Firstly the Wi-Fi was non-existent when we were there and when people are traveling out of the country they kind of depend on WiFi for cellular cost reasons. You have to do better with the bathroom lighting. Pink lighting is not great for a woman applying makeup lol. There was another light in that bathroom but it is very dim. There is nowhere to put anything like toiletries in the bathroom, no hooks, no shelving, no nothing it was very awkward in there. Also, our towel heater didn't work and I don't even think it was connected and they didn't have washcloths(which I've noticed is a thing throughout and I still don't get it lol) but no worries because I brought my own with me because I knew there would be about an 95% chance there would be no washcloths. All of this would've been a bigger deal if our stay was longer but it wasn't so these are just suggestions. Overall it's a beautiful spot and everyone was very nice.

And no parking, need to use public lots and continue to make sure paid for the full stay.

I think it saved me 5-10 Euro/night compared to booking through a website. Cutting out the middle man saves money for everyone! We arrived with 4 bags at 10:30 waited over an hour and no one was even at B&B. We had to leave our bags in a doorway and pray no one stole them while we walked to town (down 2 hills). They showed up at 4pm to check us in. It was a pain to not have our bags securely locked away. We did Not need access to a room just a place to store our bags for early arrival. They have no hair dryers U can only pay cash (euro) for hotel no credit cards accepted! They basically give u a key ms u are left alone. Other B&Bs were more informative w sites/tours in areas. I would suggest u stay in TOWN at Blue Haven which u can walk right out to restaurants and shopping and walk around water.

It has only 5 bedrooms, so we counted ourselves extremely lucky to get a booking for August bank holiday weekend at short notice (turns out there had been a last minute cancellation). The hosts are friendly and extremely thoughtful, while being unobtrusive. The lovely setting adds to the tranquil atmosphere, and yet it's only a few minutes drive (15km) to Kinsale (where we had dinner). A wee drink from the honesty bar rounded off our evening nicely, as we perused some of the fine selection of books in the lounge.The breakfast here was second to none - fresh, quality ingredients, home grown on the farm or sourced from local producers, fresh-baked bread (still warm from the oven), real freshly-squeezed juices. My wife opted for the freshly made buttermilk pancakes with organic bacon and maple syrup, and was equally impressed. We found the wi-fi signal variable in our room, but other than that, I couldn't fault this wonderful guest house.
