    Wine flights

The space and vibes are really nice and it's in a beautiful setting. Service was great too and everyone was super nice. The food was just ok for the price though. We ordered the ham frittata, which was a bit dry and also flavorless, and the fruit and cheese board, which we didn't finish because some of the fruit was going bad already. The cheese was fine, it was a brie with honey on it. My partner and I also got a wine flight each and none of the wines were super special to me, although my partner did like the Pinot grigio a lot. We would come back but maybe just for some wine and to walk around the beautiful property.

Amazing food, wine, and atmosphere. The staff knew their menu and took time to make sure needs were met. Pictures do not do this place justice! You can sit on the pond, outdoor seating or indoor. The building is incredibly detailed in both design and decor. You can have big groups (up to 24) to celebrate special occasions. Prices are great and the wine list and cocktails are great. This place would be wonderful for a wedding, shower, mom's day, etc. for those that don't do wine they also offer a bourbon flight of local bourbon. I hope my review did this place the honor it deserves. It was truly amazing! Will definitely come back again!

We visited Salt and Acres over Thanksgiving weekend and had the last reservation of the evening at 6:45. The restaurant itself is really cute and quaint, with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. When we arrived, there was a large party finishing dinner and one other couple dining. The service was wonderful. Our waiter was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience feel relaxed and comfortable. They shared that all of the food is made in-house, which we really appreciated. Although it was a bit noisy due to the larger party, the staff handled everything with care and even comped a dessert for us, which was an incredibly kind and thoughtful gesture. As for the food, it was okay. While it wasn't our favorite meal, it certainly wasn't terrible, and you can tell effort and intention go into the preparation. We also love supporting family-run, locally owned businesses and truly value those kinds of dining experiences. There's something special about them, and that's a big reason we're excited to come back and try Salt and Acres again--especially during the summer when the outdoor deck is open and the weather is warmer. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, with the service and heart behind the restaurant being real highlights.

I've been here three times now because I love the atmosphere but honestly the food is disappointing every single time. Flatbreads are always burnt & barely have any toppings. Service was good 2/3 times. I probably will not come here again unless it's only for the cocktails.

This is such a beautiful unique venue! It's set out in the country with spectacular views! The tasting room is beautiful with a decent amount of seating not to mention their beautiful patio area has plenty of seating as well! We were very impressed with their flatbread, pizzas and artichoke dip. Their menu was quite large for a smaller winery! Staff wasn't overly friendly, but still did good with serving us drinks and food..overall I would highly recommend!

This is 5star service and 5star food through and through! No matter the distance, a meal at Salt & Acres is WORTH IT! I am yet to try something on the menu that is mediocre. In fact, my problem is not ordering that same things over and over again - lucky for me, their focus on all things seasonal keeps the menu fresh and exciting. Brunch is by far my favorite experience (but I'm biased) and their brunch cocktail menu does not disappoint. My favorite most genuine aspect of Salt & Acre is that this is truly a family a affair; from the dad running the coffee stand and mom on merchandise and many more, even as a patron I feel absolutely loved. This place is at the top of my list when guests are in town and you need to make it your go-to place as well.

My friend and I had the best time here! We LOVED the gluten free flatbread & the wine flight. The atmosphere is so modern chic, I felt very classy here & loved it! The food and drinks options are amazing here! The service was so friendly and very consistent and helpful. I loved my interaction with everyone at Salt & Acres! I highly recommend this winery!

We had a wonderful afternoon here today, food was outstanding, ambiance is amazing. Server was also amazing and knowledgeable we will definitely come back to this gem. Don't forget to stop by the store. They have the cutest stuff.

Sat on the deck with the beautiful weather. Service was attentive and kind, which is a cherry on top to the awesome food. The bread came out hot and was melt in your mouth good. The seasonal ravioli was incredible in every aspect from the soft filling to the brown butter. Ended the meal with the cookie skillet that was indulging and not overly sweet. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends!

This was the perfect place for date night! It is kind of far out east but so worth the trip. Such cute swanky decor, excellent drinks and food, and the staff was super nice. Our waitress was the best. After dinner they made us drinks in plastic cups, and we went and walked around the grounds. It was near sunset and it looked so pretty over the pond outside. We played giant connect 4 and cornhole and sat by the water. Then we went back to the restaurant and got a s'mores kit brought to our table with a little fire. So much fun! Definitely check this place out.

When I came I saw that this place is basically a smaller mom-and-pops winery, which offered 4 of their own wines, including other wines that they imported and fermented themselves. I ended up buying a single glass of their white wine. I had a good time and the prices weren't bad. Plus, they had a few cute pups (Tucker the Golden Retriever!) come up to me to keep me company. The owner, William,…read morewas already visibly intoxicated (with 2 glasses of wine for himself nearby, a red and a white). Pretty quickly over the following 60 minutes he became verbally aggressive, psychologically abusive, and patronizing to myself and my girlfriends. I have NEVER in my life had this experience, and I have traveled all over the US and the world, interacting with thousands of people from countless cultures. William literally flipped a switch and began telling us "I have kicked people out of here before who were above you, and you are here" indicating with his hands that we were below whomever he had an experience with in the past. He also told one of my girlfriends that she doesn't know wine and that she is a "condescending bitch", because she was engaged in a conversation with him about his wines. I invited William to sit at our table with us early on (which he did) and when he switched to the drunk monster that he truly is, I saw it in his eyes. It is VERY obvious that this individual has LOTS of issues he needs to work through and is currently using alcohol as a coping mechanism, while also verbally assaulting his female customers. Unfortunately, we were the only 3 people in the tasting room and had we had a male with us, we surely would not have had the same experience. I immediately began to shut down (trauma response) and tears began streaming down my face. Normally with this type of male (gaslighting, condescending, and toxic to the nth degree), I would have been overly confrontational but the things he said and the look in his eyes, I knew that it was in my best physical health to not fully engage. I looked at him right before we left and said "I want you to know that this feeling, the tears I can't control, are real and you alone caused this". He then made fun of me for my tears and told us to leave as we were trying to pay. We obviously left and were and still are in complete shock. This individual needs to not only seek mental and substance use help but also should not be running a winery. Do NOT go to Ten Bears, especially if you are alone, are a group of women, and/or care about the safety of women. Ladies, go to Sweetheart Winery in Loveland, never had an issue there.

We also heard a new deck area is coming soon, plus plans for a paella night--which honestly sounds amazing and gives us even more reason to come back. One word of caution, though. Not to put you off visiting, but just a heads up: Larimer County only allows the winery to have 11 vehicles in their parking lot. A wine tasting reservation does secure you a spot. Long version - we were visiting Loveland, CO (from Phoenix, AZ) for a very short trip & wanted to cram in as much as we possibly could. Blendings was one of the first wineries we found doing a Google search for the area. What a fantastic place, no joke. We made the reservation online, and not gonna lie, I got nervous about the 11-car limit. I sent an e-mail to a couple of their "Contact Us" addresses. One did not go through. When I reached out to them via Facebook, someone replied almost immediately, thanking me for letting them know about the bad e-mail & also confirming that yes, a tasting reservation guarantees your car has a spot in their parking lot. Now that is excellent customer service. When we arrived this particular Thursday for our 4 o'clock reservation, it was to a gorgeous spot. Green vineyards, a babbling brook, a gorgeous & well decorated eating / tasting area, a beautiful patio for more tasting ambiance, plus a couple more covered areas in their small side yard. Katie welcomed us with a cheery hello & bright smile. She was very friendly as we navigated through our confusion over the reservation. She was giving us a 4-flight tasting when we reserved the Blendings Experience (6 flights, charcuterie plate, bottle to take home) ... or so we thought. Turns out, we weren't paying attention to their website when we signed up & clicked on the other link, the one for the 4-flight tasting. She was super sweet though & said the Blendings master could be there in 30 min if we wanted to go that route. Not wanting to rush anyone because of our screw up -- and because we were thirsty now! :-) -- we opted to go w/ the normal tasting. What a treat that was. Probably a good thing, too, because the flights were generous pours; I don't think I could have handled 2 more pours. LOL! With all the wine consumption, we ordered a veggie plate, as well as a charcuterie plate. Plus, Katie gave us some spicy saltines to go with it. Tasty! The hummus w/ the veggies had a little kick to it, & the small pita pockets were perfect. The charcuterie plate had some wonderful cheese slices, a nice selection of olives (you could choose to go w/ nuts instead of olives), plus the meat & crackers. It was so good we ordered a 2nd charcuterie. There was an excellent selection of wines to choose from the tasting menu. One or two I wanted they were out of, but we were also able to substitute from their other selections. They also had a couple special seasonal wines, as well as some cocktails, on top of a few frozen wine slushie concoctions. Too many choices. We totally should have taken an Uber/Lyft. Ha Ha! We got through our flights, then tried a few of their cocktails: Old Fashioned, Lavender Lemonade, and one of their frozen. Every single one was delicious. All in all, we spent a couple hours at Blendings. We could have spent so much longer, but then we totally would have needed a ride home. We bought a few bottles of their sweet wines: Strawberry Blonde, Caramel Apple, and Blue Me Away. It was a hard decision to make, which bottles to buy. If you are ever in the Fort Collins or Loveland area and want to have a fantastic wine-tasting experience, you should reserve a tasting at Blendings Winery. You'll have a memorable experience.
