The starter was a mixed salad from the garden, with a main course of mixed home-cooked stews, veal, beef and hirsch, plus a delicious cheese polenta. The selection of home made desserts was impressive, especially the home made jam.
We went with two adults and our two boys (6 and 9), and we were all very impressed. There is no choice of menu, only what is served that day, so it is important to be open to trying various cuisines. The staff were very friendly and put up with our very limited Italian (we managed in English and German). Recommend to call beforehand so they know the time you are arriving.
