to anyone for services in the future. Cut - The "deva cut" I received is by far the worst haircut I have had in my adult life. It was very uneven, with chunks of hair 1-2 inches longer than some other pieces. I gave a stylist a chance to fix it, but she not only did she make it more uneven, she made it three inches shorter than I originally wanted. It is completely unsalvageable and will take me six months to year to grow it out. Color- I had a grown out blonde ombre. I asked for my hair to be colored back to my natural level 7 dark blonde so I could continue to grow it out. I even showed the stylist pictures of my virgin hair. What I ended up with is a level 5 dark brown. I am desperately trying to wash it out, but now it is so faded and muddy it will have to be redone. And now I am have to wait 1-2 years to get back to natural. I contacted Gina to ask for a refund on the cut, too embarrassed to ask for the hair color as well. After asking if she could cut it again (NO, there is nothing left!) and trying to convince me this was normal for a deva cut, she has offered to refund the cut cost, but not the tip, which struck me as ridiculous since the service was in no way satisfactory. And I could use the money to pay to have this disaster fixed elsewhere. I will update my review when/if the refund is issued. I would also like to add that every time I called, staff did not once offer to let me speak to the owner of manager, telling me I had to take it up with the stylist directly. Another poor customer service choice. read more

I went last weekend to get my hair done by Deanna Moore! I was so happy with her customer service. I am super picky with my hair and I must say that she really listened to me as to what I wanted my hair to look like. She went above and beyond with what I wanted. Deanna is your girl to go to! It's my one day off and have an appointment for more than a hair cut. I've never gotten may hair done. Honestly for the first time it was the worst. I come in not even nicely greeted. No conversation with my hair lady. Tells me to put my stuff down and takes me to wash my hair. Before beginning, I tell her about coloring my hair. Then why when I asked for color she told me it was too late and I have to reschedule! I tried to be nice and she said maybe other colors and never offered anything else. She only cut my hair! $50, plus $5 tip for 4 inches of hair to be cut off, why didn't I go down in Anaheim for better service?! Do I have to ask for a different person who will actually talk to me?! If she feels a cut or color may not look good on you, she'll let you know and guide you to a look you'll love instead which I appreciate it very much. Sometimes we as clients have different visions for our cuts /or color that may not always work in our favor because, well, we usually want what we see without knowing if it will actually look good or not. #guilty‍‍. But Betia is yo girl! She'll help you achieve the look you want and love! Betia's schedule is usually busy but she is easy to get a hold of and will make sure she can fit her clients in whenever possible. The salon is clean and cheery. The front desk always greet you with a smile when you walk in, it's safe to say their customer service is on point! Very unhappy with Brie and management. Been coming here for years however, Amanda was great! She left the salon and her assistant, Brie took over and she increased the price like crazy! After I was told everything would remain the same. She Did a crappy job! I went in on a Thursday and by Sat I noticed my roots were not fully covered. I went back in on Tuesday, she moved my appointment to a later time (assuming she had no clients) after it was confirmed. She argued that my roots grew out in 2 days like really! She said she could touch it up but she would charge me again! She was never friendly, just rude and long faced all the time. I am a regular client who goes in every 3 weeks and had this been Amanda she would have had better customer service and would have happily fixed this. So this review is long overdue. I love, love, love Christy Hunter. She's so great. I was referred to her by a friend. I'm so happy for the referral. I have been to many places on groupons and living social vouchers and I was always dissatisfied. Finally, someone told me about Christy and raved about her work. They were right. She's so creative at what she does. She's very well trained and every time I go to her it's like visiting with a girlfriend. The place is nice. It's very big so I've gotten lost a few times walking around trying to find her station. No big deal. Now I just go up to the front and they call her up for me. Easy! I absolutely love this salon, I used to work there in high school as a towel girl and loved everything about it. The design and architecture inside is so beautiful that it really does make you feel like you're in an expensive salon/spa. After high school I moved down to San Diego but continued to drive up to OC in order to get my hair done. I've gone to Jennifer Critchlow for over 5 years now and she's honestly thee only person I trust with my hair. I once made the mistake of having someone else cut it and color it (desperate right before a friends party) and it was no where near as good as when Jenn does it. Maria did my Brazilian blow out on my thick frizzy hair for my Miami trip. To my surprise, my hair remained smooth and frizz free during the day and nights out in the club even with all that humidity.
