On my phone call to check out prices, San Luis Customs, a 3 M dealer, gave me a quote on the lowest price window treatment. Upon arrival, I chose an upgrade. He gave the upgrade to me at the price quoted on the phone. That was very kind. When the work was completed, Doug, the technician, would not even accept a small tip. He has been doing this job for 35 years and is excellent at it. This car will be traded out with my granddaughter who has small children. She is returning my prior car. She has important miles to drive, living in LA. I'm retired and driving far less. My growing family needs a newer car with their circumstances. I have had 3 M window tint on a car in the past. The company backed up one window that needed replacement with no hassle, so I am happy with the prior results. I am real happy with the beautiful work on this window tint. I just got my new Tesla back from San Luis Customs after they tinted the five windows behind the driver to make them darker, gave me much better UVA/UVB sun protection on the driver and front passenger door windows, and also darkened the very top of the windshield so that the sun that otherwise pokes through the middle no longer hurts my eyes. The owner Gary is absolutely delightful to work with, gave me what I thought was a reasonable price to take care of everything; and his staff id all the work today in about five hours. San Luis Customs tinted our very large window that was receiving a lot of direct sunlight since we had to remove two trees that previously shaded the window. They were very helpful in guiding us to the right level of tint. They did not push us to use the most expensive tint. They were very professional, right on time and did a fantastic job. We have mission style windows with lots of wood trim and different size windows within the window (i.e. panes). That did not hinder the great job they did. This is a business lacking customer service in many facets. They are not able to keep appointments nor communication with their clients and fail to apologize when confronted with the inconvenience they cause due to this and continue to make lame excuses. They caused damage to my vehicle during service but could not accept responsibility and again, just made excuses and we're defensive. (For my 2018 Chevy Silverado LTZ Duramax 2500). Dave did a fantastic job installing the 3m Crystalline tint, and Max was kind enough to give me a ride to go shopping while the tint was being done. I have never had to use an auto body shop for car repair, but if I ever do I would not hesitate to use San Luis Customs. I will tell you why. My friend got in a little accident with her car and took it to San Luis Customs. The damages on the car almost made this car a total. They went out of their way to get her car back on the road and in a very timely manner. Her car was as good as new! I set out to get two estimates for damage done to my bumper that insurance was going to pay for. While I was at it, I got an estimate for damage that I was going to have to pay out of pocket. After talking to Gary at San Luis Customs, I was pretty sure I would be going with him. When I received his estimate, the deal was sealed. Would have been a 5 star review if they had actually repaired my car fully and/or let me know that the repair they were doing would not be complete. I came in with a bumper that had ripped off when I hit a curb that was too high. Came in as they were closing, glad the owner was being so helpful and nice about me leaving my car to be repaired the next day. Got a call that they had to order more parts, no biggie, and it would be ready a day later. Perfect! Go pick it up thinking that it's 100% fixed for just $300. Happy with fast and easy service! THEN I get a call half an hour later with a "heads up" that it's not 100% fixed. He didn't let me know before because he didn't want to "open up that can of worms and it would probably be ok." WHAT?!? It would've been nice to have gotten a call, before I picked it up, with options of a fast cheap fix or a more expensive but better fix. Not a call after the fact, after I paid $300 for a partial fix thinking it was completely repaired. Long story short, a nice calm owner that needs to work on communication aka letting customers know what's up before they drive away with their "fixed" car that's actually more of a cover-up job. read more

San Luis Customs inc. window tinting is very impressive. I owned a 97' Honda CR-V with windows tinted in that year. As time went on the window tint technology got better and the window tint on my CR-V windows declined. Fortunately, San Luis Customs inc. had a lifetime limited warranty on the window tint that was installed perfectly from window edge to window edge. After years of hot and cold weather conditions the tint was bubbled and beaten up but the tint was still attached edge to edge. I went back to San Luis Customs inc. in June of 2015, 18 years later, and they inspected and honored the limited lifetime warranty. Yet, this time the window tint had 3M technology and fit edge to edge on the windows just as clean as before, and the customer service was just as kind and professional 18 years later. The customer care and professionalism might as well have a lifetime warranty on it too. I will definitely go back again and highly recommend anyone to take a look at their quality care for their customers. read more

His pricing is always fair and his work, integrity and honesty are beyond reproach. I just had him repair some collision damage on my motorcycle.
