The second Sam's Club Gasoline that we stopped for gas during our upper Midwest stop. Unlike the first time when using the Walmart+ app worked flawlessly, this time the app failed because the initial charge on my credit card failed because of a decline due to a security concern. I was able to respond by text that the $1 authorization was legitmate, but from that point forward, the app would not authorize. Without that, I wasn't able to use the pump initially since I don't have a Sam's Club membership. But the nice attendant was able to help, bypassing the membership check and I was able to fill up. Cost was $51.75 for 11.737 gallons at $4.41 for 93 octane. I did try to create a new business entry for this specific fuel station but as sometimes happen, the Yelp AI combined it into the Sam's Club warehouse store. read more

I definitely prefer Costco, but there is none near by. With that said this Sam's is decent! The only place I can afford steaks, their deals are very good. I've been getting tires at Sam's club since the mid 90's. Bought my last set last year. I totally understood when things shut down last year that the tire shop closed (well mostly). But, to have anything done now you now need to make an appointment. Appointments are 2-3 weeks out for this location. So I'm driving 1 hour just to get my tires rotated then another 1 hour home. If this policy was in place when I purchased my tires I'd have gone elsewhere. My local tire shop can get me in that day for a tire rotation on my daughter's car (remember I'm not buying at Sam's Club anymore). So while I learned my lesson, I just wanted others to know about the hassle. If you don't live close don't bother, if you do live close I'd still go local. My local shop was so much more helpful with knowledge about tires and actually explained why he was recommending a brand over another. Sam's Club Tire = Poor after the sale service. read more

tried to get a receipt for a previous purchase , for a warranty on a very expensive I-power generator that worked one time and quit. they could only provide a picture of screen at store and I have to have receipt. won't ever shop at this sams again. lesson- have receipt emailed at time of purchase because if you wait , you will not get it. so now I got junk that I purchased from Paducah sams. thanks read more

Wonders if the last visit indicates that Sam's is going in a new direction (Not Good) Visiting this club is a 140 mile round trip. We have a few staple items on our list that we have felt justifies this pilgrimage. We have found that Sam's seems to be undergoing significant item changes. A PAINFUL example, we visit the Sam's here or at Clarksville, TN to get unpasteurized Tropicana Orange Juice. Although the price seemed to moving up substantially over the last year, during this last visit, unpasteurized Tropicana was missing completely. When we asked one of the staff, he confirmed they had dropped Tropicana in favor of their store brand (MembersMark). Adding to the problem, they did not yet have the replacement product so we could try a bottle for acceptability. Although for some non-food products, we will purchase the MembersMark brand and find it generally a good value with acceptable quality. Food, not so much. We were also very disappointed by the change in whole carrots and bananas selection as well. Finally, the checkout, normally quick and efficient on a mid Sunday afternoon in the middle of the month, yesterday, was a gruesome ordeal. There were only two full service lines "OPEN" and there were at least 5 parties waiting in each queue. There were a couple of other full service queues completing the checkout for the customers queued previously (headed for much deserved breaks, I am sure). All staff we encountered were helpful, courteous within the scope of their authority. There were just not sufficient number assigned to active checkout. With escalating prices, limited item selection and time consuming checkout, I find the annual premium less justified when considering how far we have to drive to shop there. read more
