She was very friendly with the girl she was helping but when she went to help me she seemed really cold. No smile, no "how's your day", nothing. It was the same way when I left. She didn't ask me how my service was or invite me back or to re-book. I'm hoping she was just having an off day. That said, my pedicure was absolutely wonderful! My nail tech explained all the services they offer, she did a very relaxed, caring and beautiful pedicure and it's holding up incredibly well. The nail tech was friendly and so sweet. She made me feel like I was getting a pedicure from a friend, not a new stranger. That said, she didn't overdo the conversation. It didn't feel forced or sales-y. We had a great conversation and I will definitely be booking all of my pedicures with her from now on. The price was incredibly reasonable too. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive for me. I've already scheduled a facial to try their facial services out and look forward to that. The young woman who did my pedicure also does facials (but unfortunately her schedule didn't work with mine the day I needed it to). I'm hoping I find a second rock star at this place. At check-in, I was told the salon could remove and redo dip, but once I was seated, the technician assigned to me couldn't, so I had to switch to gel. My package also included a full spa pedicure, but what I received was essentially just a polish -- no leg massage, no callus treatment. When I asked about it, I was told the tech had switched me to a gel pedicure, which doesn't include those services. I wasn't informed of the change beforehand. If I had been, I wouldn't have chosen a gel color, because the spa experience was what I had been looking forward to. The dip removal was rough. The tech struggled, my nails were left hacked up, and my tips dissolved in the process. I was told they didn't have the equipment to fix or replace them. After about an hour, I stopped the service because it was clear I'd need to go elsewhere to repair the damage -- an expense of roughly $100 on top of what was supposed to be a relaxing gifted day. The manager did waive the charge for the mani/pedi, but insisted the amount remain as a credit for a future visit rather than refund it. Since the spa day was a gift and I don't hold the original gift card, that credit is of no practical use to me -- and it doesn't offset what I'll spend elsewhere to repair the damage. Their position was that I should have told them ahead of time that I had tips. I did disclose my dip nails at check-in, and I wouldn't expect a nail salon to need advance notice to handle tips. Honestly, the manager's attitude and unwillingness to meaningfully make this right was as distressing to me as the damage to my nails. I won't be returning. If you're booking a facial or massage, you may have a fine experience. For anything nail-related, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I have struggled off and on over the years with this location as well as the one in Turkey Creek. I have thought of cancelling several times then would decide to try again. At one time I had so many hours built up there was no way I would be able to get through them in the "60 day" grace period. So, I stuck around a little longer and gave away time to family and friends. Even did the $20 membership pause for 6 months. Positive things??? I can say all of my interactions with staff have been pleasant. The facial was nice (Turkey Creek). That's about it. The follow is in reference to all 3 locations in West Knoxville: (my membership was through the Cherokee Plaza location) I have been a member for a while and the whole time it has been more than a challenge not only to schedule a massage but to find a massage therapist I would really want to see regularly, i.e. one that I felt provided the service was looking for. I never even received a my full 60/90-minute massages. They rarely started on time and always ended early. I could NEVER schedule on the website and when I called the front desk would blame the therapist for not putting their openings on the site. Not sure how it works, I just know what I was told. Why even have the website option if you are not going to make it available for YOUR CUSTOMERS to use. Just delete it for goodness sake! I was finally able to make it in to cancel my membership and was told that it would be processed the next day. When I asked about being refunded, she told me to call in the morning to discuss a refund because the manager wasn't there. (the payment was scheduled to come out). I called this morning and was told I would still get charged for the month because it takes 10 days to process. She said this was on the paperwork I signed!?!?! UGH!!!! Honestly, I was a little pressed for time and just hurried and signed (highlighted parts) the paperwork so I could get the cancelation done and get moving. In the past, I was told I have to come into the location I started the membership with to cancel. I was not verbally made aware that it took 10 DAYS to process. The young girl surely didn't know, otherwise she would have said something instead of telling me to call the next morning when I asked about it...right?!?! **Side note, I tried to look all of this info up online before coming in because this location is out of my way since we moved further west, if it's there, not easily accessible. I feel like I have just squandered hundreds of dollars for a service that was nowhere near par for the course over the past few years. Shame on me for allowing myself to be manipulated into pausing instead of cancelling in the past like I wanted...and shame on you, "ME", for poor customer service. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed.
