I finally had enough of the run around so I fired him and it took an entire month to respond back as he was wanting to grab a irrigation control box that was given to him and he installed it on my property. Given that I didn't want him to have anything over my head I purchased and installed my own. When he got there he decided to drive in the yard to our shed for a box that weighed 2 lbs. I received a call from my wife asking why a truck was by our shed and why he didn't park and walk. Not thinking anything of it I shrugged it off. In the shed hung thousands of dollars of high-end fishing reels that all the sudden went missing. There is an active investigation against Nick, which he has now missed two interviews and has decided to lawyer up. He is living in a camper and moving around so it's been difficult for them to track him down. Thankfully time is on my side and we have a few ideas to help us along the way. There are also rental companies that Nick dodges as he seems to not pay his bills. A google search on your browser or facebook will reveal who this guy is. Don't fall for the excuses like I did. I should have known better that he robs Peter to pay Paul. Nick I am sure you're reading this... I don't go away. I will either see you out and about eventually or every few months I can set baits to see if you take it. The ideas are endless. A few weeks, a few months, a few years.... I have nothing but time.

In mid June 2024 had an underground leak on my sprinkler manifold. Called Paniss Irrigation and…read morespoke with the Fernando (the owner of Paniss Irrigation) who came out the next morning to fix the system. After digging to get access to the leak(s) he showed me the problem and we discussed the options. After 27 years it rapidly became obvious that rebuilding the manifold/valve part of the system with new materials would be the best long term solution. He replaced all of the original (6) valves with new Rainbird PGA valves and new piping. After getting the wiring to the solenoids finished it was time to test and everything is leak free and working perfectly! His pricing is very fair and he was open and honest in his assements and recommendations. We are still out the $2,000 which as repeatedly promised to pay, but has made no effort to make that happen. Beware of this contractor, as he has stolen our money. Well Ray got here, barely looked at the problem, said it would be $336 to replace a $20.00 part, and he didn't have the part, although I had told the scheduler it was a leaky valve.
