Just don't take your kids here! I see all the reviews are good and it may be a great hairdresser for women but just don't take your kids here! I took my son and specifically asked for just a bit of a trim at the front and instead the hairdresser chopped off most of his hair! I asked him to stop taking so much off but he said it would look much better this way, much neater. Well it didn't, it looked awful, by far the worst haircut my son has ever had, several people since have questioned what on earth has happened to his hair. Apart from anything else, it's uneven with missing chunks in places. Also the hairdresser was very rude, keeping us waiting for ages while he chatted outside then coming in and distractedly asking what I wanted (ony to do the opposite!) and telling my terrified son that if he moved at all he would get cut with his scissors. So just don't take your kids I only went as they advertised a midweek kids service so I assumed they would know how to deal with kids. Maybe I just got the wrong hairdresser on the wrong day. Anyway, big mistake, will go to trotters next time if my son agrees to ever go for another haircut! read more

I stumbled across this fantastic salon when I was walking down Formosa street to grab a coffee. I initially got Sali to cut my hair and he did an amazing job. After a while I trusted him to do my colour. Quite a big deal for me as I am VERY fussy about my colour and I think it's rare to find an exceptional colourist. SO many people have screwed up my colour in the past. OMG the man is a genius. He is the best colourist on the planet. Sali and his colleagues are also a lot of fun. There's never a dull moment in the salon and they make all of their clients feel like family. If you book a late appointment, don't be surprised if they get a bottle of wine out.
