Most op shops reside on the first floor of an old building, cramped full of miscellaneous goods. Not so for Salvation Army Royal Oak. This is the main centre for drop offs , as well as having the headquarters for the local Corps upstairs. The shop itself is big and spacious, with lots of light streaming in the bay windows on the side. There is a lot of stuff here, with a sizable men's selection, which is more then can be said about a lot of other op shops. They have quite a lot of books as well, and furniture and knick nacks take up about half the shop. Well worth a browse through , you are almost guaranteed to walk out with something. read more
