Our server was very attentive and helpful with our meal selection. While the biscuit breakfast comes with scrambled eggs they were kind enough to make mine over medium and also extra crispy bacon. The freshly made to order biscuits were so delicious with the butter and jams. We order the chocolate chip cookie skillet and it comes à la mode. Be warned it's HOT! I burned my tongue and it was so worth it. I would recommend asking for a second scoop of ice cream as it felt a little small in comparison to the size of the cookie. But get this dessert! At my daughter suggestion with family in town from far away cities, we chose Salt and Acres as our meeting place on a warm fall weekend. The first thing that grabs you as you're driving through the back, roads of Weld County among farms and ranches is the warmth of this location with trees, a long drive and a small pond. It truly is a picturesque setting and some families were already walking around the pond and nearby grounds taking family photos. We had a small wait for our table, which was not unexpected since had a large group. The drink options were amazing and the bartenders on duty did not disappoint with their preparations. The menu however, was great for those who were seeking carbs, but left something to be desired if you were seeking any protein options. We started with the Charcuterie and Bruschetta Barrata boards along with the Warm Spinach and Artichoke dip. A couple of flatbread pizzas wrapped up the dinner options for us. We were celebrating a birthday and brought a cake in the staff was kind enough to let us keep it in the cooler until it was time to be served. With almost every table filled outdoors and indoors, the staff did a good job of keeping up with our tables needs and balancing the other tables in their respective stations. We did have to seek out our waiter a couple of times to order additional items but they were quite busy. This place is ideal for a light, relaxing meal with drinks and the company of friends. We had hoped to enjoy the grounds outside but there was too much rain, so we were grateful that it was quiet enough that they could move the reservation inside. Salt & Acres is a unique, upscale dining and event space, despite being in a remote, seemingly farm field. Dishes are more of a small plate, appetizer-type for dinner, and brunch has a good variety as well. Their wines are delicious and they have very unique cocktails. Worth a trek out there. The space and vibes are really nice and it's in a beautiful setting. Service was great too and everyone was super nice. The food was just ok for the price though. We ordered the ham frittata, which was a bit dry and also flavorless, and the fruit and cheese board, which we didn't finish because some of the fruit was going bad already. The cheese was fine, it was a brie with honey on it. My partner and I also got a wine flight each and none of the wines were super special to me, although my partner did like the Pinot grigio a lot. Amazing food, wine, and atmosphere. The staff knew their menu and took time to make sure needs were met. Pictures do not do this place justice! You can sit on the pond, outdoor seating or indoor. The building is incredibly detailed in both design and decor. You can have big groups (up to 24) to celebrate special occasions. Prices are great and the wine list and cocktails are great. This place would be wonderful for a wedding, shower, mom's day, etc. for those that don't do wine they also offer a bourbon flight of local bourbon. We visited Salt and Acres over Thanksgiving weekend and had the last reservation of the evening at 6:45. The restaurant itself is really cute and quaint, with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. When we arrived, there was a large party finishing dinner and one other couple dining. The service was wonderful. Our waiter was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience feel relaxed and comfortable. They shared that all of the food is made in-house, which we really appreciated. Although it was a bit noisy due to the larger party, the staff handled everything with care and even comped a dessert for us, which was an incredibly kind and thoughtful gesture. As for the food, it was okay. While it wasn't our favorite meal, it certainly wasn't terrible, and you can tell effort and intention go into the preparation. We also love supporting family-run, locally owned businesses and truly value those kinds of dining experiences. There's something special about them, and that's a big reason we're excited to come back and try Salt and Acres again--especially during the summer when the outdoor deck is open and the weather is warmer. This was the perfect place for date night! It is kind of far out east but so worth the trip. Such cute swanky decor, excellent drinks and food, and the staff was super nice. Our waitress was the best. After dinner they made us drinks in plastic cups, and we went and walked around the grounds. It was near sunset and it looked so pretty over the pond outside. The brunch was bad. And I mean really bad. The scrambled eggs that came out were wet and gross. Maybe the sorriest egg breakfast I've ever seen. Went on a Sunday where the only things they had were "brunch". When i asked for salt and pepper it took about 4 different servers to figure out how to make it happen because that's not a common thing to have ready for people, or people that ask for it. They messed up our table reservation. They totally missed two orders at the table and apparently didn't submit them to the kitchen and weren't nice about the mistake they made. From there she told us we had no reservation, we found the confirmation email and her response was "we can move past this now, thanks". The waitress was subpar, not friendly not much personality, never asked to refill out drinks, RUSHED us out there like there was a fire. When I asked what kind of ice cream was in my ice cream sandwich, she said (very annoyed) "I don't know, something from Italy", geesh just a question.
