We each had the swiss burger and the buns were lightly toasted, the mushrooms and tasty and the burger patty itself was OK (a tad overcooked, but decent). All in all, it needed a little ketchup, but was tasty. We also got a choice of tots, fries or slaw with the burger, which is nice to see (and no upcharges for either choice). All in all, for under $20, we had a nice evening meal and got to enjoy a live band. The crowd is older, but the place is lively and efficient on the right nights. Don't be intimidated -- you may need to seat yourself once you walk in, we were a little confused when we walked in, but as we sat down someone took our order and things were smooth from there on it. There is a loft with gorgeous arched doors that open up to showcase a beautiful blue Minnesota sky and cloud---such a breathtaking vision. The main barn inside lower level has a lot of wood and exposed stone --the space is large enough to house people yet remain intimate due to the aesthetic. Milton, Jen, Nick and Kyle are the only three names I can recall offhand, but we dealt with a dozen in our two month stay and every last one from housekeeping to the manager was incredibly friendly, helpful and bent over backwards for any request. She wasn't demanding at all, but very friendly and kind and acted like she had known me for years! She made our photography very enjoyable. The pictures she took were not only abundant, but phenomenal in quality. She really captured our special day in the best light possible and I couldn't be more thankful. As my husband is in a wheelchair, she also works excellently with people with special needs and made our pictures reflect how beautiful our love for each other is. I would recommend her to ANYONE and I would rehire her in a heart beat.
