I can not say enough good things about the management and employees at this hotel. Several people spoke decent English and were able to help us a lot. Everyone was friendly and caring and went above and beyond to see to our needs. The breakfast (included with the room) was very good with lots of choices and attention to variety. Eggs cooked to order were available. The restaurant is also open for dinner and had a good variety of choices. Room service was excellent. We were there long enough to form genuine bonds with some of the people and are still in touch with them. The hotel is across the parking lot from a major shopping mall, so very easy to get to. The mall has a food court, handy for changing up your diet sometimes. All in all, I loved this hotel and the caring and helpful employees who took care of us in one of the most difficult times, made even more difficult by our inability to speak Portuguese.
