The location and set up with outside seating is great. The atmosphere was comfortable. The restaurant, seating areas and restrooms were very clean. The miga tacos were very tasty & filling and they were prepared very timely. I really felt sorry for the young lady working the register since she accidentally grabbed her attitude from the car when she got to work rather than grabbing her pleasant personality and a desire to great folks that go there to spend money in a manner that will have them re-visit the restaurant! The food was decent I give the drinks a 10/10 but the service was not good at all it was 8:58pm and we understood they close at 9pm and they pretty much kicked us out with us not being done with our drinks. I've been back a couple more times and encountered the same issues so I've stopped spending money at this restaurant. It's too bad because it's super convenient for me. There are simply too many great places in the area that have great food AND great customer service in the area. My favorite for breakfast and lunch tacos is currently Taqueria El Ranchito just down the road at 414 University. Great tacos for less than $2 each. They have some of the best tacos in Fort Worth. I love the burritos too- especially the barbacoa. Sometimes I add a fried egg because yolk makes everything better. I also like the tacos- especially the el capitans. That's a flour tortillas heated up with melted, delicious cheese, used as a base for all your meaty goodness. The tacos have so much favor, my mouth is in heaven. I had there barbacoa tacos. The tortillas are fried in a little butter, which makes them deliciously warm, and slightly crispy. Perfectly fine. The barbacoa is really meaty, and topped with tangy cabbage, onion, and cilantro. The pickled tanginess of the cabbage compliments the strong meatiness of the barbacoa. The tacos were so good, I had to try the asada and pastor tacos as well. Both were marinated perfectly. I found that I preferred the pastor tacos with the piquin red salsa, w hich is very spicy work a smokey flavor. The asada was marinated and tender. It was delicious with the green jalapeno salsa. The lady who runs Salsa Limon was very nice and gave me samples of different meat fillings when I asked her which one was better. Salsa Limon is ridiculously delicious. I've been coming to Salsa Limon for years. Recently visited the new location on White Settlement Road and it was fantastic! Loved the outdoor seating area. It's really perfect. It's covered by canopies and trees so it felt pleasant even on a 90 degree day. (There is a fly problem outside that I hope will be addressed- dozens of flies buzzing all around making it hard to enjoy the tacos!) Whatever taco fillings I order, I always prefer them El Capitan-style in a flour tort. They are delicious, no doubt. All of their salsas are super spicy so douse at your own risk! There's a super cute bar trailer outside where you can order beer, margs, michelados and more. I recommended the strawberry margarita on the rocks. Not too sweet, a little tangy, but very delicious and refreshing. read more

I went with friends an hour before they closed which fyi already were planning to not take long. The guy at the encounter started off okay, told us we had just made it in time to order. Well we were halfway eating when the guy came up and said that they had been closed for a while and were waiting on us and if we wanted to go boxes which we said yes and looked at the clock. We still had 30 mins before they actually closed since the sign said they close at 10 on mondays. The guy then comes back throws the boxes and said " we are leaving in 10 mins so."aside from the attitude, I think his comments were rude and basically kicked us out in a way. Very disappointed. We were looking forward to eating here after reading the reviews. I ordered the pastor and barbacoa tacos. I asked to remove the cabbage which might have been to hide all the fat that I received in my tacos. I will say the barbacoa taco had very good flavor. The corn tortillas were good which is why I va e them 2 stars. Once I removed the chucks of fat, I felt like I barely had any meat. Then the pastor, I had to throw half of it away. These tacos were definitely street taco size but the cost should be $2 dollar or less. Instead they charge $4.25, not worth coming back. We ended up leaving and going to Velvet Taco. read more

Way above expectations. Went here for a burrito and it was probably my second most favorite burrito I've ever had. The chicken burrito was delicious, fresh, hot, and very easy to handle. This place is awesome when it's open. The tacos are amazing. The food is always lukewarm not hot but delicious. However since this location became a food truck and they moved the building to the River District it has not been the same. They are constantly out of chips or any other odd thing you order. Worst of all is that this truck has no set hours it just opens and closes on a whim sometimes you'll walk up thinking it's open, but no it's closed and just parked. Other times you'll walk up and it looks open just for the person inside to tell you it's closed when you try to order, it has no set hours. YUMMY! I highly recommend the al pastor, barbacoa, and lengua tacos! They are served with tasty pickled cabbage, diced white onions, and cilantro for extra flavor. I love the green sauce and the orange habanero sauce and it's worth the sniffles that I get from eating spicy foods haha. The tacos are so cheap but addicting and delicious! For a sweet drink to cool down your tongue after eating the spicy sauces, try the sweet milk drink that is spiced with a dash of cinnamon. This location has a cute patio area and the parking is easy and convenient. I'm so glad my friend visiting from out of town enjoyed this place and wanted to take pictures on the lovely patio once the sun set and it got dark so we could enjoy the string lights.
