Justine is an amazing acupuncturist! I came in with nerve and joint pain so severe I could barely walk, sleep, or eat. The doctor at urgent care wanted to inject steroids & give me muscle relaxers... no thanks. I visited Justine and walked out an hour later almost pain-free! After another treatment a few days later, I had all mobility back with no pain. The moxibustion was especially soothing and is helping restore my sacrum from old injuries. Really grateful to have found Justine and Sanctuary Community Acupuncture. I came in after a long road trip and my neck and back were so tense!! After one treatment of acupuncture needles and cupping I went from a 9/10 discomfort to 2/10 discomfort. The acupuncture treatment also seriously eased my digestive disrupts and anxiety. I cannot recommend Justine's services enough. I went to see her to severe, very debilitating sciatica pain on the whole right side of my lower extremities. I could hardly walk, was in intense pain for over two weeks and did not know what to do. A friend recommended me to her services and it was a game-changer. After only 1 treatment I had no pain for over 1 full day and after only two treatments, I had hardly no pain at all and have been healed ever since. I came down with the shingles, with stabbing pains that kept me awake during my sleep cycle. But I didn't want to go into the abyss of prescription drugs. My spouse suggested that I have some acupuncture sessions, as this has been shown to be effective for this malady. She steered me to Justine, as she had had an amazing session there herself. Well, all I can say is that these sessions have been fantastic. Under Justine's confident, caring, professional care, the pains have been subsiding, I can sleep without waking in pain, and I am feeling like myself again. I highly recommend Justine Sophia for acupuncture and healing services. I have had chronic back pain and have seen numerous acupuncturists and chiropractors. Justine uses a particular style where the patient is on their back; this style of acupuncture, I believe, has led my body into the proper healing process. Many acupuncturists do NOT use this style, and I believe this is why I have found healing with her! I am so thankful to say I no longer feel the chronic back pain I once did. I found Justine's practice through a friend who recommended her. I was suffering symptoms from Long Covid (fatigue, migraines, poor gut health and dizziness). Justine was very caring, knowledgeable and professional and her space is lovely. I had several sessions with her and each time my body responded well to her treatment. Justine is THE best! You will feel so cared for, safe, and comfortable in her space and her practice. I was hesitant at first because I hadn't received accupuncture at first, but Justine is very attuned to the needs of each client. She was gentle with me and did not push me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. We started out with a small amount of needles and with each session I became more comfortable and trusting of the accupuncture session and process. Justine is very educational and always willing to answer any questions you may have. Additionally, she does a sliding scale which is awesome and so accommodating! You can receive the care you need and pay the amount you are able to. She also has some really awesome tinctures if you're interested in that. I use the "go to bed" tincture and that's been really helpful for my overall well-being.
