Covid definitely caused learning delays because most children need interaction to adequately learn new material. That interaction with the person teaching it is the best way. Huntington has a good way of evaluating the type of learner your child is, developing a program for them and presenting the material in a way that helps them strive. My kids are so proud of their progress. We found the price manageable and have worked it into our budget. The kids are happy to go to tutoring because they realize now what they are getting out of the time at the learning center. We cannot say enough good things about HLC on Silverside. We purchased a big block (spent about $8,000) since it was less expensive per hour and he was only in 5th grade at the time, so figured we would use it down the road, or if nothing else, for his SAT prep. When we purchased the sessions and he started going, our experience was mostly good. Almost all of the teachers were great and he enjoyed them and definitely benefitted from their extra instruction. Our son did comment that it did take a decent amount of time for them just to get set up and figure out what he needed work on, which is understandable.... but means you probably should schedule for a minimum of 2-3 hours instead of just one for each session length. He is now in 10th grade and has not really needed any extra help or instruction for the past few years. Last year, we received a call to see if he needed anything, and was informed that the program had changed, and that we would not have as many hours remaining as we should have. After insisting that we were still under the old program, I finally got reassurance and an email confirming that. This year, our son has not needed instruction, but I figured he could use a little extra boost at exam time, so I called at 3:30 pm one day and left a voice mail asking for a call back to schedule something. (Outgoing msg says they close at 3 but calls would be returned next business day.) I have called several times since, always getting voicemail, no matter what time of day, and no one ever returns my calls. Not sure what is going on, but this is very frustrating!

I chose Blueprint to study for my second LSAT for a few reasons. I liked that they are a young upstart--I thought that they would take the time to personalize the class experience as much as possible, to compete with the rest of the test prep market. And that was true....I didn't feel like a customer, but instead like a student. The course was unique, positive, sometimes real fun. The LSAT can be so very dry and Blueprint has a great approach. Instead of logic game after logic game, I loved the times when we'd write our own. Like, when six of our classmates--L, D, S, P, T, and B--participated in the Beerlympics. L & D don't play flip cup together, there's three people playing quarters, I play wifflebeer (always, as in real life), etc. Those kinds of activities brought the LSAT down to earth. The course gets more difficult as it progresses, but maintains the humor. I know that their website has a bunch of interesting features but to be honest I rarely used it, other than for scoring my test and looking at question statistics. And studying the sucker answers (effffff those). I did not quite reach my target score, but that is nobody's fault but MY OWN. Blueprint gives you a ton of homework, and I completed only some assignments. I do feel that I successfully learned to read and understand the LSAT for the scheming whore that it is. But, to get the advertised "+11" you apparently must not overlook the homework. I stuck with my Blueprint instructor for help with my applications. He took the time to get to know me and my interests in more detail and helped me to cultivate great ideas for my essays. He was constantly available even for minor questions. I did supplement his counsel with my college prelaw advisor's, and I was glad to have multiple perspectives--on my resume, in particular. In the end, I had killer essays that I was happy to submit. In the real end, I was admitted to my #1 choice with a fat scholarship. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend Blueprint to anyone who's serious about the LSAT and law school.

I understand the education is important but so is the respect shown to the people who PAY for the education. She also shows a great deal of favortism to the children of her friends that attend the school. There are many stories I could tell about this women, as her staff along with herself gossip about one another; as well as talk about other parents. My daughter used to attend until she was hurt at the playground recently. They took the kids to the playground in 39 degree weather and they failed to put a hat on my child. She fell coming off the slide and got cut pretty badly in the middle of her head. The owner showed the BARE minimum sympathy for my child and used the excuse that kids get hurt.
