Superb with more choices of food and snacks, alcohol, soft beverages and wine. Couches, recliners, tables for many guests. Very clean, well stocked. Best out of Honolulu and Dan Diego so far.

This lounge is only accessible after going through customs. If you're here with Priority Pass, the other Salon VIP lounges actually won't let you in if you're flying to the States since they want you to go to this one after customs. Once checked in, there's a buffet area and a large seating area that overlooks the rest of the airport inside. This lounge is definitely spacious with many couches, lounge chairs, and working stations. While there's a variety of food options, nothing that too spectacular. They offer pastries, hot dog, soups, wraps, sandwiches, and breads which were just decent. I can't complain about free food, but wish there were more savory meat options for a fulfilling meal. Also, some of the charging outlets weren't working, so I had to move seats until I found one that works.

This airport lounge was accessible to me with my Priority Pass card. After a wild morning in the Barcelona airport, discovering the airlines changed my flight home while I was at sea, and now had no tickets home. I spent over an hour rebooking with United and $3000 later. I needed a lounge to relax in. The lounge was well marked. Greeted as I entered. A very large lounge with various area of seating. But almost all of the areas were dirty. Used dishes and glasses everywhere. I finally found a corner small table to park in and just moved the previous guests' trash to the side and used my own disinfectant wipe on the table. There were several options at 10 am for beverages, snacks and meals. And I was able to partake in the buffet a few times. It was almost two hours into my stay before anyone came by to pick up any used dishes. The restrooms were large and clean. There are even shower rooms available.

Salon VIP - Joan Moro VIP Lounge Barcelona AirPort. Food: Serving hot and cold dishes. There are nice vary of local and traditional food and drinks. Service: Reception desk personnel friendly, professional and accommodating. Ambiance: The lounge overall has a modern vibe also a lot of compartmental spaces where groups or families can feel a sense of privacy. The have a great view of the airport below.

We were able to use this lounge on our way home to the US as we flew in business class. It was located upstairs after you pass through passport control, which took about 30 minutes to get through. The signage was pretty good, and the receptionists were able to give good directions when leaving the lounge to get to my departure gate. In the lounge, there are a multitude of places to sit and relax or eat a preflight meal. At breakfast, there are fresh pastries, traditional catalan foods, and some American options. They switch over to lunch items around 11:30am, and there are salads and hot pasta dishes. I felt the service was a little slow in replenishing the food plates. It was also nice that in the area away from the main food section, there was a separate beverage/snack station and a large bathroom. The second floor lounge overlooks the shopping mezzanine in Terminal 1.

Excellent selection of food and drinks! It's clean and has tons of seating. I particularly loved the little sandwiches and cheese selection.

They kept bringing food out in stages every 15 to 20 minutes and it was one item at a time and since there was no food around people were just flock to it and finish everything that was brought out. The staff was also very slow about cleaning up and there were empty plates and glasses and plates with unwanted leftover food just kept on tables with no people are out so it was not very evident whether or not the tables were being occupied or not. Food options were also quite simple, but there were some things that were especially nice! Love how they had that fresh honey which I added as a salad dressing along with a ketchup and mushroom from the hot dog station. Made a nice salad to be honest. They also brought out some chocolate coated peanuts (they actually had white, milk and dark chocolate options) and this was quite nice! Some of the croissants also had a green filling inside that everyone on the table seemed to love.

Everything is tapas style so small plates but there is a ton of variety from appetizers to soups to desserts. The views of the airport 1st floor are decent and as long as the lounge itself is not crowded, then it is probably one of the nicest options. If you are flying at an off hour within Europe and have Priority Pass, it's worth a stop.

The selection of food is excellent, coffee bar, alcohol, beverages galore. You can sample sandwiches, charcuterie etc. And sparkling wine. Even the snacks were amazing, the best gummy bears ever. Easy 5 stars. Lately lounges have been rejecting priority pass holders, but this place did not disappoint. Staff came around regularly to clean up and service was friendly at check in. Wish all the lounges were like this.

You know those that greet you but don't want to be there or don't really mean it? She says her please and thank yous but with an attitude. This really sets the mood for the lounge. Why have a job dealing with people if you suck at it? The lounge is older looking and dirty and nobody is bothering to pick up plates or wipe down any tables. The food is mediocre with a variety of slice bread choices and dinner rolls but not sure how long they been out there because the rolls were hard as rocks. They also have some cold cut options and spreads to top your bread. Besides that there's yogurt and a couple of nuts to eat. There was a fly buzzing around not sure how it got in here but it did. Drinks were better and consist of a range of juices and sodas and of course water, coffee and some wine. WiFi is open but spotty, and you do have to sign in with an email, facebook, or LinkedIn... not sure why but I made an email and it worked. Restrooms were clean, that's a plus. Only downside is this lounge is the only one available in terminal 2. If you're flying out of Barcelona and you happen to be in terminal 1 there's better options. Btw I'm almost finished writing this review the dirty plate is still sitting here.
