A selection of insoles are also sold here, for those of you who need that extra bit of foot support. Although I've yet to experience major foot problems, my neighbour frequented the Foot Health Centre for a foot problem I probably shouldn't broadcast to the world. However, he was very impressed with the treatment he received here in addition to the conscientious nature of the staff.

The new orthotics that he provided excelled anything I have had massively in both comfort and weight. I then developed some verrucas and he provided a treatment called Swift (microwave tech) which was completely painless and quick and made all of them go away, it was also much cheaper and more time efficient than all the other different options that work. He is full of fun anecdotes and tips like how to lace your shoes properly which really helps your posture and makes your shoes much more comfortable to wear. Out of all the podiatrists I have seen he is definitely the best and worth coming to see. I would certainly recommend him to all ages!

I've been using this as my chiropodist (although they've now changed their name to Shuropody or…read moresomething similar) for the past year. The service has been great, £30 per appointment but my feet are now in really good shape so I'm down to a 'maintenance' style visit less frequently. Chatty staff how know what they're talking about. I went there as I was suffering from sciatica (herniated lumbar disc) and could not reach my feet,…read morehence I needed some slip-on sandals for work, without heels. The staff were plain rude and ignored me and I had to insist to get some service. Then they seemed to find my walking with a cane and struggling to sit down funny! They also put the boxes of sandals on the floor where I could not reach them (even from a seated position) and would not pick them up to help me. I did buy 2 pairs as I was in acute pain and could not face a 'trip' of 20 meters to another shop, and needed some kind of footwear for work, but I hardly ever wore the pairs as I later found much better ones from my local Brantano in Trowbridge. The sales lady there had worked in a care home, understood I could not touch my feet, and even helped me with the sandals! I can't understand how Scholl can hire staff with such a poor attitude to people in physical pain to man their stores: their speciality is supposed to be foot and back and knee problems, not joggers!

Having difficulty like so many, I went for an appointment where I was assessed, a diagnosis was given and a treatment plan was explained by Sally who was very thorough and knowledgeable. At no point was there any 'hard sell' to book in for treatment. My management plan was explained should I book back in for treatment and I felt totally looked after. I am booking back in as I was filled with confidence that the cause of my symptoms will be treated as opposed to just being given some possible prescription to over come the pain and discomfort I have. If you want an honest, professional and cared for appointment I can't recommend more highly Trowbridge Osteopaths and wellbeing centre.

His research & honest reviews were just what I had on my mind. I used to wear them year ago to no avail & from w I read I thought they had to be helping with my feet, but they steadily got worse so I gave them up. About a year ago I became very desperate with intractable back pain & I became OPIOD intolerant. I ignorantly read on the shoes again about year ago & purchased a $200.00 pair. I could not tolerate them long at all except for short brief periods. My hips & waist felt like a vice grip was squeezing tight as it could go. Followed by knee & ankle swelling. I usually treat myself to a deep tissue massage or a reflexology session if I'm going to splash out on a complementary therapy for relaxation purposes, and at Clifton Medi Spa is was reflexology. While I'm dubious about some of the more ambitious claims of its many benefits, I enjoy it as a straightforward relaxation treatment. I've never had a reflexology session I haven't enjoyed, although some exert more pressure than others. This one was just the right balance, with enough pressure to feel like it's releasing tension, but not enough to be too painful! Pressure on different parts of your feet is intended to alleviate specific health problems, but for me it just leaves me feeling refreshed and like I'm walking on air afterwards. They also offer a range of other health treatments such as podiatry and chiropody, which I haven't tried, alongside their ever expanding range of cosmetic treatments, which I also haven't tried. The owner has teamed up with Dr Alan Wyn Jones of 'Defy Time' to expand the range of cosmetic treatments available at the clinic - and I hear they now offer all sorts from laser treatments to peels, as well as the scary stuff such as injectibles and fillers - but I think I'll be sticking to the massages and reflexology!

The practitioners have always been courteous and genuinely interested in assisting the healing process, always careful to pay attention to the detail.
