Please, stay away from this shady business. Sam, the owner, excels at hiding the true nature of his operations until you're locked into a contract. That's when the real nightmare begins. He operates on a tight budget and brings in inexperienced workers at the last minute, resulting in inferior work. To make things worse, he barely bothers to supervise the work and disappears after a few minutes, leaving the unqualified workers to try to do the job.
Another important point worth to mention is his intimidation tactics. If you do not comply with his demands, he will threaten to place liens on your property, cease the job or repossess the materials.
Beware, as soon as any part of the contract is done, he'll be immediately knocking on your door demanding payment. If you don't pay immediately the threats begin.
If you decide to hire him, make sure that every single detail is spelled out in the contract, from the materials used to the layout of the project. Sam's modus operandi is to cut corners, use cheap materials, and execute projects in the most unprofessional way I have ever seen, all to line his pockets with a few extra bucks.
