A group of six of us arrived here about 8pm. It was about half full but we were seated right away.
The place is decorated to have a western US theme. It felt a little cheesy for us that live in Reno, Nevada but it also appeared to have some real effort involved. A US Western themed restaurant serving traditional Italian dishes also felt a little odd while visiting a more remote area of Italy.
We reviewed the menu and made some choices. We decided to get a carafe of their house red sparkling wine and a few of us ordered their beer on tap. Some of us ordered pizza and others ordered calzone, spaghetti, and mussels and clams. There were also a couple of appetizers ordered.
Our food arrived in a timely fashion and everything looked really good. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was amazing. The house wine was really good. The mussels and clams very good. The spaghetti bolognese was awesome. (He kept saying ummm and yummm.) And the pizza's and calzone were also delicous. The pizzas were a little bit thicker crust than the other place we stopped but still very good.
We were amazed that six of us could have an awesome dinner and drinks at this place for less than 100 euro. And the service was great as well.
Four stars, not five because of the cheesy theme. Otherwise it was awesome. read more
