It's managed by a charming gentleman who greeted me warmly and even though they had no table available (and certainly not one he was going to give up for just one person) he sat me at the bar, gave me a drink and the menu and made sure I was quite happy until a small table opened up. For my appetizer I choose my favorite dish of roast beef carpaccio which was truly delicious and perfectly partnered with a glass of their many wines. Of course with plenty of bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The menus are available via a number of blackboards which together with the stone pillars, cozy feel and Italian waiters and waitresses (who speak Italian, English, German, Turkish and probably more) all add to the rustic, authentic and welcoming feel of the restaurant. My main dish of pasta was equally delicious with ham and cheese mmmm. Plus a glass of red wine that he opened specifically for me (not from the 'open wine' menu). Coming from the US, I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff without the pushiness you often experience in the US, they truly would have been ok with me occupying the table for the whole night.
