I got my hair cut by Giovanni, who spoke English and told me that he's been cutting hair there for 33 years. He was fast, very skilled, and did a great job on my haircut. One of the things that I loved the most came at the end, when he outlined my haircut with a disposable razor and warm shaving cream, you don't get this in hair salons! They also offer to wash your hair after the haircut so you can leave completely clean. At $18 plus tip for the men's haircut, I consider it a good price for a great service. It took me a while to find a real old-school barbershop in Montreal and I'm sticking to it. So if you're looking for real barbers who aren't afraid to wave around a real blade and chat with Italian charisma, this is the place to go. P.S.
