Let me set the scene. It was a cold and rainy summer afternoon and it was too early to check into…read moreour hostel. We decided to wander about and see what was open nearby. We expected to find nothing open as it was a Sunday afternoon in a not-that-touristy area. At first glance this place looked closed, but (waaaaait for it...) it was actually open and pretty packed.
My friend and I obvioulsy went in (we're like ninja turtles and can't say no to pizza). The menu was quite large. I ended up ordering the Pizza Gelsomi, which had mozzarella, asparagus, oregano, and an egg on it. I ate the entire thing #judgementfreezone. My friend ordered a Quattro Stagioni Pizza, which she said was incredible. She lived in Italy before, so she knows her stuff.
We definintely stayed a half hour past their closing time (I think they close for a bit between lunch and dinner hours), but they didn't rush us or kick us out. In fact, we had to flag down our waiter to get our check.
Recommend.
