Took twenty min to find the attendant when we were dropping off our laundry. Then she didn't…read moreexplain the laundry service or the process to us and I even explained that it was our first time ever using a laundry service! The laundry was not weighed in front of us nor did she write down everything we brought in to make sure it was returned safely to us! When I picked it up I was very impressed on how nice my uniforms for work were hung and all my blankets were folded and towels and sheets were bagged for us! But I noticed my shoes were missing immediately and told the attendant that it didn't look like everything we brought in was there. She said if I got home and anything was missing let her know! Well we got home and almost all of our winter clothes were missing. Four pair of jeans about 8 hoodies a couple sweaters some tank tops a few pair of leggings some name brand takers ! Everything was name brand and expensive that was missing! Including my shoes! So I don't know if they accidentally gave my stuff away to someone else or someone that worked at the laundry stole it! Regardless when I told the attendant her boss only offered me $325 and refused to speak to me! So now I am presssing charges on Laundry world and whoever did my laundry for theft because I didn't take my laundry there to be sold I took it there to be washed and dryer and folded and returned to me and I payed for that service only to be ripped off by the merchant! My advice do not ever go here! Don't take anything here you value because you won't get it back!

Horstman's is the best place in town, and I'm not saying that just because they are the only dry…read morecleaners in town. I moved to Carbondale not realizing how small of a city it was. I found a dry cleaner on the corner one day and dropped off some suits I got from a thrift store. Horstman's had those $7 suits looking like they cost $100 each! I was impressed. I next took my king bed comforter to get cleaned. Again, like magic, they performed a great job in a few days. I am impressed with this small locally owned business, especially because it is the only dry cleaning service in Carbondale and it manages to maintain this level of quality service on a regular basis without extensive delays. I am happy to claim Horstman's as my dry cleaner for all of my needs now and in the future. When you drop your items off, tell them Kindra Speech sent ya!

Doesn't anyone check periodically to make sure the food is up to date? Both Texas Honey Buns had a best by date of February 5, 2022. He bought one last week and one yesterday. We won't be putting another dollar into your vending machines until you can make sure someone checks for expired food. I hear there is a new laundromat coming to Murphysboro soon. That will be a great improvement over what we have now.
