I'm sorry to say that after eating here today, I will not be back. It's very cramped and unappealing inside. Everything looks kind of cluttered and haphazard. The two women working did not acknowledge me in any way as they talked with the kitchen staff for several minutes while I stood a few feet in front of them at the counter. I was the only customer. Finally I said "I'd like to place a take out order please." Neither of the employees spoke but just raised their eyebrows so I said I wanted the veggie quesadilla. They wordlessly nodded and pointed to the credit card machine. I politely said I would pay cash and the one woman stared at me without responding and the second woman turned away to speak with kitchen staff again. The first woman took my cash and handed me change, again without any facial expressions or saying anything at all. It was damn eerie! The quesadilla came out quickly and could have been made by a 10 year old. Some shredded flavorless cheese between two undercooked store bought tortillas with some thawed-from-frozen unseasoned mixed broccoli/mushrooms, bland rice, and a beans from a can on the side. For flavor they gave me a tiny cup of warm sour cream and a tiny cup of sour green salsa. Two stars because it was edible and only cost $11.00. The service is wonderful. They're very patient and take their time to make sure that you have everything just right. Very friendly, very kind, and just overall wonderful people! Wow, I was very impressed with everything about Salsa Salsa! Met by a very nice lady who was my server. Ordered the chicken tacos. Very fresh and tasty ingredients. Soft tortillas were perfect, and did not fall apart. Adding the mild salsa, onions, cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime made all of the flavors pop! Chicken had a nice grilled flavor. The only bad part was getting down to the last few bites and realizing that I was done with my lunch. The portion size was just right. I left there full and satisfied. Can't wait to go back again. Best local Mexican food by far!! We recently moved to Point Pleasant from California and it's been a challenge to find solid Mexican food. This place offers great chips and salsa! Their rice and beans are legit and their entrees are really really good. So far, we've tried their green chicken enchiladas, camarones a la diabla, tacos, burrito, and a molcajete and have yet to be disappointed. Fantastic! This is an authentic, family run Mexican restaurant. The staff are friendly and accommodating (my kids don't want peppers, jalapeños etc). The food is delivered within the time window stated - tonight they said 35 minutes and it arrived just under 30 minutes. The food is fabulous. The burritos are really tasty - i love the steak and my husband thinks the carnitas is the way to go. Tonight we tried the nachos supreme - never had better nachos (but make sure you have guests - it was way too much for the 2 of us!). In the past we have tried their sopes (delicious), tacos are delicious too. My son tried a sandwich tonight and the bread alone was fantastic. This is a small little Mexican restaurant, it looks family owned and operated front the looks of it. The people were nice and took our order and got us our food fairly fast, mind you, it did not appear too busy, Friday afternoon at 4 ish. Anyway I got a chicken enchilada and a chicken chimichanga, they were both delicious. They included rice and beans with the order which made the portions very large, my partner and I finished half of both plates and took the rest home. All in all the food was good, the service was fast, and it was good for a small Mexican restaurant, I'll tell you what, it appears to be authentic Mexican food that they eat at home. This place would be great for Lunch or midday meal snack. Prices were reasonable within what would find. I'd give it 4 starts for authentic Mexican good, the restaurant is just a mom and pop establishment with 6-8 sit down tables. It is definitely a welcoming environment to sit and eat, most of the time it'll probably would be better as a take out spot as it would be slightly difficult to accommodate very large parties. read more

The people were so friendly and efficient; I think the more I joked with the counterman, the higher the kitchen guy piled the ingredients.
