Ummmmmmmm I'm so happy! I recently had my hair highlighted + purchased halo extensions and I'm thrilled with my hair right now. If you've seen me lately, I have short hair. I cut it off about a year ago and then proceeded to have an identity crisis and put my hair through a lot of drama (bleaching my entire head, getting bead-in extensions that made me crazy, removing them, dyeing my hair green on accident, then color correcting).... Soooooo totally had to chop my hair even shorter to get rid of the obviously destroyed ends. After all that, I still wanted long hair. I'm so vain, I know. I talked to Shannon (the beautiful owner of this beautiful salon), met her, and told her what I was thinking. She pulled her own halo extensions out of her hair like magic (she is for sure magical) and let me try them on. I loved them immediately and decided to order them right away! When they were back-ordered on my color of choice (just my luck), Shannon called me and told me aaaaall of my options. I simply went with a longer set in the color I wanted. Three days later, I showed up for my appointment and received my mermaid hair. Shannon gave my actual hair blonde highlights to freshen up my color -- they look rad -- and then she cut my new halo hair to best match my part, frame my face, and blend in with my own hair. The best part about the halo is that you can take it out and put it back in super easily, and so you can have long hair one day and short the next. No itchy head. It doesn't fall off. It looks natural. Love it!! Shannon is so rad and talented and hilarious. I had the pleasure of meeting Anne as well, and now I want to be her friend too! Seems to me that Shannon has put together an amazing staff. So many incredible reviews here on Yelp, and now I can speak from personal experience. If you're looking for a stylist that will listen to you, make you comfortable, and give you honest advice (trust their skills), please come here! These ladies will totally take care of you. I recently got some work done by sandy and I unfortunately am really unsatisfied with her work... I waited 3 years without color treating my hair and went in hoping to get a drastic transformation but instead I got a really bad "balayage" and a butchered hair cut. I reached out to sandy about how dissatisfied I was and she said she was not giving me a refund because the work she put in and the product used was used already. She pretty much did not take responsibility for her mistakes and at this point I do not want it "fixed" I want my money back.. What a great place! I love everything about it! I loved my visit today, and felt the need to give them a shout out. Shannon is an expert in everything hair and beautifying me and many of my family/friends! The atmosphere is so comfortable and you can tell everyone working here enjoys each other and has fun while staying busy. Amber is such a joy to be around and bounces around with so much energy, and jumps in to do whatever is necessary to move everyone along! Not just a salon- you get that solid "we care about you" feeling from everyone! Anne used 2 blow dryers at the same time on someone my last visit and I thought that was so cool! Shaz did such an amazing job with my hair!! She took her time to really understand what I wanted. I was very nervous as this was my first time getting my hair colored. She was very knowledgeable and did not rush me. The balayage came out perfect! Better than I had imagined. She also cut my hair-full layers. It looks amazing. I will def keep coming back to her for future cuts/color. My actual appointment was with Shannon but she did not arrive on time so Shaz took great care of me instead. I was a little annoyed that Shannon not only didn't show up for the appointment, she did not apologize or even acknowledge me when she did arrive to the salon hours later. I just had my first appointment with Anne. I have been on a quest to find a new hairdresser since my old hairdresser left the industry. So glad I turned to yelp to help me find someone. Anne was so easy to talk to and asked lots of questions before she started. She really listened to me and offered suggestions to help fix what another hair lady had done to my hair while on this quest. We settled on a partial highlight, lowlight, trim, blow dry and style. It's very difficult to find stylists that know what they are doing with platinum blonde hair, but never had a problem with Anne, never got damaged, over processed etc. I highly recommend her! read more

Shazz did not listen to what I wanted, nor did she try to understand what I wanted. Shazz seemed rushed from the moment we met and made me feel as though I was an inconvenience. Shaz rushed through the balayage, did a sloppy job (not properly blending and leaving splotches along my bangs and dye marks on my neck) and overcharged. First haircut here, booked with Stephanie. Stephanie looks like a DCC cheerleader but with the wisdom of Yoda, I learned so much while sitting in her chair. I only got a haircut, nothing fancy, but Stephanie cut my bangs PERFECTLY and put all the layers and movement back in my hair. She also used cool techniques with round brushes to style my hair. I really loved the girl who did my hair, my hair is black and she gave me a blond highlights and lightened my ombré. The only down fall is that she worked on 2 other people while my hair was processing and then had another girl finish my blow dry style, this was fine with me because the girl who did my color was really sweet to me. read more

I have long, thick, curly hair and it's definitely not the easiest to manage, but I trust Anne to always color and cut my hair just how I like it. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I went in there to get a hair cut. I have bleach blonde hair but couldn't afford right at this moment to get my roots done. Sandy convinced me to do some kind of root lift so at least my roots weren't so dark. Well, when she got done with that and washed it, my roots were orange. I told her that doesn't look good. She said ok, and proceeded to put actual color on my roots, and I thought it would be better. I had the color in my hair for an hour and then they washed it out and it was still orange. I was furious as I start a brand new job on Monday. I told them it looked horrible and she said if I didn't like it then I don't have to pay....so I didn't pay and I walked out. I got home and dried my hair to see what it actually looked like completely done. My hair cut is supposed to be a bob and it looked like I had 3 different cuts. She cut my hair straight across in the back of my hair and it was all uneven. The front of my hair on each side wasn't even either. Save yourself and don't go there. You will thank me later. She was very nice and enjoyed talking with her but that only goes so far when you completely butcher my hair. read more
