However, it quickly found its market, and nearly 30 years later, its still there, and still run by the same family. Its also - and always has been - very good value for money, and the food is very nice, certainly better than any of the other local takeaway places. As with most Chinese takeaways, most of the food on sale can be found in most other Chinese takeaways, so while they dont tend to offer anything out of the ordinary, what they do sell is tasty, hot and fresh, and it never takes very long for your order to be ready. It is obvious as soon as you walk in that this isn't what a kebab shop looks like. It's clean and airy with a large counter displaying a variety of salad items. The staff were a cut above as well. Unfortunately as well as upping the standards they have also upped the price with the result that I paid more for a standard kebab here, out of town than I would in the city. They serve an impressive array of kebabs here and I will certainly be treating myself again in the near future. I put the disorganized nature of the service down to the newness of the venture.
