This was another one of those TikTok thrifting shops and another short drive. Plenty of parking. On entering Salvage Angel I was not expecting the layout I saw. It was so cute, it looked like little section shops with each section having its own unique style. There was soooooo many items I honestly could have left with a lot more but I had to control myself. Great selection of vintage items and some unique pieces. The prices range but still reasonably priced. The young ladies at checkout were so sweet, they loved the custom tapestry Mickey jacket I made and said I should look into selling a few of my pieces. Ooooh what fun, funky, weird and wonderful finds at this vintage co-op and consignment warehouse in an awesome old brick mill. Vintage fashion, unique items of yesteryear, and new artisan crafts and practical gifts are meticulously displayed in attractive booths from different owners. Excellent reuse of a historic building. The entrance is #12, just past the overhang connecting this old mill to another terrific old brick mill (that hasn't had a renaissance just yet). You may wonder if this shop is still open, but it is just set back a bit. Worth seeking out! read more

This is the coolest shop ever. I'm a vintage queen and I love this place. This is an assortment of rented spaces that people bring their own style and selection of goods to, They are all unique and full of wonderful things. Very friendly staff and super cool location. This place is huge! They have a great variety of small curated "mini-shops" within it. You have everything from furniture to plants to vintage clothes to jewelry to "new" locally made clothing to books to home decor. We spent about an hour poking around in each section. The prices ranged from really reasonable to like $10-20 more than I would pay for the item so it was definitely a mix but not too bad. Overall it's a fun vibe and I will definitely return! read more

not a single employee working and the lights were all off. tried to fine someone to turn the lights on and there was nobody. it was open. i checked. whats the point of being open if there are no lights and nobody wokring to check you out? so disappointed. was my second time here and i was really excited because i had a great time last time. there were bags behind the counter being held for customers because "nobody was working" and they couldn't pay. seems like a bad business model. read more

I used to LOVE this place!! I have so many cool pieces in my house that I've collected from SA over the last few years. I hadn't been in about 5-6 months and just went today. I was so sad to see that it is now mostly clothes. All of the cool little "shops" that sold decor, jewelry, candles, etc were mostly gone. Whereas before it was 50/50 clothes and decor, now it is more like 95/5. I won't be returning which makes me so sad but I'm not really in need of an 80s house dress at the moment. read more

I wish I could review the goods and the customer service staff separately. The store has a wonderful selection of vintage goods and curated finds/handmade goods from a collection of vendors. The prices are generally way more reasonable than elsewhere, and I found some great items! But, I was also trailed around the entire store by staff. I tested it, just to make sure I wasn't being paranoid, doubling back a few times, and sure enough, the same employee was there, right behind me, pretending to dust or rearrange items on a shelf. Finally, tired of being treated like a criminal, I loudly told the person I called on my cell that while I loved this store I'd found, I "DIDN'T CARE FOR GETTING FOLLOWED AROUND IT BY ITS EMPLOYEES" & I saw the employee look over in shock. And then, she actually took out her phone, photographed the vendor's stall we were standing in (presumably to ensure if I stole anything she'd be able to tell) before leaving. I had also, upon arrival, given the cashier two felted hoops from the Leaf Pile Studios display to hold for me while I shopped, so they wouldn't be purchased/I didn't have to carry them throughout the store. When I got to the register to check-out, I saw the hoops were back on-display. I asked the cashier/her assistant about them, they ignore me. I waited till they finished ringing me up, then asked again. Response: "oh, sorry, after a while they start getting antsy." I guess "they" is the ownership? So, if you shop here, you'll have to balance your tolerance for racism against purchasing great stuff from cool shops. Or, just look up the individual shops online, and save them giving a cut of their profits to this place. And btw, to the Salvage Angel employee who needs to get a life, I spent $290 at your store, so you know where you can go. read more

This store had a large collection of items and was clean but I would call it an indoor flea market as opposed to vintage.

Truly dreadful communication. They don't answer their phone during business hours and don't reply to messages. Attempted to buy an item for my wedding but their horrible customer service put me off. Would not recommend to others and will never attempt to do business with them again. read more
