From Calzados website:
"Our factories are controlled by an external certifying entity so that they accomplish a social responsibility code, making sure that the shoes are manufactured in a respectful working environment. The soles of Victoria shoes are made with natural rubber directly extracted from tree resin. Natural rubber is much more heat and wear resistant than a synthetic one, and besides it is more respectful to nature. Our materials are made from cotton which is 100% natural, grown and made in Spain. Natural fabrics are lighter and perspire better than synthetic ones so they are more comfortable and protect feet from infections. "
